Joseph went above and beyond to help my group and I out when another Airbnb fell through for us last minute. Maybe that was a blessing in disguise, as within three hours, the place was ready to go. The house itself was fantastic and well located. The views outside are beautiful, and the balcony was a great place to sit and watch the world go by. The bathrooms were immaculate. There was a comfortable amount of supplies available (detergent, toilet paper, kitchen supplies incl cutlery, etc). The complimentary chips, wine, bread, and fruits were a delightful touch. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful time for a 30th birthday weekend. Proximity to Brown Lake and the ferry were important for us. The view is even better than the photos and Kate is an excellent and friendly host. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful spot. Big enough for all of us (2 adults and 4 kids) Walking distance to great restaurants, fish and chip shop and boardwalk. Woolies is also only a short walk away.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stuart's Eclectic home. When we arrived we were greeted by a kangaroo in the back yard and had multiple bouncy visitors throughout our stay, as well as some beautiful kookaburras and curlews. It's so close to all the beaches and shops and walking trails, we walked or rode our bikes predominantly. Had a heatwave while we were there so the house was warm in the upstairs living areas in the afternoon as others have mentioned. A great comfortable beach shack and a lovely way to experience the beauty of what Stradbroke Island has on offer.

Such a fantastic stay at this beautiful home that looked even better than the photos. Walkable to the beach and straddie hotel and so well appointed, only wish we had booked for a longer stay!! A thoughtful and comfortable property with everything you could need.

The cottage is one street back from the beach, and close to all amenities. It has everything you might need. The kitchen is fully kitted out with appliances, pans and utensils. High enough on the hill and with plenty of windows to catch the sea breezes, and close enough to hear the waves. It is comfortable, cosy, breezy and well positioned, perfect for our Straddie interlude. Certainly a place we will go back to.

Staying at Kristin’s is a perfect place for peace, relaxation and easy fast access to a truly magnificent beach (Home Beach, no lifeguards but a safe lagoon) and short walk to wonderful Cylinder (lifeguards). The surroundings are so peaceful. Great place to chill, read, room to eat indoors and out. Good facilitator cooking. Great for a family or group of friends. Highly recommend. Cafe on site we did not use this time but heard from locals is good. Kristen was really responsive, excellent host.
