Our stay Brandy’s was great! We had no complaints at all, great house, hot tub was awesome, beds were comfy, showers were hot, everything was noticeably cleaned well, there was also s’more stuff left for us which was awesome. The house’s location was very private which was also great. Very nice place I’d definitely recommend to anyone interested in the house or area, we went to the caverns and stake parks and down town areas near by and it was all very lovely!!

Wonderful weekend stay right on the river. Easy access to the hazel river, Shenandoah national park, as well as some short trails right on the property. Spectacular views from every window and multiple decks. It’s easy to sit and read a book while listening to the peaceful sounds. This property is beautiful with everything you need to feel right at home. It felt more like a home than a rental property. It was well decorated and somewhere you actually want to spend time vs drop your stuff and head out. We enjoyed our stay, and plan to return.

We have been to a number of rentals, both Airbnb and others, both in the U.S. and abroad. Walnut Run Farm is BY FAR the warmest, most welcoming, most perfect rental we have ever been to. If the property were for sale we would buy it in a minute, even as we much hope John will continue to keep and care for it for many years as the treasure it is. In renting John's home (and it is absolutely and in every sense a home), you have the chance to live in an extraordinary country house on a large, beautiful piece of idyllic Virginia Piedmont farmland. If you can score a rental at Walnut Run Farm, grab it.

Beautiful countryside and lovely renovated farm house that captured rural life. Peaceful and very relaxing with a stream flowing near the edge of the property along with cows feeding beyond a wooden fence. We enjoyed several evenings by the fire pit in the Adirondack chairs. We also enjoyed the hot tub on a couple of occasions. We fixed all of our meals on property including using the gas barbecue grill one evening. It was great having a dishwasher and a walk-in pantry to store all our groceries. We hiked 4 days in the Shenandoah National Park and appreciated having a washer and dryer on site. The three beds were quite comfortable. The two full baths, each with a shower, were quite nice and my wife enjoyed soaking in the large tub one night. Would definitely stay at this location again.

A Dream Getaway – The Perfect Proposal Spot! Anita’s place was an absolute dream! I chose this stunning retreat to propose to my girlfriend, and everything - from the breathtaking views to the cozy home was pure magic. The hot tub overlooking the mountains was straight out of a fairytale, and the fire pit with panoramic views created the most romantic setting for our special moment. Everything about this stay was pure perfection, and it made our proposal truly unforgettable. Beyond that, our entire group had an amazing time relaxing, laughing, and enjoying the serene surroundings. It was an experience we will cherish forever, and we are already looking forward to returning someday! Tip: A 4WD vehicle is highly recommended for the incline gravel roads leading up to the property. Anita, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. It will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Wide Pine is truly a treasure! One of the most beautiful and well appointed Airbnb’s I have stayed in. Everything from the beautiful wood floors and open airy design of the house, to the thoughtful added touches like an espresso machine and robes in all the bathrooms and bedrooms made our stay feel above the rest. The setting is peaceful and private, we enjoyed long walks through the trails in the woods, and sitting in the sun on the deck. The house is cozy, comfortable, and has everything (and more!) to meet all of our needs! We would absolutely stay here again!

Elena’s house is beautiful! We could not have asked for a cozier place to spend with family during the winter. It is a well situated property surrounded views of the mountains and fun activities. The sleeping conditions were comfortable as well as the living spaces. Elena was a fantastic host- easy going and flexible.

Very beautiful air bnb is a house with great views I have nothing to complain about it was a great weekend with my friends recommended to get away from the daily routine of work and to spend a great weekend with friends and family thanks for everything❤️❤️❤️

This was not our first time staying here. Our host, Judy, is friendly, responsive, and just overall nice. We will be staying here again.

Cindy’s garage apartment was beautiful and well-stocked with all of the snacks and basics we could need. There’s even a dog washing station in the garage, and an electric car charger should you need. She provides a $25 gift certificate each night stayed to a local vineyard, brewery to restaurant, and there are many to choose from just a short 5-10 minute drive from the Airbnb! It was peak foliage when we went, and we had dinner at Magnolias at the Mill. We also checked out Bluemont Station Winery & Brewery, Bluemont Vineyard, Great Country Farms, Dirt Farm Brewing, and More Better (highly recommend!). All of these places were beautiful, dog-friendly and a short drive! If you are a light sleeper or want to sleep in, bring an eye mask as there is a large skylight right over the bed!

We had a really nice stay at Cindy’s Airbnb! Beds and linens were very comfortable, everything was super clean, and we had plenty of space. Lovely space!

We’re an outdoorsy family and we all loved our stay in Glenn’s home, right by the water with easy to launch area for the kayaks, no light pollution at night to watch a blanket of stars in the sky. Our fur baby loved it just as much and took a liking to Glenn. Thank you and hope to be back this summer!!!

This is our third time staying here! Perfect weekend getaway location to hike, see the stars, and enjoy the company of friends.

Sara's place is comfortable, beautifully decorated, and walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. The firepit outside was a bonus for me to enjoy the night sky. Would highly recommend! One tip, if you are a light sleeper, recommend bringing some ear plugs since the house is next to the railroad tracks and trains sometimes come by at random hours of the night.

Have just spent the best two nights at The Nest. A perfect retreat to refresh, rest and revitalize. The location is beautiful, serene and private. The interior is cosy and just so inviting. The photos do not do this apartment justice. Beautifully decorated from top to toe with everything you could possibly need for the happy few days that await you. Incredibly comfortable bed, super shower and TV. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout (including many snacks!) which it became fun to find. And for me, to be able to open windows to smell the fresh mountain air and listen to the many birds on property was priceless. Meeting Kay (the host), her husband Joe, and their band of dogs was a real pleasure. Such great people who leave you to yourself but always available for questions. It was so difficult to leave I’ve already booked a return visit which says it all. 10 stars all round!

I booked a night's stay at Trace's listing for my wife and her sister to get away for a spa day at nearby Salamander Resort. Trace gave me a full list of dining recommendations for the ladies and left a nice bag of local made cookies for them to enjoy. The location is perfect for those looking to visit Middleburg/Salamander resort without paying the obscene prices for overnight stays at the resort itself. Thanks Trace!

My family loved this house. It was cozy and just the right size for our small family. The views are gorgeous and the hot tub was amazing. The kitchen is fully stocked and Eugene is super responsive. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful experience! The yurt is lovely and so well cleaned and cared for. The views are so peaceful. Douglas was very communicative and recommend a most wonderful hike!

Daniel was the most commutative and friendly host! he answered all of our questions and the stay was absolutely astounding! when you ride into the place on the gravel road, once you get to the private fence in the front that leads to the tiny home, you are totally captivated. it looks like a picture out of a magazine. The space is incredibly large and the trails were so calm and peaceful to walk with our dog. we really enjoyed ourselves. the home itself was comfortable. have all the amenities that you need. we would definitely be coming back again. we enjoyed our experience and the hot tub, start getting that done early so you can enjoy it for the whole trip that you were there.

This was a great find. Peaceful and secluded with all the amenities you could ever need from a jacuzzi tub to a fire-pit to a grill to a hot tub to a fully loaded kitchen! Upon arrival, we were stoked to find the cabin looked exactly like the photos and it was impeccably clean! My wife and I really enjoyed the serenity while still being close enough to the Shenandoah National Park with amazing hiking trails and mountain views. Corey was an amazing host; super friendly, responsive, and quick with local recommendations upon request. 10/10 would visit again!

My family and I had a nice stay at Kayla’s cabin. The place looks just like the pictures. She was very attentive and responsive. Kayla gave great instructions for things around the cabin, directions getting there and things to be aware of. The Cabin is located near the end of the road up a mountain a bit but not too far up. There are neighbors nearby but I never saw anyone. Overall pretty private and definitely quiet. Jacuzzi was great and fire pit is legit. There is a nice view of front royal off in the distance at night too.

Precisely as advertised, peaceful and quiet. Don’t trust your GPS, use the directions they give you.

We really enjoyed the cozy cottage. The surrandings were beautiful. The hot tub was a great addition. Nice size and very clean. The cottage is a great place for a family get away. I will return. Thankyou so much for wverything.

The cabin is very nice. The host communicates very well and provides detailed instructions that will make your trip very easy. Its like going to your own house. Everything was clean, available and orderly. Very nice cabin and we enjoyed it very much. The drive up to the cabin is trecherous. They offer a vehicle for the drive up which is awesome and I recommend using it. We had dry weather for our trip and used our 2023 chevy blazer. It made it, but was stressful and would not have if it had rained. Take a truck or take advantage of their SUV. You need some ground clearence to get up the drive safetly. Absolutly worth every penny. Great place with spectacular views!!
