We really enjoyed our stay at Sally's place – this cottage was exactly what we needed during our 4-day stay in Taupō. The cottage is a short drive away from the town centre, and we really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings of Acacia Bay. The space had everything that we needed (and more!), and Sally was extremely welcoming and friendly whenever we had the opportunity to chat.

When we arrive at the house, it has exceeded our expectations. It has everything we need for the stay. Very beautiful view of the whangamata bay. The golden hour was breathtaking and we really love this. It was a very nice to spend my birthday in Tania’s home. The whole house was very lovely and spacious. Minimalistic style but very modern. It can fit a whole group but really enjoyed it still with my two friends and my dog. The hot tub with the view has the cherry on top. Tania was responsive with all our queries. I cant explained further more the place. All we know is that we enjoy the house and all its perks in it. Very very much recommended for taupo staycation ❤️

All we can say to everyone is...please book your stay here you will not be disappointed, the comforts of home. Our hosts made our check in, our stay and our check out super easy and were always available to us, we were also able to extend our stay at very short notice😊

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Kuratau genossen. Die Lage der Unterkunft unmittelbar am Lake Taupo ist phantastisch. Wir konnten direkt vom Grundstück an das Seeufer und dort schwimmen. Das Hazs bietet alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Hervorzuheben ist ausserdem die unglaubliche Ruhe fern von technischen Geräuschen, nur Vögel, Wind und Wellen. Die Kommunikation mit Barb war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie war hilfsbereit und reagierte rasch auf unsere Anfragen. Schade, dass wir nach 6 Tagen abreisen mussten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

loved this whare, stunning views of the lake. opened up the conservatory windows, enjoyed the views and listening to the Tui with a cuppa each morning. Had everything that we needed a couple of minutes drive from the wedding we attended. Comfy beds lots of bathrooms. Would definately recommend as a great get away to R&R for the weekend

Great place to stay. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We did the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. It was great to have the hot tub to help us recover

Really lovely little house in National Park. Convenient if you want to do the Tongariro Crossing. Host Chris was great - responsive to questions I asked, providing info on local services and replying quickly to any questions.

Mike’s house was an amazing place to stay! We had so much fun during our time there. The house is well-equipped with all kinds of sports gear, perfect for enjoying with friends and family. We’re definitely planning to return in the future!

Stayed with 2 grandchildren, aged 1 and 2. Kiddy plugs were on all electric plugs at their level, and the covers were down on the deck, preventing accidental fall, (although only a foot or so high). Super clean, lovely location, we have stayed before and we will stay again. This is THE BEST AirBnB out.
