It was very well equipped, and everything you could possibly need for cooking was provided. Vladimar was kind and welcoming. The location is very quiet but still central, making it easy and convenient to reach a Supermarket and major attractions. We had a fantastic time and would love to come back anytime!

The host's accommodation was really cozy and warm. Tired of the glacier tour, we needed a comfortable accommodation, but octavian's accommodation was the perfect accommodation. I can feel the careful consideration and touch of the host all over the house. Both the kitchen utensils and the fruit are thoughtful of the guest. Thank you! In Iceland I'm taking good memories.

Amazing place. We sat in the hottub at night with - 10 degrees while it was pitch black. A moment we will never forget. The place looked even better than on the pictures. We cooked at the place two nights, the oven is amazing and all the equipment is there. Linda responded very quick and was very nice. Thank you Linda!!

Had a nice time. Super close to the waterfalls. Easy check in and overall a great experience. Would recommend!

The apartment is absolutely sufficient for 2 people and corresponds 100% to the description. It really has everything you need for daily life. An ideal location to see the northern lights without light pollution. Important: as you can see in the photos, it is in the middle of nowhere, so an SUV is recommended. And the nearest supermarket is a 20 minute drive away, as I said you are in the middle of nowhere. However, you can reach many interesting destinations on the south coast and the Golden Circle very easily (max. 1.5 hours by car). So we can recommend the apartment 100%.

Our home away from home. Gudmundur is an exceptional host and the house had everything we needed for our family of six to be comfortable while exploring the beautiful areas nearby. It's within walking distance of the local supermarket, public pools and playgrounds as well some great food options. I would not hesitate to book here again on our future travels through Iceland.

We had an excellent time at Heiða’s place. The unit was tidy and it’s exactly as described in the listing. Heiða was really solicit/thoughtful when we needed her during our staying. It definitely worths every penny.

Great stay and great location for Northern light! Managed to catch the northern light just outside the door!!

Pretty house and recommended to stay during winter. The problem is just the road when going to this house as there are so many holes which will damage your car’s tyres. Other than that is perfectly fine!

We had a lovely stay at Marlene place. We found it an idea location for doing things in the south of the island. It had everything that we needed, and we even got to see a glimpse of the northern lights in-between the clouds on the 1st night, unfortunately for the ret of our stay in Iceland it was cloudy. Marlene communication was spot on, the bed were very comfortable and the place was nice and warm.

A stunning place in the middle of the Icelandic mountains with outstanding views during all day. The place is amazingly cute and cozy and has everything you need and even more. Besides, the host is very helpful and always seeking to ensure you arrive perfectly.. Totally worth the stay! ☺️

The location and the accommodation was just wonderful. It is very secluded and quiet, the outlook onto the surrounding hills very serene and the inside of the Air BnB is very clean and neat. You have the option to cook for yourself or drive to the nearest restaurant, which is not that far off. The windows next to the couch in the livingroom and the bed in the bedroom are looking northwest, so we could watch the northern lights from our bed - absolutely breathtaking. It was a magical stay with lots of stars, rainbows and aurora borealis. I loved it here and I am looking forward to coming back one day!

We had a great experience!! The host was super helpful, responsive and friendly. The place looked exactly as shown on the pictures. Everything was super clean and it had everything that you would need and more. It was the best place to stay after a long day of adventures! We were even able to see the northern lights from the hot tub! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette ferme de la campagne islandaise. C’était appréciable de voir ces animaux autour de nous. Le logement est grand et confortable. Nous le recommanderions avec plaisir.
