What can I say about Craig’s place that hasn’t already been said other than if I could give it 100 stars, I would. My husband and I spent 8 nights in this slice of heaven and felt like we were on top of the world. From the inception of our reservation, we were well cared for by Craig and Georgina, who lives local and looked in on us. We wanted for nothing. The well appointed kitchen, beautiful linens, hot tub, pool (although weather made it too cold to swim) washer and the views. The VIEWS were magical and the stars and silence at night….beautiful. The hiking around Competa and Canillas was lovely. Craig’s info so helpful and the tourism office in Competa helped us with hikes also. We loved the Aquaduct hike from Canillas to Archez and the Goat Path from Comp to Can. Both easy! So much fun in Competa also. Bars and restaurants full of wonderful folks from all over the world. So welcoming. We loved Adriano’s in Competa as well as Alicat. Two fun places! Thank you Craig and Georgina!

This is a lovely Spanish villa in the hills above Malaga. It had plenty of space for our party of 7 adults and one year old child. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the whole house was homely and beautifully presented. The outside kitchen area was much used and there were supermarkets within a short drive to stock up the fridges. The pool area, complete with hammock and sun loungers was delightful and the jacuzzi was a relaxing alternative . A car is essential for getting in provisions and making visits in the area. Jose was definitely a Superhost and always attentive to enquiries . He made some great recommendations for day trips and restaurants. We visited Malaga, Marbella, Mijas, & did the cool zip line at Sunview Pk as well as the Caminito del Rey hike. We had a wonderful week and highly recommend a holiday here.

We had an amazing stay at this villa! It was perfect for our group of 16 — super spacious, beautifully decorated, and really comfortable. The location couldn't have been better. The hosts were also fantastic, really helpful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this place to anyone traveling with a big group!

Unser Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen Finca war herausragend! Mit Abstand das schönste, sauberste, gepflegteste und luxuriöseste Airbnb, in dem wir je waren. Es war alles rundum perfekt! Die Lage ist traumhaft ruhig in den Bergen mit grandioser Aussicht. Die Finca ist liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet, super gemütlich, sehr luxuriös - es fehlt an Nichts! Man fühlt sich direkt wie zu Hause. Es war alles unfassbar sauber und gepflegt. So etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt! Noch viel schöner als auf den Bildern :) Die Kommutation zum Host ist super nett, wir wurden herzlich in Empfang genommen, war jederzeit erreichbar und wir haben tolle Tipps für die Gegend bekommen. Alles in allem eine 10/10. Danke, dass wir bei euch sein durften.

What a wonderful Villa we’ve stayed in. Everything was great. Steve even got us a square table for us so we can play cards. Well worth the money. Highly recommended.

We had 3 parties, 2birthdays and a 5yr old boy to enjoy the facilities even though it predominantly rained, the heated pool and hot tub were a godsend and the games available were just brilliant for the dry spells. I would not hesitate to recommend the 2villas and space to anyone. Thanks Antonio

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt in der Villa Luna. Die Villa ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, modern und unfangreich ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Der Garten mit vielen Avocado-Bäumen ist groß, man kann darin spazieren gehen und den Vögeln zuhören. Auch der schöne Pool-Bereich ist erwähnenswert. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin verlief völlig unkompliziert, sie hatte stets alle Eventualitäten im Blick, wir fühlten uns gut informiert und umsorgt.

Jesus est un très bonne hôte disponible et réactif, la maison est idéalement située, restaurant plage centre ville tout est disponible à pied , à deux pas du zoo pour les enfants l’emplacement est idéal pour une famille aucun besoin de voiture , la piscine est très agréable et propre , serviette lave linge et internet , 🛜 dispo parfait merci

Une villa complètement équipée pour les petits et les grands. Vous avez besoin de quelque chose ils y ont pensé ! Très propre avec un entretien regulier sans être envahissant. Quartier paisible avec la plage et des jeux pour enfants à deux pas. Seul bémol : tous les toilettes sont dans les chambres et le chauff'eau n'a qu'une capacité de 4/5 douches.

Muitos pontos positivos! Casa tem móveis piscina e quartos e cozinha completa! Mais Utensílios talvez seja necessário para caso precisa cozinhar mais dias e mais coisas. As praias não são tão próximas, mas muito acessível via automóvel! Lugar tranquilo! Fomos em Maio ainda por mais que só dias são quentes a água da piscina e do mar na região de Minas, Fuengirola e Marbella ainda são bem frias!

Very good value for our booking period and exactly as described. Great amount of space for the price, very quiet location a short walk down to various restaurants etc. It seemed like the obvious one to book when we searched and I would definitely book it again. Only minor thing to mention was that the outdoor table area to the right of the house wasn’t very clean and the table-tennis table looks like it has seen better days. But the weather has been so unusually bad in Malaga recently that I can understand parts of the outside not being absolutely tip-top when we were there. There is a lovely terrace off the lounge which we spent a lot of time on, also enjoyed braving the pool in the rain! We also made use of the great luggage storage room in the centre of Malaga.

We had a fantastic stay at Carlos’ apartment! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how bright, spacious, and clean it was. The large windows let in so much natural light, making it a perfect space for groups of friends or family to gather and enjoy quality time together. Carlos is an excellent host—he truly understands the needs of a larger group, ensuring the kitchen and dining supplies were well-stocked, and even providing plenty of cleaning supplies so everyone could pitch in. Carlos also gave us a great restaurant recommendation—Mesón Andrés—which was absolutely amazing in terms of taste! He was always super friendly, responsive, and quick to assist with any minor issues. We also tried to use the heated pool, but since the weather had been quite cold and rainy (around 10°C), it wasn’t as warm as we had hoped—still usable, but more lukewarm than truly warm.

Fantastic job by Samanta and Mario at Mar Management. Great check in and they helped us get our baggage left off early. Showed us around the whole complex which includes an excellent pool area. The villa has three separate outdoor sitting areas and two indoor lounges. Really well equipped and furnished indoors and out, including a high quality Weber gas BBQ and comfortable outdoor furniture. The area is quiet and not really close to any shops - the nearest is up the hill to the Benalmadina Pueblo (old town) which is really beautiful with great little restaurants. So be prepared to do some walking got get groceries and to the shops/restaurants. In reality, you need either a hire car or get local taxis or Uber which are quite cheap (less than €10).

Great place, enjoyed the stay and the area with local buses. The covered pool was ideal for the family gathering.

The villa is in a great location with the beach and shops nearby. The villa itself is very comfortable, with some great art on the walls. However, what makes it even more special is the private garden with pool, jacuzzi. and outside dining area, with a second kitchen opening on to it. We loved that bit the most. Alex and Claire were lovely to talk to and gave us good tips on where to dine and places to go. Both before and during the visit their communication was excellent and much appreciated. We were here for a family celebration and I can definitely recommend this property to families or larger groups. Thank you.

This place is amazing! From the moment we booked Larissa and Raf. Were helpful and kind. Even after we checked in they still were so helpful. The photos do not compliment this house enough. It’s epic. The area and house was so clean. Nice size bedrooms ,bathrooms etc. massive living area. Outdoor space is great. Even the additional outside kitchen area with bbq. The pool is clean. Just a bit cold. We went end of April. The garden gets lots of sun 🌞 The area itself is quiet and 5-10min walk to local supermarkets. 20 min in a uber to Malaga I would highly recommend this house You sometimes find a place you feel comfortable to live in and would go back at the next opportunity. This is it. Thnx for making our holiday perfect.

We were really happy with the house as it was ideal for us. We drove from UK with bikes so parking and e-bikes so security and storage were very important. Really spacious inside and outside. Sun or shade as required all day. Possible to walk in to town. Had been on Burriana side before but this seemed more relaxed and we were able to explore the other side of town. Any issues were dealt with promptly and efficiently by Beatrice and Fabrizio. Replies to messages got responses in just a few minutes. Loved our stay.

The villa was the perfect accommodation for a family holiday, the villa was so clean and had everything we needed for ourselves and our young children. The Villa is in a quiet cul de sac and was so peaceful and quiet. The pool was clean and warm and there was a large well kept garden for the children to play. There is a verity of shops, bars and restaurants all within close walking distance and the neighbourhood felt very safe. Overall the owners had really thought about everything that would make your stay relaxing and comfortable. I will definitely be returning when we visit Calahonda again.

Beautiful location with stunning views. Very private. Mike welcomed us and was super friendly and helpful. The hosts were very approachable but not intrusive. The house was very clean and well equipped. Felt very homely and comfortable. The outside terrace was private and had a stunning view. It was sadly a little cold to use the pool due to the time of year but I imagine this would be fantastic in the summer. Instructions to reach the house were very clear and we had no issues finding it. We were staying just after worst rain in years so the way was a bit muddier than usual. We wish we had a 4x4 but under usual circumstances I don’t think this would be essential. Truly beautiful and I hope we can stay again in the future!

We had a lovely stay, the villa is beautiful, with gorgeous views of the sea and mountains. Unfortunately, we did not have the winter sun we were hoping for during our stay but this did not stop us all enjoying the Villa and surrounding area. A short (but very steep) walk up the hill takes you into the pueblo with lots of restaurants/shop etc. The bus stop at the top of the road lets you explore the local area with lots of routes. The playroom/snug is great if travelling with children like we were. Tom was also very helpful and responsive.

A beautiful villa - the photos didn't do it justice - the views were really lovely wherever you were in the large terrace and gardens, which were well kept with beautiful pots. And all areas to sit were quite private too, despite the fact that there were plenty of villas all around us. And we just couldn't fault the villa itself - gorgeous spacious interior, very tastefully appointed and furnished. The kitchen had everything you could need for a stay - even a great selection of herbs and spices to cook with! The gardens were really well kept and both medlar trees were covered with ripe medlar fruits, so we could even pick fresh fruit to put on our breakfasts each morning! We would all be very happy to book again.

Nothing prepares you for Casa Del Mirador - it truly is a slice of heaven, on earth. Private, breathtaking views, exquisite decor and an attentive hostess who in my opinion has carefully strived to ensure the villa has everything one needs. There's a beautiful view from every room, the outdoor beds ensure you get the most of the sun, then there's the barbecue grill, the hot tub in addition to the swimming pool, towels, slippers, some basic groceries, the list goes on. If you can, book it either as a solo traveller or a place for two. This is a haven of tranquility, a place to rejuvenate and feel connected to nature. Her guide book for the villa and the local area is a masterclass for expectations from anywhere else. Thank you Michaela - 11 out of 10 - definitely a place to return to!

We truly enjoyed our stay at villa. Everything worked as expected and the pool area was marvellous for all kind water activities. In addition the table tennis was also really nice to play. Two buildings fit also very well for our group (10 adults, 3 kids). Only thing was that you always forced to use car, no restaurants/shops in walking distance, but that was also known beforehand.
