The minute we walked in, we were daydreaming about having a place of our own just like this. The cabin is beautiful and such a great layout for a group weekend. The surrounding acres are beautiful and peaceful - totally secluded. Never saw another car heading our way. The amenities are just what we needed. From dishes and utensils to games and bedding and, of course, the hot tub and sauna. They were great for a winter weekend getaway. We came for a snowmobiling weekend and, unfortunately, there was no snow. But we left saying this was still one of the best getaways we’ve had - specifically because of this Little Lazy Lodge and all of Ashley’s help!

We absolutely loved our time at the cabin! It was very peaceful and private. It was everything we thought it would be and more. Will be recommending this to friends & family and would come back again!

We will definitely be coming back!! This resort is a gem. It’s located on a beautiful point on a clear, quiet lake. The cabins were recently renovated and adorably decorated while still maintaining a feeling of nostalgia and a quaint cabin feeling. The pictures don’t do it justice. You feel like you’re on a boat staring out the cabin window because the water is so close. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They also have provided everything you would need for a fun, family getaway-games, sports equipment, a playground, a fun communal gathering space with a store, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, etc.

We would stay again in a heartbeat! The spotless rooms seemed larger than the photos. The beds, furniture and deck are comfortable. We were 4 adults and two preschoolers and it worked for everyone. Although there are many cabins on the lake, it was very quiet during our visit. Swimming and water play were the main focus for us, but we did catch a few fish, too! The dock is large and perfect, and the lake clean. We launched our boat across the lake and docked it. So much was provided in the way of toys! Allison was a wonderful host and offered tons of details, tips and was immediately responsive to questions. Because we were there later in August, some of the advertised children’s events in town had ended for the season, but with so much to do at the cabin, we didn’t miss it. We preferred sitting amongst the tall pines, having a fire, and watching the full moon over the lake while listening to the loons! Little touches, such as homemade fire starters made life easy! We had a lot of fun staying at this place. With being in the bay it is very quiet from the rest of the lake. The hot tub is wonderful and cool to see the lake as well. The stairs and deck can be slippery with kids so be careful.

This was my first experience doing a mini vacation for myself and I picked the absolute perfect location. It wasn’t around a ton of other cabins and only 14ish minutes from town if I needed anything. I will absolutely tell everyone in my life about this and encourage them to choose this cabin. Definitely will be doing this again.

Perfect stay and perfect price for an overnight. Tiffany was very nice and easy to work with. The cabin was clean and bed was comfortable.

We very much enjoyed staying at Saronna's place. She was an attentive host and we felt prepared to not only find and access the cabin but also to get in. The Cabin is perfect and has so much outdoor space to enjoy! We definitely want to come back to this hidden gem.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this lakeside cabin. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The lake was peaceful and serene, great for boating on the included pontoon boat or simply enjoying the natural beauty of the lake. Our kids loved exploring the shoreline and fishing off the dock. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a tranquil family vacation.

We enjoyed a great weekend with a group of 6 friends. Jana’s place was roomy with different areas to gather. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The cabin is close to Walker, Leech Lake and Itasca State Park. We had a great time and highly recommend staying with Jana!

Great cabin and great service. The place is amazing, the cabin is dreamy. If you like an adventure in the northern woods, like to fish, hunt or hike this is the place to be. Annette was fantastic and super communicative and responsive.

Our family enjoyed a relaxing getaway and spent time snowshoeing around the property on the trails. Peaceful and quiet space.

A perfect place for our family of 5 and my parents to spend a long weekend. The beach area was great for the kids, and they enjoyed tubing behind the pontoon. Christine was a great host and even let us borrow her lilly pad for the kids to play on. The beds were super comfy and we had everything we needed as far as amenities. We’ll be back next summer for sure!

Loved everything about this place. Beds were comfortable! My kids enjoyed catching fish right off of the dock, and on the other multiple fishing spots on the lot. It was also nice to have a fishing boat to use. The cabin was adorable. Perfect Minnesota touches with the decor. We came up north to spread Nana’s ashes in Grand Rapids, and we made a vacation out of it. Memories were made here, as Nana would have wanted.

This was my second stay here. Check-in was a breeze, the cabin was well stocked and clean. Pretty much everything you would need was supplied as far as cooking and eating needs were concerned. We had a very comfortable stay. The host communicated very well and promptly. 5 stars all away around

We had a great time. I’ve never stayed in an Airbnb so well equipped. It was extremely easy and comfortable and so much fun for our whole family Definitely recommend in all seasons.

This cabin was wonderful! We felt right at home. So many fun little touches like a s’mores kit, fun color changing fire bag, games, tons of buckets and shovels for the beach. We loved the yard and ability to eat every meal outside right on the porch looking at the lake. The kids LOVED the ninja line, fishing from the dock, bouncing on the water bouncer, playing in the sand and walking down the street to visit cows. This was the most well stocked places we have ever stayed at! Michael was very quick to respond when we had a couple of questions. We also highly recommend two inlets resort if wanting to rent a boat, they were so friendly and easy to work with! Thanks Michael for a great place to stay and relax!!

Bob and Nicole have a wonderful cabin in a lovely spot on a fantastic lake, and to boot are extremely hospitable hosts. They clearly have every detail down, communicate well, and are very friendly. This is a place I can very easily see booking again if possible. Very much enjoyed the stay, highly recommended.

James and Kayla couldn’t be better hosts! They were so kind, caring and accommodating. The house was fabulous and activities on the lake were so great for the kids! Lots of family fun and quality down time. We will absolutely be back.

This is a perfect north woods getaway! The cabin is a great mix of old and new. The lot is exquisite — studded with mature pines. My favorite part is the sauna — steps from the lake! Bass Lake is very quiet so enjoy and relax!

Very peaceful lakeside retreat. We were the only guests present and enjoyed the solitude. The cabin was cozy with complimentary firewood for the firepit outside and a propane grill. We especially liked the sheltered porch during autumn rains and the fact that the cabin was out of the wind. Bath house was comfortably heated with hot showers despite the late season. Lots of little details, like a boardwalk over the Bog, made exploring fun. Heater quickly warmed the cabin and could be turned off for long periods. Good selection of books. My dog loved it since nobody else was around and she could explore also. If there'd been other guests, she would have been on a lead. Very happy we came in the off season! Close to 3 state parks so I could whittle down my passport book and make my mother hobble across the Mississippi for her birthday :)
