Myself, husband and 19month old recently stayed here and found it to be absolutely perfect for our first family holiday. The apartment was spotless. Location was perfect- 10 minute walk to beach, shops, restaurants etc. The beds were extremely comfortable and my son's travel cot was made up with nice linen and ready for our arrival. We always travel with stick on blackout blinds however these weren't needed as the apartment has blackout shutters which also made us feel extremely safe. There was plenty of crockery and kitchen appliances. The pools were great and plenty of sun loungers for use. It was also extremely helpful that there was a washing machine and drying rack when travelling with children. The apartment had plenty of space for us and a lovely dining table to enjoy meals plus a high chair. There was a small kids play area next to the pool which was good too. We highly recommend this apartment.

During a 2 1/2 week swing through Portugal, we used this space as a base to explore several Algarve beaches. The stay matched our expectation and we were particularly pleased with the nice touches of: a heater on the unusually cold March nights; two really functional cutting boards; a funky but functional coffee maker; and the graceful and friendly host and hostess. Guests should be aware that there is not parking right at the space, and the old winding cobblestone streets made the apartment initially difficult to find, but for us these only added to the charm of the place. Excellent local restaurant, the Den, serves really great pizza and salads!

I cannot recommend this apartment enough, we would definitely stay here again! It's a gorgeous high-end unit with lots of natural light and several patios, very spacious and tastefully decorated. The hosts were wonderful and sent very clear check-in instructions ahead of time along with some good recommendations for local restaurants. They responded to messages very promptly and showed up right away to fix a lightbulb that had burned out during our stay. The area is very walkable, only about a 5-10 minute walk to the main bus station and Lagos Old Town with some good restaurants and cafes close by. Highly recommend this spot to anyone staying in Lagos!

Superb upscale apartment with everything you’d need. Very quiet area but only a few minutes walk to the beach and about 25 minutes walk/6 euro taxi to town. Kotryna is a very good and helpful host with proactive and fast communication. The apartment was spotless, very spacious and has fabulous sea views, great outdoor space and pool. Lovely to come back to after a day at the beach and have a drink on the terrace which gets the sun til 7 pm ( mid September). We would definitely return. No hesitation to recommend.

J’ai adoré le séjour, l’appartement est parfait, il y a toutes les commodités nécessaires. Les installations de l’immeuble (pizcines, hammam, sauna, etc..) sont un grand +. David est très gentil et toujours disponible en cas de besoin. Je recommande fortement !! Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Een zeer comfortabel, modern appartement. Komt zeker in onze top 3 te staan. Centrum en strand is op loopafstand. Een heerlijk 2 persoonsbed en voldoende schone handdoeken. Echt een topper. Ook fijn dat er verschillende grote supermarkten in de buurt zijn.

everything was perfect, and pretty much as on the pictures, and described. very complete house. christelle was always responsive and helpful, and Silvia who is available in Bordeira for any issues/ questions, was the best - and we were always happy when we ran into her. there is an awesome local cafe nearby with good food, drinks and the most welcoming people we have met in a while. in the end we extended our stay a bit :) the location is top. it is quiet but many hot spots are easy to access (Lagos, Sagres, Aljezur, Alentejo, monchique..)... an incredible amount of beaches are close by. from the house you can access many trekking paths, and beautiful viewing points are right around. highly recommend a stay!

Wir haben eine Woche in dieser schönen Unterkunft verbracht. Die Unterkunft ist neu (seit August 2024) und hat noch einige Macken. Als es geregnet hat war es etwas feucht, der Strom ist 2x ausgefallen, etc. Doch egal was war, Francisca hat alles möglich gemacht um uns einen perfekten Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Als z.B. der Strom ausgefallen ist war sie innerhalb von 5 Minuten da um es wieder in Ordnung zu bringen. Sie ist ein wahres Juwel und wird alles dafür geben, dass man einen super Aufenthalt hat. Wir haben unsere Woche in der Wohnung auf jeden Fall sehr genossen. Fußläufig sind einige schöne Restaurants und der Arrifana Strand erreichbar.

Our stay with Warren was absolutely lovely! Everything matched the description perfectly and even exceeded our expectations. The Airbnb was clean and comfortable, with a modern bathroom and an extra toilet in the utility room, which was very convenient. The location is ideal – just 10-15 minutes to get to Lagos, yet the area was quiet. The outdoor area was a highlight; we used it a lot and had complete privacy. We also never had any issues finding a parking spot nearby. Warren was a fantastic host, very friendly, and communication was always quick and easy. We highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at Maike’s and Jen’s AirBnB. Our trip was slightly delayed, and Maike (and manager Sandra) were very patient and accommodating. The accommodation was clean, and well stocked. Everything one could hope for. The location was fantastic, and access to the beach and hiking trail was extremely convenient. We also enjoyed evening swims in the pool!! The property and landscaping was also beautiful. You will love your stay here! Mat

Ich hatte einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung in Lagos. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und sehr zentral. Man erreicht sowohl die Altstadt als auch die Strände in der Umgebung gut zu Fuß. Vitor antwortete immer schnell über den Chat und erkundigte sich regelmäßig, ob ich etwas brauche. Ich kann die Wohnung sehr empfehlen.

We had an incredible stay at Casa Irene—it felt like a home away from home. The house was the perfect retreat to relax and recharge in a peaceful town, while still being close enough to Lagos town center to easily enjoy its vibrant dining options. The beach was also just a short trip away, which is lined with several dining options too (Bar Quim being a new favourite of mine for their prawns, recommended by Jenna). Casa Irene's attention to detail made all the difference. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and Jenna thoughtfully provided extras (like Tupperware, cooler boxes, filtered water, ice packs, and more—perfect for beach days). Every element, from the decor to the thoughtful amenities, was spot on. Highly recommend Casa Irene to anyone looking for a blend of tranquility, convenience, and comfort. Can't wait to return!

Lovely apartment with great terrace. Hosts were nice and responsive. The location is close to everything! For anyone who is mobility impaired, the apartment is all on the first level, including the terrace! But the apartment is up a hill on one side and stairs on the other. We made it work with our stroller but just wanted to flag for others.

Jorge’s place was really a home away from home especially with our three little girls (5, 4, 1.5 years old). Our girls loved the two bunkbeds. It was spacious, super clean & the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you’d need to cook meals but also walkable to many beaches and restaurants; however one of our favourites was the restaurant just below the building! We loved the beach behind the building as well which was only a few minutes walk. We didn’t end up using the pools in the facility but everything looked great! Jorge himself was very responsive, professional and definitely a superhost helping us check-in as we booked this Airbnb very last minutes and got there later in the evening. The shampoo and conditioner in the showers were nicer than the ones I have at home. I highly recommend this place and we would definitely stay here again when we come back to Portugal in the future. El apartamento está situado en una zona tranquila. Se encuentra cerca de la playa, de la Marina y del casco viejo de Lagos. Todo estaba muy ordenado, bien equipado y limpio. Pedro fue un anfitrión muy agradable y la comunicación fue rápida y fluida. También nos dio indicaciones sobre puntos de interés.

Ficámos no apartamento uma semana, boas condições gerais, perto da praia e com piscinas no complexo. Fomos em Setembro, zona muito calma e óptima para aproveitar o verão. As fotografias e descrição do local correspondem, nada a apontar.

We had an amazing time. The apartment is cosy and comfortable. It is close the beach, restaurants and stores. We could see ocean from the balcony. I am happy that we chose this apartment. Thank you Robin.

Joana and her co-hosts sure know how to do an Airbnb! It was an amazing space that really thought of everything. Our baby loved all the little toys. It was about a 10 minute walk to old town which was nice to be off the main drag a bit. Thank so much for a wonderful stay!

Loved staying at this apartment. It was clean, walkable to the beach, cafes, local restaurants , and within a 10-20 minute drive to all the more hidden less touristy beaches. It was a perfect landing spot. To give A little context : we had to leave two Airbnbs prior to this because of terrible mold /dampness issues and it was a nice respite to finally find a healthy home. Thank you!

Ivan’s place is really spatious, the location is great - a few minutes of walk from the old town. The accomodation has everything that is needed, the check-in process is easy, Ivan is a communicative and friendly host. Can recommend!
