There are about 100 steps to get from the porch of the home down to the lakeside - which was so peaceful! There were constant "waves" hitting the shore. It was lovely! Fishing from shore so easy too. We just had to watch for the baby croc on the first day and working to not catch turtles on the second. The kitchen had the dishes/pots/pans/salt and other spices we needed. It even had a blender! The main bed was comfortable. Don't know about the two single beds. The porch had both charcoal and gas grills and was a great place to hangout and look at the trees! We had a great time. This was exactly what I needed while in the area fishing a tournament on Eufaula. Plenty of parking for boat & truck, and Joey was very responsive in all communications. Will definitely book again if in the area.

My husband, dog and I had a very peaceful stay at Wanda’s. It was very quiet. The trees were beautiful. The screened in porch was perfect for letting me to allow my pup off leash yet controlled. That way we could all relax! This place is perfect for visiting Providence Canyon State Park, which offered a beautiful hike. Wanda and her husband were very friendly and communication was excellent. We highly recommend this place!

This was a great place to stay while fishing the Ray Scott Championship at Lake Eufaula. There was just enough room for my truck and a 20' bass boat and was easy to park. I really liked that its in a gated community. Great place to stay!

Great place to stay local to hiking, amenities and beautiful nature to explore. We stayed here with our dogs and they enjoyed the spacious inside and fenced yard. The porch is so relaxing. Would def stay here again to explore more!

Whether you’re watching the sunset from the fire pit, enjoying a quiet evening watching movies, or just soaking in the peaceful surroundings, it’s an incredibly special place for couples to reconnect. The house is well-appointed, with all the comforts you need for a comfortable stay, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat, great fishing, and a romantic escape!

I booked this for my birthday trip to Providence Canyon State Park and it was perfect. This time of year there are no leaves on the trees and I enjoyed the views of the water and the sunset. The cabin, to me, was better than pictured. I grew up in an old dairy farm house and I absolutely loved the original hardwood floors, shiplap walls, thick trim, and antique door handles. It added so much character and was so cozy!
