We had a beautiful time at this cottage in the winter. Perfect for a group of girlfriends. We loved the fireplace and candles and the view from the hot tub was so serene. We were pleasantly surprised by the prompt snow clearing that made access much easier. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The kitchen had everything we needed and the local coffee was such a nice touch. Thank you so much for hosting, Holly and Thomas (and Kiwi)!

This was our second stay, and we already hope to return! Alison is an amazing host—responsive, friendly, and thoughtful. She even put out food to attract deer, and we loved watching them (along with spectacular bird watching from multiple spots). The Airbnb itself is immaculate, well-stocked, and has everything you could need. The shower is pure luxury! Highly recommend for a peaceful, comfortable getaway. 5 stars all around! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Difficile d’ajouter quelque chose qui n’ait déjà été dit sur cet endroit de rêve. Tout est absolument parfait, idéal, enchanteur : Julia et Will sont les hôtes idéaux, leur domaine un paradis presque irréel, la cabane digne des plus luxueux endroits et sourcé localement (tout le matériel est d’une qualité superbe, du nacre des couteaux au matelas au plaid !). Les repas (petit déjeuner inclus, dîner sur demande) sont eux aussi dignes des plus fins restaurants. Julia et Will respectent et célèbrent leurs hôtes comme rarement (jamais ?) vu.

Thanks for letting us stay at your place. The place was beautiful. Private feeling and with lots of stuff to do at the cottage and on the water. Great place to bring your dogs as well!

We had a really great time at the cottage. Everything was very clean and organized and it felt very homey. Stephanie was very flexible and responsive. The place had everything and more that we needed. I will definitely recommend it to large groups. We will definitely be back.

Location was perfect for a weekend away! Cottage was stunning, extremely clean and organized the pictures don’t do it justice. The linens, beds, furniture, hottub, sauna, everything was well kept. The kitchen was fully stocked of every appliance and kitten tool we may need during our stay. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this Airbnb. We had the most relaxing weekend ever!

An excellent little A-frame! A great place to get away and relax. Everything was clean, and the hottub, fireplace, and stove all ready and easy to use. Boardgames and movie projector offer fun indoor activities. The property also has enough room for short walks in the forest. It looks like they are in the process of adding additional cabins close to cabins #3 and #4.

Logement conforme aux descriptifs de l’annonce. Grands espaces (Nous étions 10 adultes). Larges chambres avec une lingerie très propre, grands espaces de vie avec une table ronde propice au repas familial. Et surtout un patio qui fait le tour de la maison, nous avons pu nous détendre, jouer aux cartes et jeux de société tout en profitant des paysages extérieurs. Les propriétaires sont très réactifs à toute demande. Je recommande vivement cette maison.

This place is so cute! the perfect winter getaway. Jessica was very gracious with check out during a storm, it really put our minds at ease. We really want to see this place in the summer, so we already booked our dates!

Very nice place

We stayed at the Skoot Cabin from Dec 26-30 with our dog and friend from New York. Everyone had an easy time getting to the place and getting in. Once inside, it was really hard to want to leave such a cozy space in the winter. The wood burning stove was an absolute highlight and kept us warm throughout the stay. The place itself had everything we needed and the area around the cabin was perfect for our dog to explore and run around. Kate was super helpful and responsive and provided us with all the info on the place. Can’t say enough good things about this cabin and location and our friend was very impressed with this Canadian experience! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Christopher’s cottage was an absolute gem! Christopher is super responsive and provides great advice to explore the surrounding area. The place was stunning and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the trails, and the sauna was a great way to relax. We had a blast!

Don's quaint, rustic cottage in a very private setting was just what we were looking for. It's perfect for a couple. For late October, the colours were still glorious, and the space was cozy. Don was very kind, and he even left a card and some treats in the fridge for us in honour of our anniversary. If you're looking to disconnect and find some tranquility, this is the place!

Cozy cabin, beautiful property to snowshoe, and the sauna was great. The main house is a little too close to the cabin, but the hosts were very respectful, and privacy was ok, it all worked out great.

On a loué ce merveilleux chalet pour la semaine de relâche. Très spacieux et bien aménagé. Parfait pour un gros groupe. Beaucoup d’activités et de jeux sur place. Nos adolescents et leurs amis/es ont adoré. À quelques minutes des pentes de ski. Dîner et bière au Redneck Bistro - super! Bien apprécié la communication avec nos hôtes (mention spéciale à Sue). On compte y retourner, peu importe la saison. Merci!

We had the perfect stay while at “Rowe’s Cabin” starting the new year in a quiet and peaceful setting. The hosts shared the story of the land and the cabin, including its history, adding to the experience and atmosphere for us that we really valued. They recommended going to Barron Canyon and we made sure to make a stop on our way out and it was the perfect ending to or trip, we were the only ones on the trail making it so much more whimsical. We snowshoed around the cabin and quietly sat in the window, playing uno, in the evening watching deer and wildlife coming up to the cabin for an hour or two. It had snowed the day we got there so it felt extra disconnected and relaxing. The hosts made sure we felt comfortable and safe in the cabin, we often are out in the woods during all times of the year and the hosts make this cabin experience in the woods fun and within reach to anyone new to the being in the woods or have more experience in the woods.

The hosts were very responsive and their place was clean and cozy right beside the lake. We enjoyed using their kayak for water activities. Bonus for being a super dog friendly place where friendly puppers are able to roam free. Many thanks especially to Mike who patiently showed us around and also shared with us his tips and knowledge about the area. He was very considerate and asked if we were ok with the noise level, otherwise he could move us to another area as another group was having a party. We were totally fine with it as it was still early in the evening but appreciated his kind gesture and going the extra mile to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Made many wonderful memories on this trip and hope to return again someday! Thank you for being such great hosts!

My husband, baby, dog and I had a great stay! The cabin was very clean, and had everything you need. Comfortable bed, clean pool and trails near by. Celebrated Halloween on the weekend, all the kids were dressed up and they had trick or treating through the campsite. Everyone staff and other campers are all so friendly. Would definitely recommend.

As described, it is a lovely cabin. We had a very cozy weekend. Marilyn and Svinda made sure that we have enough firewood and the fireplace made it so warm inside that we almost forgot it was -20 C outside! :) Marilyn and Svinda were super nice, kind, and helpful. We were introduced to their two mini donkeys and we could even take a lovely walk with them! There were also three outdoor gorgeous cats, good news for cat-lovers. Highly recommend this place!

We had a great time! Cabin was just as described and very clean, outhouse was also really well maintained. There was lots of wood for the campfire and their dock had everything you would need for a fun day on the water. Thank you!

Sean and I would both like to thank Tom and Jeanne. When you arrive at their home Tom will surely greet you with a smile and an appreciative hand shake! When you leave you will feel as if you’ve gained a new family member in your heart. The take away from our vacation was being able to enjoy each other’s company in the solitude of the woods - cooking together - and having conversations without the interruption of cell phones dinging. If you want to feel like you’re the star of your own romantic movie/novel -BOOK- the cabin! don’t even second guess it. We will be back with our kids to enjoy the trails! This is a wonderful and cozy cabin experience for a group of 4. The place has a lovely history and is preserved that way with attention to aesthetics that take you back in time. Debbi is a warm host and although we didn’t get to meet in person she was quick to respond and provided all the necessary details during our stay. Good parking space, private location and beautiful nursery and nature around the property. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Algonquin provincial park during the fall season.
