Excellent accommodation with everything you'll need for your stay. Very clean and well equipped. Great place to see the northern lights and explore the south of Iceland. We only stayed a couple of nights but would stay again if we were in that part of Iceland again. Loads to see from Hella but don't expect a lively social scene!

Amazing place. We sat in the hottub at night with - 10 degrees while it was pitch black. A moment we will never forget. The place looked even better than on the pictures. We cooked at the place two nights, the oven is amazing and all the equipment is there. Linda responded very quick and was very nice. Thank you Linda!!

Mi experiencia en este alojamiento fue excepcional. Desde el momento en que llegamos, la comunicación con el anfitrión fue fluida y amigable, dándonos todas las indicaciones necesarias para sentirnos como en casa. El espacio estaba impecable, decorado con mucho gusto y perfectamente equipado con todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda y agradable. La ubicación es ideal, cerca de todo lo que necesitábamos, y la tranquilidad del lugar hizo que nuestro descanso fuera perfecto. Nos recibio con chocolates, sopa y pan. Super buena recomendacion si quieres hospedarte en algun sitio en Islandia

Wonderful place to stay, particularly if you are interested in going to the Fontana baths. Less than a 5 minute walk so great to get back 'home' after a long day of driving then walk over to the baths to relax. Place was very comfortable, clean, well appointed and the host is very responsive. Highly recommend!

My group and I had the most amazing time at your home. The location was perfect and near many beautiful places. The house was clean, had everything we could need, and many amenities. If I'm ever in Iceland again, that is the place I will want to stay. Thank you!

Nice place to stay with plenty to see around! I worked remotely here and enjoyed the kitties daily visits on the back porch! In unit laundry was wonderful and having all the appliances I needed- kettle, microwave! Thanks for the great stay!

A fantastic place to stay within the Golden Circle of Iceland; comfortably accommodated my group (composed of 7) and was an ideal spot to call home-base for a couple of days while we explored the surrounding sites. The listing itself is spacious, well-equipped for those looking to cook a meal or two, and provides a truly breathtaking view of the surrounding valley (both day and night). The host was responsive and helpful, providing clear check-in and check-out instructions and guidance.

No regrets!! We had been looking forward to our stay at Rakel and Stefán’s home since we booked it and when we drove up to their home it is so pretty! There are windows in every room of the house which we loved - you can watch the sunrise, sunset and the aurora from all directions it is so pretty 🤍 Their front porch is huge with 2 comfy outdoor chairs which we sat in to watch the aurora that night. Their home also faces a fence and right behind that fence had so many Icelandic horses - they were running in circles during the aurora which was magical!! Their home has all listed amenities + hair conditioner!! (often missed out in other listings) + great heating, we never once felt cold during our stay here~ Do not hesitate - book it and try it out for yourself! Thank you Rakel and Stefán for letting us stay at your beautiful home!

Burma’s beautiful home is ideal for anyone who wants two bathrooms (hard to find in Iceland) and plenty of space. It’s in a quaint small town very close to the Golden Circle and not far from Selfoss, which has more substantial amenities. Easy drive to Gullfoss and Geysir, and a small grocery is within walking distance of the house. The views from the sunroom are beautiful. The kitchen is modern, functional, and spacious. The outdoor area, including the hot tub, is wonderful in the evening. The nearby restaurants, including those in Reykholt, are wonderful! We highly recommend this place for people who want extra space and don’t want to stay in the busy capital city. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Kids enjoyed the most because of the PlayStation .We loved the cute radio playing in the morning during breakfast and the coffee machine was perfect ! We were very comfortable in your house . House was perfect for a family of 4. Also loved the attractions folder . We enjoyed the Mexican food from the food truck company and the ice creams from the local shop. Watched a nice movie together last night . Was home away from home . Thanks a lot .

Jon's place in Flúðir was a delightful surprise! The space was incredibly comfortable and spacious, perfect for exploring the stunning Icelandic countryside. The bathroom was a particular highlight, feeling more like a luxurious 5-star hotel than a vacation rental. The place was fully equipped with everything I needed, making our stay truly hassle-free. Jon was also very responsive and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Maison très agréable pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. Tout le monde peut se trouver un endroit au calme et confortable. Très très bien équipé, décoré et douillet . Quartier calme mais accès rapide à des grands axes Station essence où faire ses petites courses et 1ou 2 restaurants à moins d’un kilomètre

Highly recommended. Everything was very clean and tidy, comfortable for the stay. It is not far from the main road and not difficult to get to.

Great place, good size and well equipped - good to base for some time. Lovely view from the garden with a super-friendly, cute snow dog. Helena was very understanding when we changed our stay to go on a road trip.

Really enjoyed our two night stay, great location for travelling to the east of the country / diamond beach etc. Really nice apartment, very modern and fantastic that there was car chargers for use too! Lovely location and we were lucky enough to spot the Aurora from the deck!

Siggi & Þurý’s place was the perfect spot for us to rest between days in both Diamond Beach area and Vik. The home was spotless and had everything we needed. We were 3 and slept no problem in the space. In addition we cooked dinner both evenings of our stay thanks to a well equipped kitchen. The drive off the Ring Road to the home was very easy and only 5 minutes which was well worth it to get the peace its location delivered. Finally - we thought it was great value compared to others nearby, presumably because its off the Ring Road. But with a great quality road to access, why wouldn’t you? Recommend without hesitation!

Super petit logement, bien placé pour faire le sud de l'île, il est vraiment très bien équipé et très propre ! Le lit pour la 5eme personne est un peu petit pour un grand ado comme les nôtres.
