Beautiful home, in a lovely quiet area of Wanaka, close to walking tracks. Emily was very responsive and a great host, highly recommend.

Wow! What a place! The moment we arrived we felt relaxed and calm, the combination of the sound of the river flowing, the snow on the mountain peaks, the green grass and unbelievable views immediately calmed the soul. We loved the hot tub overlooking the mountains and the steam sauna just outside of the house. The house is spacious, the linen is sooo comfortable, it has everything you could want and more. we have traveled all over the world and Rebecca and Graeme’s Airbnb is right up there with one of the best we have stayed. Thank you SO MUCH for hosting us, we can’t wait to visit again next year.

We loved our stay at The Fig Tree House. Sarah's house is beautifully designed with all the comforts of home. Sarah's a very thoughtful host and we really enjoyed getting to know her when we bumped into her. The house was a great space for our children (4 and 7) who enjoyed the books and games in the house plus the novelty of a fire place. Sarah's house is close to the river which has great biking/walking trails, 100m to a small supermarket, bakery and shops and a short drive to Wanaka town. We couldn't recommend it more! Exceptional stay! Deb is an amazing host - thoughtful, welcoming, and attentive. The place is perfectly located for easy walking, yet feels private and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Loved the special touches throughout. Don’t think twice about booking - we highly recommend this special Airbnb!

Michelle and her partner were fantastic. Always happy to cater to our needs and responded timely to all enquiries. The area offers the seclusion and privacy for a romantic getaway. Lots of stars at night and golden silence to sleep well after a day full of adventures in Queenstown. Lucky to find such a place. Thank you Michelle!

If I had to describe Jodi & Renee’s place in one word it would be: flawless. The apartment is spacious with some of the best views we’ve ever experienced in an AirBNB. This flat has everything you could want; super comfortable rooms (with en-suites) each overlooking the water, an incredibly well-stocked kitchen, and an inviting living room. The only downside is that this flat is so great, it made us think twice about going out and exploring the town!

If I had the chance to design a cabin, this would be it: everything you need, & nothing you don’t. (Yes, I consider a dishwasher & washing machine essential) It’s clear that every detail has been thoughtfully considered to create a truly restful retreat. We chose not to set up the internet during our stay and applaud the host for planning to remove it entirely. It’s not necessary here. Give yourself the gift of disconnection & immerse yourself in the beauty of this incredible part of the world. The highlight was the wood-fired hot tub under the stars. It takes some time to heat up—but that process became a cherished ritual: chopping wood, stirring the water as it warms, and being the first to brave the plunge. It added meaning to the experience. Inside, the comfort continues: a firm, cozy bed, an amazing rainfall shower, and thoughtful touches like a motion-sensing nightlight to guide the way to the bathroom. Every detail enhanced our stay. A truly special place to unwind and reset.

Stephen is truly a gentleman and the place is absolutely stunning! The hot tub was the highlight and Stephen was kind enough to get it ready for us when we wanted. Wanaka is short drive from the vineyard and there are plenty of other great places to visit nearby! If you’re looking to stay in this region, go for it !

I had a great time with my family at this Air bnb, it had amazing views, the house was clutter free and very clean, felt just like being at my home. Kids loved the bunk beds 😊
