We loved the quiet serenity of Sara's place. The acorn woodpeckers were out in the trees to greet us in the morning and the views from the deck were of misty mountains and ancient trees. The space was beautifully appointed and comfortable, with all the utensils and cooking needs we could require. Sara greeted us in person to show us around and ensure that we had a good stay. I would definitely come back to this haven.

We had a peaceful and restful stay at Johnna’s place. The home is located in an isolated area among the trees. There is not much to do in the area and it rained our entire stay. However we were content to stay inside and relax. There are games and books available. The tv and wifi service are spotty but that’s to be expected being so far out. The home is comfortable and cozy. And we had plenty of space and everything we needed. We would highly recommend Johnna’s home.

One of the top three places we have stayed in our many years of renting via Airbnb! The location is spectacular, you really don't have to go anywhere. But if you do, you can walk to Black Sand Beach from the house. There are several other places of interesting in the small town of Shelter Cove, including tidal pools, seal and sea lion watching, small nature trails to hike, and several places to eat. On a final note, Mermaid View (the house) is very clean, beds are comfortable, kitchen has the basic necessities, showers are great, and the view is a 10 out of 10. Just go, you will not regret it! We definitely hope to be back in the near future.

Amazing stay! By far the cleanest rental I’ve stayed in. The host was very communicative and helpful. The area is gorgeous, lots of nature to explore. Roads are rough getting there so make sure you are driving a vehicle that is good for that.

This is our 3rd time staying here. The hosts are incredibly responsive. The cookies are amazing. The location is epic.

This is a great private place to stay in a beautiful area! We enjoyed the rustic feel and Robert was a great host.

Neptune's Nest was perfect for our family of five. The main space is a real treat. It's where we spent all our time: cooking, eating, reading, playing board games and mostly looking out at the ocean. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped without any accumulated clutter. At night all you can hear are the waves and we lucked out with great stars the first couple nights. The kids had fun watching the planes take off and the hikes nearby are superb if you are comfortable on the roads. Nobody wanted to leave.

Beautiful space! Location was great, home was comfortable and provided us with everything we needed. Shelter Cove is a hidden gem and Aaron’s place was a great place to stay!
