Beautiful and relaxing place. We stayed there for a family wedding in Richmond. It gave us a place for our family to relax and enjoy our down time. The bunk room consists of 6 comfortable queen beds! The house decor is beautiful and very inviting. There was a goodie tray with snacks when we arrived which was a sweet touch. The appliances are new and very clean. The beds were all very comfortable. Highly recommend if you have a large family.

What an amazing experience we are from Kansas City. And it was just a short drive for us to feel like we were somewhere else far away. The kayaks, the paddle boats. The fishing rods. Everything was at our disposal. Our family will never forget this experience. We enjoyed it. Five stars for sure.

Wow. Oasis of a resort. The structures are all unique and have character beyond, while each has complete privacy. Easy to get to Kansas City, private location to hike, fish, relax. The lake is beautiful and calming with swimming when available and kayaking. I will be back on the regular, as well as request a family get away, couples date, or company team building retreat. Something for everyone.

We had an amazing weekend with our niece at this beautiful Airbnb. The hosts were fantastic and even let our niece pet and feed the horses with them! It was so special and made her whole weekend! We also ordered a quiche and cinnamon rolls for breakfast and they were heavenly! Super clean and comfortable space. Highly suggest this beautiful and peaceful place for a wonderful getaway!

5 Stars - Amazing Glamping Experience! Our stay at Melissa’s tipi glamping site in Missouri was absolutely magical! From the moment we arrived, we felt immersed in nature while still enjoying the perfect balance of comfort and adventure. The tipi was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a cozy stay. The surrounding area was peaceful and secluded, providing the perfect escape from city life. Melissa was an exceptional host—attentive, kind, and quick to respond to any questions we had. She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the attention to detail, from the fire pit to the comfy beds—it truly felt like a one-of-a-kind experience. If you’re looking for a unique, serene getaway, this is the place. Adorable room with lovely furnishings! It was very clean, and it was nice to find "real" towels instead of the typical thin, rough towels that are often used by hotels. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the soundproofing was good. I was there during a heavy rain storm and I would not have known it without looking outside. Thanks for a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay!

A quaint gem. Vintage shabby chic interior was a change of pace from the modern decor of most rentals. Love the place! Carol also made us a home cooked breakfast which was over-the-top and delicious. I would definitely stay here again!

I’ve been here before and I love it it’s so nice to chill and relax. Rhonda went above and beyond and got us hooked up with a fire pit that night we came in after a long stressful trip. We got to hear scratch owls, coyotes, crickets, frogs and some other animals we couldn’t make out for sure. Super quiet and relaxing, my favorite place in Missouri and the only place I’ll go to when I’m headed through the state :)
