It was a real joy staying in Ludvik's guest house. It was quite spacious for its size and all amenities were provided in abundance. It felt right at home and is an ideal place to stay before flying out of Iceland. It has our highest recommendation!

Location is ideal for visiting the volcano and Blue Lagoon. Guesthouse is spacious and has all the essentials needed for visiting this quaint fishing village. Einar was quick to respond to all of our communications. Really enjoyed some of the local restaurants within walking distance.

good place to put your head down after a day on the road

Perfect place to sleep a few hours after arriving to KEF at 6 AM. Everything was perfectly clean and very well maintained.

Très joli logement décoré avec goût. Très bonne literie. De nombreux restaurants sont à proximité. Très pratique pour une nuit avec départ très matinal car à 10 min en voiture de l’aéroport Keflavik. Stationnement possible juste devant le logement.

L’appartamento è molto carino, pulito e corrisponde alla descrizione. Dispone del necessario per cucinare e si trova in una posizione comoda sia per la vicinanza all’aeroporto che a supermercati e ristoranti. L’host è molto gentile e disponibile! Lo consiglio!

we had a wonderful stay, not to far by car to stores or the capital. The apartment was beautiful, and the instructions that were left for us was a brilliant idea. It made it really easy for us to best take care of the place when we were here😁

Jonas’ place is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve experienced. It was spotless, fully furnished, and well-organized. The addition of a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer was a fantastic bonus. Jonas thoughtfully warmed the house before our arrival and left helpful tips on the dining table. The spacious layout made it comfortable to move around, and it’s conveniently located just 10-12 minutes from the airport—ideal for resting after a long flight. For us, after touring Iceland, we felt completely at home here. I highly recommend Jonas’ house for a welcoming stay.

Excelente ubicación muy cerca del aeropuerto. Es una casa en un segundo piso con acceso independiente, pudimos llegar y entrar fácil con sus instrucciones. Tiene muchos espacios útiles como lavandería, cocina y refri con comida a utilizar, y televisión, son cosas que otro no tenían. También hay un pequeño supermercado a 1 cuadra muy útil. Pareciera que viven o vivieron ahí porque están todas sus cosas, lo hizo un poco confuso la primera noche, pero ya las demás me sentí cómoda y en casa. Lo recomiendo!

Arianna a été très réactive et gentille. Studio cosy et pratique avec tout ce dont on a besoin, et un supermarché ouvert 24h/24 à 1 minute à pied et également proche de l’aéroport quand on arrive. Grand lit, rangements, cuisine fonctionnelle et une salle de bain avec une grande douche ! Merci encore

Ayman’s apartment was cozy and clean — we felt right at home! He is a very responsive host and the apartment’s proximity to the airport made our trip extremely efficient. Highly recommend!

Oh we absolutely loved this darling little place. Very cozy especially in winter. Felt like our own little cozy cave. Very walkable to groceries, restaurants, so close to airport and Blue Lagoon. Highly recommend for a visit to SW peninsula of Iceland.

We had a wonderful stay at Elisa’s place. The host Elisa is very responsive to all my messages. Her place is super clean, comfortable and well-decorated. We could enjoy the beautiful sunset no matter you stay inside the living room or at the patio outdoor. There has a hot-tub outside for the guest too. Thank you again Elisa. Highly recommend.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft! Die Wohnung war nicht nur sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, sondern auch sehr gemütlich und einladend. Die Gastgeberin war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, dass wir uns von Anfang an wie zu Hause fühlten. Ein Highlight war natürlich der private Whirlpool. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und würden definitiv wiederkommen!

We had an amazing time at Geir’s family home! This was an incredible place to spend the new year and we would absolutely return! The location is perfect. We were able to walk outside the city lights a short distance to get an amazing view of the northern lights. A designated lookout is also a short car ride away. Plus, downtown Reykjavík is a short car or bus ride away! It could also be a good walk for those who like to hike.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was the first place we stayed on our trip to Iceland. Larus went above and beyond to have the hot tub ready for us when we got in late in the evening, which was so appreciated! The place was immaculate and very spacious. Highly recommend everyone to stay here for this serene spot with beautiful views and an incredible hot tub!

Dom Mattiego to świetna baza wypadowa do zwiedzania Reykjanesu (od geotermalnych okolic Gunnuhver, przez park krajobrazowy z jeziorem Kleifarvatn, Reykjavik, aż po gejzery czy wodospad Gullfoss). Blisko z lotniska (20 minut autem). Sam dom w spokojnej okolicy, bardzo duża przestrzeń, w tym 4 sypialnie, duża kuchnia i łazienka czyniły to, że jako 4-osobowa rodzina czuliśmy się bardzo komfortowo. Łatwy dostęp do kluczy mimo późnego przyjazdu, możliwość zostania nieco dłużej w dniu wyjazdu oraz szybkie odpowiedzi gospodarza - to także czynniki decydujące o naszej bardzo wysokiej ocenie. Jeśli miałbym polecić bazę noclegową w tej części Islandii, to Vogar i dom Mattiego polecam z czystym sumieniem. A przy okazji - powroty o ciemku (zima 2025) do domu Mattiego z naszych codziennych wypraw i zorze polarne widziane nie tylko w ciemnych miejscach w okolicach miasta Vogar, ale także spod domu - niezapomniane chwile dla nas wszystkich!

Jolanta was amazing, she was so friendly and responsive, if we ever needed anything she was right there. Her property was spotless and had everything we needed and more. She went above and beyond. We all had an amazing holiday & would highly recommend her and this property.

Þurfti gistingu vegna brúðkaupsveislu. Við vorum einar í húsinu og leið pínu eins og heima hjá okkur. Við nýttum okkur fátt nema rúmið og baðherbergið en allt var til fyrirmyndar. Við vinkonurnar mælum með þessari gistingu. Við fundum hvergi betra verð heldur.
