This place is a paradise. Off the beaten track in the supremely beautiful surrounding forested hills. The accommodation accentuates the tranquillity of the surroundings, with everything thoughtfully designed. Spotless and very comfortable, we had a very happy stay here. Matt and Megan were very helpful and welcoming. You can tell that they love the place and have made beautiful accommodations and gardens. We also loved the pool and pool area, again very nicely furnished. We saw Toucans, humming birds, frogs and Crested Guans. It was so peaceful. There was one other family staying in the nearby stand alone villa next door during part of our stay and there was plenty of space and privacy to share the gardens and pool. There is plenty to do in the local area like Nauyaca Waterfalls and Dominical is close by. We were tempted to bring our robust 2x4 car but we were glad we listened to the advice to have a 4x4 as the driveway needs it. All in all great value and a real highlight. Thank you!

Words don’t do this place justice- you feel at one with nature! Very private but stunning. Henry was great and was there if we needed anything. Figure out the cab situation before getting there or rent a car. That was our only struggle. Great food around- Dominical sushi is awesome!!!!

El acceso es facilísimo y la ubicación está buenísima: todo queda cerca y hay un montón de lugares que visitar y cosas por hacer. Lissette fue una host increíble, siempre atenta, amable y rápida para responder. Nos encantó todo, ¡súper recomendable y sin duda vamos a volver!

I had the most amazing week here with my two teenage daughters. The house, spread across three floors, provided plenty of extra space, but what truly made it unforgettable was the breathtaking location and ocean view—absolutely worth it. Lorenzo, the host, was fantastic—always available and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that my first big adventure with my daughters was a memorable one. This trip was something I had been waiting to do until my girls were old enough to embrace long days of exploring and take on thrilling excursions like zip-lining, whitewater rafting, and scuba diving. The villa’s location made everything incredibly convenient—just steps away from a bank, grocery store, wine shop, and some incredible restaurants like Terraza, Emilios, Le Papillon, and Tico Times. If you’re looking to wake up to monkeys, toucans, macaws, and sloths right off your balcony—peeking at you through your screen doors—this is your place

We will definitely be back and would love to stay at Villa MotMot of Manuel Antonio (MA) Estates again—it’s a beautiful neighborhood with so many lovely homes, perfectly located within walking distance to downtown Quepos (and yummy food at Soda Sanchez) and Manuel Antonio (plus right on the bus line down to MA National Park and Playa Espadilla). And El Salto (a waterfall near the end of the road up the very steep hill and down a rugged trail) is an unpolished, natural gem! We had so many memorable adventures and experiences thanks in no small part to the kind, patient, responsive, and hospitable staff at MA Estates, Biophilia, and Chef Vicky! The Villa was great (perfect for our family of 5, ranging from age 6 to 72) as was the pool (so refreshing!) and the backyard visits from frogs, lizards, birds, and monkeys! There was some construction on the lot next door, but the host told us about it beforehand and offered (plus then honored) a fair discount as a result. Great trip! Pura Vida!

This place is truly gorgeous. The interior is beautifully designed and it had all the thoughtful touches and useful amenities that made it feel a home away from home, but with more luxury. The pool was dreamy, the perfect size and temperature was lovely. The area was incredibly peaceful and we were extremely relaxed. The water went off briefly during our stay but it came back quickly and I understand these things happen / are out of the hosts control when the place is so rural, deep in the mountains. The host was extremely attentive with support and communication. The dirt road there is not for the anxious driver. We came prepared with a small 4x4 as recommend but some stretches of particularly intimidating potholes still required thought and care. I think you could get away with a 2x4 SUV in dry season if you wanted to just stay at the property, but if in rainy season or as a base camp to regularly head out to the beach/town then 4x4 with ground clearance is recommend

We loved staying here, we were a group with four little ones and it was a great spot to spend the week while exploring the natural wonders that Costa Rica has to offer. The house itself is gorgeous and a short walk to a beautiful baby friendly beach (just be ware that this walk is not stroller friendly). Our host David and Carlos were both extremely responsive and helpful giving us recommendations and booking some activities for us. We used the chefs for a few nights who made us delicious Costa Rican food (chef Freddy and chef Carlos were amazing!) and the cleaning service was so helpful for keeping a house full of little kids clean and sand free. The only thing I would mention for future families is that the balcony (which is beautiful and often times visited by local monkeys) is set into a cliff and requires very watchful eyes to make sure the little ones don’t get too close to the railing. Just something to consider, Overall wonderful stay here and would highly recommend!

we had an amazing stay! great location. great clean pool with a little group of iguanas that came to visit daily. pictures are pretty accurate. the place is not modern and in places a little tired but very comfortable!! the kitchen had full range of pots and utensils. they did provide a little salt and small bottle oil, however, come prepared with groceries (many located within a short drive).. the ocean at the back of garden is really glorious, but not the typical sit in sand all day kinda beach. taking walks along the semi private sands when low tide is approaching is really really recommended! the management team were very responsive and helpful. we would come back here again! made some wonderful memories here!

We loved our stay here and will definitely return. We live about two hours away and chose this place to meet up with some friends visiting from out of the country and they were so impressed. The pool, the swings, the starry effect above the pool, and of course the amazing views were so enjoyed. The beds and bedding were very comfy, and in general, being someone who lives here and understands how challenging it is to acquire quality items here, it was clear that a lot of time and energy had been put into outfitting the place with love and an eye for detail. This was everything I always hope an AirBNB experience can be.

Jungle Roost accurately describes this amazing home. Once here, you are surrounded by immaculate gardens and lush jungle. Every day, we were greeted by all three species of monkeys in Manuel Antonio (white-faced capuchin, squirrel, and mantled howler), amazing birds (like a yellow-throated toucan), and a little group of agoutis walking around the garden. The house is very clean, well-maintained, and nicely appointed. The pool was always crystal clear and the perfect temperature. The host, Ismael, was amazing. He made check-in a breeze and was very responsive to all of our needs. And he clearly takes care of this amazing house. I cannot say enough about it. We didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend it.

Words cannot describe the beauty of both the house and the surroundings. We arrived after dark and when we looked outside in the morning we were met with the most unbelievable view. There were 8 of us and not once did we feel like we were in each other's way. The house is huge!! The daily maid service was absolutely a bonus that we weren't expecting,,, she gave us so much extra time to enjoy ourselves. The wildlife was so much fun. We didn't even want to leave the property because we were scared to miss something. Monkeys galore everyday,, a sloth and a toucan plus lots of others. We walked to so many amazing restaurants and bars. We took ubers to the beach because it would have been quite a long walk. 100 percent rent this place if you are ever considering Manuel Antonio,,, you will not be disappointed.

Really special place!! The views are incredible and we saw so much wildlife from our beautiful wrap-around deck and the pool area, including monkeys, scarlet macaws and agoutis. Loved the privacy and serenity of the villa, but was a short walk to the Mariposa hotel. Would definitely stay here again!!

Our stay here was absolutely magical and was truly a trip of a lifetime for everyone in my group! It was a girl’s trip for my bachelorette - 11 people total and beyond comfortable for all. We each had our own beds and plenty of space. The housekeeper and maintenance/pool man came daily. There are several terraces and outdoor spaces with equally unique and beautiful views! The villa is even more stunning & impressive in person. We opted to do the all-inclusive private chefs and it was BEYOND WORTH IT and really made our trip so unforgettable! Our chefs Mario & Adrian were absolutely INCREDIBLE; we ate like royalty everyday! The concierge team was so responsive and helpful in planning the trip and making all of our reservations for every type of activity we wanted to do! Excursions, spa day massages at the villa, airport transportation… they will help you book and organize every request! There’s not a single complaint or negative thing that we could say. STOP HESITATING & BOOK IT!!!

This is a beautiful place to stay with stunning view of the valley. Wake up early for the cacophony of birds and enjoy the theatrics of the monkeys and raccoons in the trees. Cedric was very responsive and his staff, is friendly and efficient. The house is laid out so that everyone can find a private spot. There is a big, gorgeous pool and plenty of area to sit in the sun, or shade. The kitchen is well stocked. We appreciated the filtered water cooler with a 5 gallon jug provided. Each bedroom is en suite with AC and high ceiling fans. If you love nature, and privacy, this is your place.

Un lugar super tranquilo, no hay ruido de nada, ideal para descansar y compartir tiempo en familia, la piscina super limpia y muy cerca de un río para poder refrescarse sin ningún peligro, calle poco transitada, ideal para llevar nuestras mascotas en un ambiente agradable, los recomiendo don José y doña Elizabeth muy gentiles

It's always concerning to stay at a place with few reviews. Hopefully, I can assuage your concerns a bit. From what I understand, it has few reviews on AirBnb because it's been on vr bo & others. This was my 28th airbnb over 10 years, and I'm pretty sure that it's in the top 5. The place really is excellent, perfect for the 3 different couples that were traveling together. Great communal areas, spotless, very well appointed kitchen, nice pool, killer AC. Esteban, the local host, was amazingly responsive for the few typical items that we needed input on and actually made the stay even nicer. If we're back in Dominical, we'll 100% be reaching out to stay here again.

We stayed at Serenity Cove for our honeymoon trip to Costa Rica and the house was absolutely incredible! The house was just as described. Having the huge windows looking into the jungle was an amazing experience. We saw monkeys, birds, butterflies, lizards, coatis, bats, and more all in the yard! We felt very safe and comfortable in the home. Christina was very responsive and answered all our questions very quickly. We had a great time, and when we come back to Costa Rica we will be staying at Serenity Cove again!

I actually did not stay in the place but I was able to see everything of the property and experienced most of what is needed to judge the host’ service. Just like the photos. Beautiful place, with a pristine pool, 1 minute walk to the ocean, and just 5 minutes walk to the wild Bandera beach. Don Randal, at the site, is a genuine tico with an interesting background and many stories to tell, that reminds the good old days of this amazing country. He was willing to help us with our needs. Likewise, don Oscar who manages the property helped us to refund our pay given I had misread some information about the property and I was traveling with my parents that are at an age in which some specific accommodation is needed. He even told me where I could find what would be good for my parents. I would come back with other group of the family.

Un lugar espectacular, la casa está completamente equipada, una piscina impecable y todo sumido en medio del bosque. Los dueños son súper amables, y siempre estuvieron pendientes de que estuviéramos bien.

Dit was ons laatste verblijf tijdens onze reis door Costa Rica en het was echt de perfecte afsluiter! Het huis is prachtig gelegen in een schitterende omgeving. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd: de kamers en badkamer waren zeer schoon, het beddengoed fris en het zwembad uitstekend onderhouden. De keuken was volledig uitgerust met alles wat je maar nodig hebt – iets wat we in andere accommodaties soms misten. Denk aan een blender, scherpe messen, dunschiller, snijplanken, borden, kommen, enzovoort. Het maakte het koken hier echt aangenaam. Daarnaast waren de hosts ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam, vooral bij het plannen van activiteiten. Een absolute aanrader is het inhuren van een privéchef. Wij deden dit voor het diner en het was een geweldige ervaring – alles was tot in de puntjes geregeld en heerlijk verzorgd. Kortom: een toplocatie (met veel toekans, super leuk!) en een prachtig huis. We zouden dit verblijf zeker aanraden!
