We really enjoyed staying at Tracey‘s house which is a great starting point for exploring Tongariro National Park! The house is well equipped and very clean.

A perfect little spot for our family to stay whilst road tripping down the North Island. Lucy was very accommodating toward us, and the cabin had everything we needed, including cosy beds, a powerful little heater and a well kitted out little kitchen.

Awesome quiet place to stay. Very warm in the cooler days and bed was very comfy 😊

A compact but well organised space in a lovely garden setting away from town but within easy 10 min drive of town centre and attractions . Rob and Lee share their garden setting with a secluded compact homely spot to enjoy and rest in. I was there for five nights, three on own and felt welcomed, safe and cosseted! My partner came for a couple of nights, and we still managed to cook a basic meal in the kitchen one night and had good Indian takeaways ( spice guru?) another. A little too late in the season to enjoy sitting on porch in an evening, it was nevertheless a relaxing and calm place to return to after a busy day on my course. Generously Provided with fresh eggs from ‘ the girls’ in back yard, vogels bread and fresh feijoas breakfast was well catered for We enjoyed coffee and banter from the riverside cart ‘ the village snob’; a pint/ vino at Rutland arms pub and a wonderful array of art galleries, op shops and antiques to peruse.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful home. Easy process from start to finish. highly recommend and hope to be able to return one day soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Juanitta and Wayne's place. They were very friendly and kind and nothing was too much trouble. The property is really pretty and very peaceful and quiet. The bed was comfy and the bathroom and kitchen spaces were great. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks very much for looking after us!

My motorcycle got cancelled on me so Plan B came into effect. This property is exactly what I needed after I rode my motorcycle to Palmerston North. Great Host, lovely garden with your own reading/coffee nook. The room had everything you needed with a lovely selection of tea/coffee beverages, snacks that I truly appreciated after my ride. I felt at home and I was completely relaxed feet up and enjoyed the company of the dogs and chooks. Thanks team I would definitely rebook.

Nice and quiet place to stay. Ensuite for both bedrooms is handy for couples staying together.

Nice sized single bedroom house on the owner’s property. View over river from the kitchen. For privacy I closed some of the curtains. Overall a peaceful stay. The traffic on the main road didn’t bother me at all. You can walk or run along the river or around the bridges, which is a very nice thing to do.

Natalie had thought of everything we would need, and was very accommodating of out dog which sleeps in our ute. Our one night stay felt easy, hassle free, with just what we needed for a light breakfast. I would definitely recommend staying here and will stay again if passing through Bulls.

We had a wonderful stay an Jannel‘s tiny house. It was perfect to explore the Tongariro national park - just a 30 min to 1h ride to the most important hikes in the park. The proximity to Ohakune was great to quickly get some groceries and take aways. The restaurants were nice! Still, the location of the tiny house 15 min out of town was great to relax and watch stunning sunrises. Jannel and her family were very welcoming and friendly.

Lovely cottage situated in a peaceful setting. It was very comfortable and well equipped including some special treats. Paula and Mark were very responsive hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Beautiful place to stay for our overnight car event at the local Manfield race track. Carol was very warm and welcoming, easy to communicate with, recommended a really good local fish and chips and was accommodating to our late check in and even provided the breakfast essentials! Thank you again :)

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The place had everything we needed. It was a homely stay in a great location. The bedding was beautiful and we had a great sleep. I appreciated all the small touches that made it comfortable. My daughter enjoyed the garden which she thought was adorable.

What a beautiful place! Had everything we needed for our family of four. Set up with gorgeous pre-loved furniture (in immaculate condition!) and very peaceful. I messaged Carol to say we would be arriving late, and she unlocked the door and got the place ready for us in advance, so very thoughtful. We met Carol and her family outside the next day and they even let our kids sit in their digger and try out the pedal car in the garage. They went above and beyond to make it a lovely stay for us. Highly recommended and would absolutely stay again.

Lynne & Laurence are everything I’d expect in A host and more! They are great at communicating super kind and accommodating. Their home is so beautiful and have many amnesties available for guest to use. Thank you for opening up your lovely home to me and my family, you guys are really the best! P.S best brownies we’ve ever tasted, I broke my diet for it and it was very much worth it hehe.

We had such a great 10-day stay at EJ’s place! The space is beautiful, modern, and super comfortable. I loved all the plants and the fresh, clean smell of essential oils throughout the home. The veggie garden out the back is amazing too! It’s in an awesome location — just a short walk to the beach and a play area for the kids. Everything was spotless and felt really welcoming. We would definitely recommend staying here!
