What a great, character-filled stay in Melrose. We were going to camp but it was looking a bit hot for early November so we found this place. The kids couldn't believe their luck! comfy beds, very clean, the aircon in the upstairs loft sleeping area came in handy in the late afternoons. Right near a cute park where we cooked a bbq for dinner. Very basic kitchenette as advertised. Wonderful creaky old barn. We will definitely be back. thanks Alan.

Nigel was a nice man and the house was comfortable and centrally located to all things in Hawker and for exploring the Flinders Ranges. Everything needed was there at the house to make the stay enjoyable.

This is our 3 rd stay at Adam’s place we just can’t get enough it’s absolutely a beautiful location just so peaceful. Looking forward to going back

Jen provided detailed information on how to access the property in advance and all was clear and easy to understand. The house itself is exactly as described and photographed in the listing. In addition Jen responded very quickly to all communication. It was our first visit to Port Augusta and we chose it both as a place to stay between Adelaide and the Flinders range and because we wanted to play the local golf course. As such it was ideally suited and we were actually able to play two rounds at the super friendly PAGC. Many thanks Jen.

Yacca Valley was a lovely, quiet, secluded off grid getaway. We really enjoyed the serenity and scenery of being out bush. We appreciated all of the chopped wood for indoor and outdoor fires, and lovely clean linen etc. This Cute little cottage has everything you need if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. Make sure you bring your own food etc as no shops nearby. Flies can also be a problem this time of year so fly nets for your walks recommended (this is common for everywhere in Flinders right now). Thank you for sharing this private little spot, it was just what we needed for a weekend getaway.

Great quiet place. Kayaking, fishing, walking...Hose has amazing aircon so at 38C we did not feel the heat. Anyone looking for private place to enjoy and relax away from city noise, this is the spot.

Yates/Pug Cottage is a quirky delightful surprise. We loved the history of the building, and marvelled at the construction. Alison and Chris have done a really nice job of renovating, furnishing and equipping it to modern standards whilst retaining the historical original look and feel. The outside covered enclosed patio is lovely and the garden/yard is well tended and neat. It was a scorching day when we were there, and we were able to stay nice and cool in the house, with an a/c I the living area and another in the bedroom. Thanks Alison and Chris, we had an excellent stay and highly recommend the cottage.

I stayed at this property last month and honestly, it was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. The surroundings were absolutely stunning—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect escape from the everyday rush. Whether it was morning coffee with a view or quiet evening walks, the location made the trip totally worth it. The property itself was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting!

This place was so beautiful. It was such a pleasure to stay, and we hope to stay again in the coming winter months. The bath was definitely the most amazing part of the space. We absolutely enjoyed our stay, we only wish we stayed longer.
