Susan is a wonderful host and a very lovely person! We had a very nice time staying at Susan's place! It was very warmly feeling to get a delicious breakfast made by Susan, and we especially loved the apple cobbler made by Susan. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality :). Our host, Rachel, was very welcoming, courteous and willing to accommodate us in anyway possible. The location was perfect for our trip. Our accommodations were just as described, clean and had everything we needed.

Claire’s place is what AirBnB should be about and why it used to be so good before corporate owners started buying and renting out sterile, impersonal spaces. At Claire’s you are a guest in someone’s real home, and someone who makes you feel like you are home with family. The home is warm and comfortable. The downstairs suite where I stayed had a large comfortable entry area with couch, chairs and television which was divided from the rest of the house by solid folding doors. Off of the entry space is your bedroom with an extremely comfortable bed, and off the bedroom is an en suite bathroom with a great walk in shower. I truly felt like I was staying with family, having use of the fridge and kitchen. Claire made some amazing breakfasts which were a great start to my workdays. An extra bonus was getting to meet and spend time with two of Claire’s close friends, Diane and Nancy. I had such a great time with them all. The cats of the house are loving and friendly. A wonderful stay!!

Anita's place is in the perfect location if you need to be close to the Airport. It is about a ten-minute's drive. Anita is super friendly, gracious and organized. She met me at the door, showed me my room and bathroom, and was very flexible in regard to allowing me to arrive fairly late to her home. Her room and bathroom are pleasant and clean. I spent only one night there; I arrived in the evening, and left for an early-morning flight from Albany International. Thank you, Anita!!!

Dillon was an amazing host; he was very responsive, especially when we messaged him. The location was very quiet as well as within walking distance of many things. Dillon's place was located on a street where there were not many cars driving through at all, making the nights very peaceful with little noise. Definitely would recommend staying.

Great stay. Was just what we needed for a three week work trip and didn’t have the busy traffic of the city, but was close enough to be in the city within ten minutes. Fast WiFi.

Was great to stay at Dillon’s place while my husband and I were in town for a concert at MVP arena- super easy walk! As others have mentioned heard neighbors/dogs a little bit, but didn’t bother us too much! Just a couple minor cleanliness things (hair on pillow/shower), but would recommend for anyone needing a quick stay over in downtown Albany!

Dillon is a great guy who has a beautiful place which we thoroughly enjoyed. The location was great for us to ski at Jiminy Peak. The apartment in the amenities were fantastic. The kitchen had all the essentials the bedrooms were clean. The beds were excellent couldn’t ask for more.

Charles was a wonderful and gracious host, and his house is beautiful! It was lovely chatting with Charles in the morning over coffee and a local pastry he brought! This place comes highly recommended!

Staying at the Green Farm is truly a joyful and must-have experience when in the Troy area. John is an exceptional host, providing meticulous care and attention not only to his guests but to the home itself. From the beginning, you are welcomed by beautiful greyhounds and a thoughtful host who prepares the most delicious breakfast! I stayed in the John Waters room, which was amazing—very eclectic, remarkably clean, and the perfect little nook to rest after scouting around town. Whether you’re there for work or leisure, all the amenities provided are top-notch. I definitely will be going back, dreaming of another little getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I found the inn last minute and couldn’t have been more pleased. The place is gorgeous and clean. John is the most kind and gracious host, and breakfast was delicious. We stayed because we had a concert in Saratoga Springs. What a beautiful and comfortable place to come home to for the night. We hope our adventures bring us to Troy again soon.

We could not have loved the Gardner Farm Inn and John more! Everything was perfect - both our air-conditioned bedroom and bathroom were spacious, beautifully appointed, and extremely clean. The king-sized bed in our room was deliciously comfortable and quiet. Our breakfast was sumptuous and delectable. John is a delight, and went out of his way to accommodate our arrival. His two dogs are the sweetest, gentlest creatures imaginable. And you will fall in love with the 1790's era house and its amazing collection of curios. Highly recommend staying here - it's a real treat!
