Siempre nos ha gustado Palo Seco y buscábamos un lugar "Pet Friendly". Esta casita ofrece todas las comodidades, frente al mar, y super tranquilo. Nos encantó la estadía, el servicio excelente y atentos a lo que necesitábamos. Definitivamente pensamos volver.

: Fantastic Beachside Getaway with Excellent Amenities and a Wonderful Host! I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful Airbnb, just a stone’s throw from the beach. The location is absolutely perfect, making it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. The house itself is extremely well-equipped, with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay—from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy living spaces. Maud was welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing, beachside retreat!

David’s house was the perfect spot for my surfing family. Steps to a world class break and close to so many yummy restaurants! There was a very friendly outdoor cat who hung out with us and chased lizards by the pristine pool. There was a night watch guard who was friendly and attentive and Askel was great and responsive. This spot is a 10/10 and we will be back!

It’s hard to sum up my feelings about this place. It was so special and wonderful. It’s hard to describe. I also hesitate about giving it so much praise because I worry that next time I want to book it it’ll be full! The place was perfect. It was right on a private beach at the end of a private road. The water was a perfect temperature. The sand was soft. The ground Keeper was so friendly and very helpful. He was very kind to my kids and we felt right at home! Also a huge added bonus were his dogs. My kids miss our dogs when we travel and they were thrilled to find dogs here waiting for us when we arrived. There were limitless activities for us to do. We could lay around on the beach or swim in the pool or do excursions that were close by. This part of Costa Rica is extremely beautiful! I would stay in a place like this over a resort any day.

The little house was everything we needed. It certainly matched the listing description. Seconds away from the beach and a short walk from many restaurant options!

We had such a wonderful time at Jorge’s condominium! We decided to use this as a base for Manuel Antonio Park, as it is only 45 minutes to 1 hour away from the Park. We feel that we got the best of both worlds, as.Bejuco is much less commercialized, yet has some wonderful places to eat (make sure to check out Don Toro’s Beach Restaurant). Moreover, the condominium is very spacious and well appointed, and you feel as if you have the beach completely to yourself.

Tahia estuvo desde el inicio muy pendiente de que nuestra estancia fuera la mejor. Amamos llegar a este lugar tan cómodo y bonito. Sin duda alguna deseamos volver, como familia comentamos que ha sido el lugar donde la mejor experiencia vacacional hemos tenido. La comodidad, la ubicación, las amenidades y el excelente servicio de los anfitriones merecen todo el reconocimiento!

Had a great visit! The place was in a great location close to restaurants and activities! Yojaira was very responsive and helpful throughout the trip and even before when we had questions! We will definitely look at renting with her again!

David’s place was great! You cannot beat the location and view. We were so thankful we chose this place, it was close to everything and he is a great host. We’d love to come back!

This was a great last minute rental. Maria was a great host and helpful with everything. I would rent from this group again and even consider buying a place for them to manage. I hope to visit again soon.

Our stay at Lapa Villas was amazing! We were 18 people and it fit us perfectly. Carli was SO helpful, communicative, and recommended so many local attractions. She also helped us booked a Chef (who we loved) and a boat tour, and got us a bit of a deal for our large group size. She even baked us brownies 🥹 It’s an incredible pair of villas and we loved the covered outdoor kitchen right by the pool, we hung out there constantly. The hike down to the private beach is great for viewing wildlife right at the house. The hot tub and pool were amazing, especially with our visit being during the rainy season! We were a bit disappointed by the sauna as it didn’t work at all during our stay, but hopefully it will be up and running soon. And Carli and Yader were both super responsive and helpful with trying to get it going which we greatly appreciated. All in all this was a great place to stay! 5/5 stars

Absolutely recommend this amazing location. This is our 5th trip to CR and this is the best Air bnb we’ve found. The beautiful private backyard and saltwater pool will make you never want to leave. Scarlet macaws overhead all day, the place is just magical. Yet there is a whole beach minutes walk away, a charming community, all the amenities you need. Karen was a lovely and responsive host with great recommendations for where to go and what to eat. HIGHLY recommend, this place is a gem!

Jeffrey's place was a dream come true. His house is extremely private and it felt like our own private retreat. We saw some amazing wildlife such as toucans, parrots, and iguanas but hallways through our stay, we noticed a wasp nest beginning to form near the front gate. As soon as we saw the nest start to form, we reached out to Jeffrey who personally took care of it within 12 hours. He provided so many great local recommendations and he always responded quickly. We would love to stay here again in the future and I cannot recommend Jeffrey enough as a host!

I can’t imagine a more perfect location for our crew. The house had the optimal set up for our extended family- bunk room for the kids, 3 adult bedrooms, a functional kitchen and great indoor and outdoor hang areas. The pool + beach front location can’t be beat! We hung in the pool throughout the day and sat on the covered balcony overlooking the waves in the evening. We had the beach to ourselves. It was quiet and beautiful for a stroll and waves perfect for boggie boarding. But the highlight was really Yeni (onsite house keeper) and her family who helped us navigate the house, hooked us up with a local fishing exclusion and let my curious 10 year old tag along on the morning fish haul + cleaning. She and her husband prepped and cooked our freshly caught fish and joined us for dinner. We felt so taken care of. Thanks for an amazing few days, we will certainly be back!

Stunning beach-front villa at Matapalo beach, Costa Rica. Shout out to the insightful & helpful host, Perry & his concierge, Flory. These two have been wonderful in terms of local restaurant recommendations. We LOVED Gusto Italian restaurant in Uvita, as well as Coco Mongo in Dominical for breakfast! A hidden gem that is very close to the Villa was “A Kahete Pizzeria,” which offers open-air seating & expansive menu, which included seafood & pasta dishes! The two Costa Rican female servers were efficient, friendly, and provided outstanding guest services! The only caveat at the Villa was when the power went out in the area from a rain storm (immensely common) and the generator ran out of gas. We were without electricity for about an hour. And we almost took our toddler to a different lodging place b/c it was too hot & muggy to spend the night. Thank goodness the electricity came back on!

Jordy’s place is a hidden gem. Tucked away on its own private road, it is a piece of paradise! The beach is a stones throw away, and we had it all to ourselves, the place is worth it for that alone! But the house was really beautiful and had everything we needed. We only had a short stay but we absolutely loved it. Domincal is on your doorstep for restaurants/supermarkets etc but it was nice to cut away and be in such a peaceful and beautiful spot. The resident dog Zion was a personal highlight for us! Jordy was helpful and communicative, an all round great host. Thanks for a great stay!

Then place is in a good location with a beautiful view of the ocean from the balconies. Spacious rooms.

This is a very special house. The decor just made us happy...a unique blend of modern concrete floors and counter tops and handmade rustic furniture, gorgeous art work and even a little deco thrown in. The location is brilliant, you can see the water in the distance and there are meters and meters of lush green pasture between you and the road. There is a fabulous small pool which is perfect for cooling down in (very) warm uvita. Excellent air in all the bedrooms. The main room is not AC-d, but this was fine with us. Everything cools down a lot at night. There is a small nice sandy beach in the front (not great for swimming as there are rocks farther out) and Natalia will tell you about a secret beach that is about a 15 minute walk away that is spectacular. No one was there while we were there and the beach is huge and perfect for body surfing. Wonderful pizza at Pizza Time and great meals at Aricari and Gusto (but Gusto is tricky to get to without 2x4). Loved every minute!

We had a wonderful stay at Carrie's place in Bejuco. Her and her husband were incredibly communicative leading up to and during our stay. We appreciated the scenic views from the condo and watching macaws fly by in the morning as we drank coffee from the balcony. Away from the more touristy parts of the coast, we enjoyed coming back to the serenity of the condo after a day of exploring the surrounding areas. Would recommend for anyone seeking solace or a home base from Manuel Antonio.

Jean was an amazing host, very helpful and responsive. The studio is stunning, the view is just amazing and great amenities ( the pool has an ocean view). Merci beaucoup Jean!

What can I say about Mike and Diana, other than absolute greatness. They were amazing hosts. Super accommodating, super sweet, and really gives you the feel of Costa Rica. These hosts went above and beyond, making our stay truly impeccable. They were kind, caring, and without a doubt lovely. I would recommend everyone to stay here just to experience the awesomeness of them being hosts. The place has true Costa Rica character and a beautiful view. You will truly be blessed to stay with them. If there was an option to give them a million stars, I would be doing it. You won’t regret staying here and you truly will have an amazing time, while being taken care of. Cheers to the amazing hosts.
