My husband and I had a fabulous week staying in this beautifully renovated, stylish colonial style bungalow. It’s enormous; with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces, as well as a large, manicured garden. A/C throughout the home was much appreciated. We enjoyed the peace of a quiet neighbourhood with natural sounds of birdsong and waves crashing into the beach. The two upstairs balconies were perfect for enjoying sunset aperitives and stargazing. Location was ideal for us; just a short stroll to the beach, restaurants and supermarket. Gayan is a marvellous host and very friendly; he's always available to promptly tend to any queries. Many thanks to our smily housekeeper Iresh for his diligent efforts to present the house immaculately, and those sweet touches like vases of fresh flowers in every room and chilled watermelon juice upon arrival. The Old Dutch is the cleanest and most comfortable accomodation we stayed at in SriLanka. We look forward to returning....

the best stay in Sri Lanka. if you want to feel the nature and power of the ocean you have to live here for a few days. the sound of the ocean was fantastic, the house was clean and equipped. the hosts were very nice and helpful, they even did the laundry! definitely 10/10

This place has a great location if you want to have the Hiriketiya beach in walking distance, it takes only a few minutes. Many restaurants and some small shops also in walking distance. Easy access to the Dicwella town by bus or TucTuc. In the same time the place has nice calm and quiet environment. Hot water, great space for the whole family and we had a good sleep there. The owner and his family are lovely and welcoming people and they shared with us fresh fish and fruit and provided the tank with drinking water so we didn't have to buy the plastic bottles👍, absolutely great and appreciated 👍 Thank you and we will come back

Nous avons passé une dernière semaine dans le sud lors de notre voyage au Sri Lanka dans cette très belle villa à l’image des photos. L’emplacement est exceptionnel, on ne peut pas être plus près de la mer ! L’intérieur est très beau et bien soigné. C’est magnifique ! Un autre intérêt est son emplacement, à quelques minutes en Tuck Tuck de nombreux restaurants et d’autres attractions dans le sud. J’ai particulièrement aimé le petit restaurant en sortant de la villa, le deuxième à droite. Le propriétaire est adorable, les plats et jus frais excellents et il peut vous les apporter. Pour les Tuck Tuck, accessibles également à quelques mètres de la maison. Pour le taxi, je recommande Onila Preethiraj indiqué par notre aimable hôte. Excellentes vacances ici

Heel fijn verblijf gehad hier, ik raad het zeker aan! Wij hebben wel nooit warm water gehad (ik vermoed misschien door het slechte weer) en de wifi werkte bij ons ook niet goed. Voor de rest alles perfect, heel goede locatie en vriendelijke gastheer, aangenaam zwembad.

We have just left Khouse after 3 nights as a large family of mixed cultures (12 adults and 3 young kids). Khouse was the perfect choice for us to spend relaxed quality time together. The 2 properties both with 3 bedrooms each situated close by to one another provided flexible accommodation with just the right balance of closeness and space. With the use of 2 extra beds for the kids it was perfect. The buildings are beautiful. The shadey garden is full of nature and large; affording space to safely play and the pool has a great shallow area for the pre-schoolers. The beach is lovely for exploring, digging, rock pooling (with shoes) but not for swimming, although you can snorkel early morning. The staff are friendly and accommodating, they cannot do enough for you. They have a small kitchen and only 1 chef so catering for a large group can be complicated this is not a hotel but we appreciated every effort they made even adding extra guests for a special meal. Right from check in, and all throughout our stay, he was ensuring we were satisfied with our stay. Vindika assisted in birthday celebrations for my partner which was so amazing. He and his team were so responsive and ensured the property and garden were cleaned when required. The property itself is perfectly located albeit off a slightly secluded street. 5 minutes walking distance to many restaurants and cafes including Doctor's House and Swell Cafe. Also, Mirissa, Weligama, Ahangama are all a short TukTuk/Taxi ride away. The property is ideal for couples who are looking to relax after a day in the sun, or exploring what Sri Lanka has to offer. If you are thinking of visiting the South of Sri Lanka, this is quite possibly the most ideal stay for that location. Thank you again Vindika!

Traumhaft schöne und nicht weit von einem tollen Strand mit einem gut kleinen Restaurant wo man mit den Füssen im Sand ist. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, gross und eine wunderschöne Aussicht.
