This place was amazing, it truly felt like home. It was walking distance to many restaurants, shops and bus stops. Very close to the airport as well so that was a plus. Host was very communicative and responsive when needed. Definitely recommend staying here.

We LOVED our time here and were sad to leave. It was our cozy home away from home and was perfect for our two year old. The apartment was warm and squeaky clean. It was close to the airport with convenient parking. The beds were really comfortable as well. It is right off the freeway and easy to hop over to Reykjavik in about 30-40 minutes or so. 10/10 would stay here again.

This is Stephen's home, and he lets it be yours for the duration of your stay. It is wonderfully kept and feels like you live there when you walk in. There is a space for your boots by the door, and a wardrobe to put your big coat & waterproofs in the Porch. The space is massive.... plenty of room to relax and a great kitchen. The bathroom is perfect and doubles as a utility room, with a washing machine & tumble dryer, plus all the utensils for cleaning when you leave. A quick note - if you hire Stephens place, please check the Tumble Dryer as previous guests, perhaps did not realise you need to empty the water tray & Fluff filter. Very comfortable bed in a massive bedroom. There is a patio area which in the summer, would be a further great space to relax in. Never met the guy, but Stephen is one of those 'mi casa su casa' gentlemen..... and he likes Rugby. :-) We could not recommend his place more. Perfect location for car hire return and the International Airport at Keflavik.

It was amazing three day November stay at Iceland. This apartment is directly near the coast and I enjoyed the walk by the ocean #freezing but loved it. It's also only a 10min drive to the airport. The absolute highlight was seeing the northern lights just out of the accommodation...practically out of the bed. Helena was also very responsive and friendly. I had a good feeling about her being there in case of a need.

This place is adorable! So spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need, including the sweetest most friendly tuxedo cat, Skuggi. Erla gave me a great recommendation for an evening walk along the lighted path by the ocean to see the small boat harbor and the giantess’s cave! The little orange lighthouse was an unexpected and happy surprise along the way. I loved it so much I had to go again in the morning before I checked out. I also was thankful for the washer & dryer, incredible shower, and the coffee, oatmeal & banana. I can’t wait for another visit to Iceland and I will absolutely stay here again.

Rùnar’s home is perfect to rest after an icelandic adventure. It’s warm, comfortable and nice, with an amazing ocean view (we had the chance to contemplete an eruption too!) and good markets near by. There is a delicious little fish market too, at few steps. Reykjavìk is easily reachable by walking (half an hour) or with bus and Seltjarnarnes is a peaceful and welcoming neighborhood. Rùnar and his family are helpful and kind. Thank you for sharing your home!

Benedikt was responsive and helpful with directions and local information. The apartment was well stocked with breakfast items and drinks. It was warm and snug, even though there was a howling blizzard much of the time outside! Free parking in the driveway, just meters from the door was a bonus in the windy, snowy weather. I felt safe, it was quiet and peaceful

Πολύ καλή η φιλοξενία που είχαμε για 4 βραδιές! Στην αγγελία καποιες από τις παροχές ενώ υπάρχουν δεν αναγράφονται. Πολύ κοντά στο αεροδρόμιο, χωρίς να ακούγονται τα αεροπλάνα, σημαντικό! Πολύ καλό καινούριο διαμέρισμα πρώτου ορόφου με μικρό μπαλκόνι και τρία δωμάτια. Πολύ καθαρό μπάνιο ζεστό νερό και παροχές όπως πετσέτες, σαμπουάν, πλυντήριο πιάτων κάνανε ευχάριστη τη διαμονή μας. Μεγάλος καναπές, πολύ μεγάλη smartv . Πεντακάθαρο διαμέρισμα! Το μόνο αρνητικό ήταν ότι έγινε μπέρδεμα με την διεύθυνση του σπιτιού.

Logement confortable, bien équipé et conforme à la description. Très bien situé pour aller à l'aéroport tôt le matin et pour aller au blue lagoon. Je recommande fortement.

Lilja and her family are the best hosts ever. It was our first visit to Iceland and thanks to them it was completely worry free and unforgettable. They are incredibly helpful and patient and even walked us to the towns bonfire on New Year’s eve. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. The apartment itself was clean, organised and not cluttered. We had everything we needed and anything that was missing, Lilja and her husband provided without questions asked. We also received recommendations of where to go and what to see as well as the safety apps for roads. 100/10 incredible people.

Six Star Review! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Maria’s place is larger than it looks in her photos and feels more like you are home sitting for a beloved friend. It was our favorite place to stay in Iceland. The harbor is very cute and there are many excellent restaurants nearby. She has a very detailed manual of the home and neighborhood, which is helpful. Also she was very generous with her coffee and tea selection, which was wonderful.

For a family of 4 it was a perfect spot for a few days. We also loved the local swimming pool.

Eva is very friendly and responsive to our emails. She let us check-in early as our flight was early in the noon. It was a great help. The place is clean and the location is great. The house has extra mattresses to accommodate additional guests, just in case, which is nice.

We really enjoyed staying at Helga’s place. Check in and check out was easy because of the good instructors. The apartment is beautiful and spacious. The rooms and kitchen are well equipped, we had everything we needed and so much more. Helga is really nice, friendly and communicative hostess. We absolutely recommend this place for staying. ☺️

This is a spectacular and large apartment in a beautiful residential neighborhood. The views alone are enough to recommend it, but the overall place was spacious, clean, and comfortable for our family group of 4 adults and 2 teens. I would definitely recommend a car. The neighborhood is safe and walkable, but at least 20 minutes on foot to most things, and the wind was very cold at night. We did not try the bus, but all neighbors in the area were driving and we were very happy we had booked a car. With a car, it was super easy to get around Reykjavik and leave the city for day trips. On street parking by the apartment was easy to find and free. My mom asked me to leave a note that this is not a rental, but a home, so there are lots of personal items throughout the house and limited spaces to unpack. She also warns against people who might not be aware that it is a walk up unit. My teens loved the very affectionate cat, who made it feel like home.

Great cozy apartment right next to the airport! Very clean and well decorated, we were even provided some sparkling water and soft drink which was a great surprise!
