John was an excellent host. Upon arrival there was a misunderstanding with the booking. John was very apologetic and extremely nice and made sure it was all right for us. John gave us local recommendations and was very friendly to talk to. The house is in a nice location on the lake and I really enjoyed the train passing right by the house.

Holli was a fabulous host and this stay had everything we needed. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking and baking. The house is spacious, comfortable, and clean. Holli was very communicative and went out of her way to help. A few hours after check-in I locked us out and Holli quickly jumped in to help. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved every minute of our trip to Whitney and Pete’s camper. Perfect spot for those looking to explore New River Gorge national park. They were accommodating for our late check in, which makes it the perfect weekend getaway. Super clean space! Honestly, best AirBnB experience we’ve had. Thank you so much Whitney and Pete for making our time in West Virginia so incredible!

This is the second property we've stayed at hosted by Elizabeth. Elizabeth is an excellent host- she is very responsive to all queries and requests and her homes are immaculately clean and welcoming when you arrive. The Oak Hill property is located in a residential neighborhood. We found it to be very quiet and had no issues with dogs barking (as other reviewers mentioned). The home is beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner. The beds are firm and comfortable, as are the linens. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Quick and wonderful communication. everything was exactly as it showed. there were delightful little welcoming touches for us. we very much enjoyed our stay and will be returning.

We are big outdoorsy people and have covered two dozens of US National Parks. No doubt, if you are to explore the New River NP THIS IS THE BEST BEST PLACE! Prime location. Quiet.

The cabin is beautiful surrounded by nature. It is as described with the view of the river and close to the Fall and the bridge. The nature around the area is so pristine and calming. The cabin is beautiful with amenities listed. The only disadvantage is not providing internet. Since the cellphone coverage was spotty and the internet on your mobile doesn't work, you might be stuck. However, we found a very cozy coffee shop in Hinton few miles away that had great coffee, nice place to sit and enjoy internet. Overall, great experience in Hinton, West Virginia in Alex's cabin.

This was an excellent stay in Pipestem with a great location very close to many amazing vistas. The hot tub is a great amenity and a stand out for the BnB. The house was clean, organized, and well decorated. The kitchen had a full suite of equipment and there was more than enough for cooking and barbecuing. GPS for this neighborhood can be tricky but there were large door numbers in front of the property that made it easy to find. The hosts were responsive and accommodating, and the custom instructions were fair and reasonable. Absolutely excellent place to stay, would highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy southern West Virginia!
