Fantastic home! It was cozy and quiet with great natural light and a beautiful balcony while being a 10 minute walk from downtown. The home and host made you feel immediately at home! I would highly recommend.

My family and I (5 adults) had a great stay there. Hjalmar and his wife greeted us when we arrived at the house. He was very responsive and flexible with our check-in. The place was clean and comfortable. It had everything. We would stay there again. Highly recommend!

A perfect space for a couple, in a location that’s great for both going into Reykjavík and driving around the golden circle/south coast. The apartment looks even better in real life, and was left clean and with everything we could have needed, we absolutely loved our stay! Thank you so much- would recommend to anyone :)

Very lovely stay in Iceland. The property was spotless and the check in process was very simple and easy. The host was very responsive and gave us helpful tips and recommendations. The location is perfect as you are situated in downtown Reykjavik, so travelling in the local area is very easy. I would highly recommend this place to book if visiting Iceland.

Amazing apartment within easy walking distance of the main areas in Reykjavik. Lovely view from the balcony & the main bus stop #12 was right opposite. The apartment is huge - we’d definitely recommend this & would come back ourselves too.

We loved staying at Haukur's place - it was walkable to a ton of restaurants and attractions in downtown Reykjavík, but still quiet in the evenings. Check-in was very easy. Parking was also pretty easy. We used the Parka app and parked one block away from Haukur's apartment (parking in front of the apt is zone 1, but if you park one block up it's zone 2 and half the price). Overall, great location and experience. We would definitely stay here again!

We appreciated the great location, beautiful room and hospitality from the front desk staff. It was really helpful to be able to drop off our luggage early in the morning upon arrival to maximize our time in Iceland with an all day tour!

Sehr saubere, gut eingerichtete Unterkunft. Sie liegt in einem privaten und ruhigen Gebiet und trotzdem Nahe zur Stadt. Wir haben uns gleich willkommen und wie zuhause gefühlt. Wir können die Wohnung weiterempfehlen und kommen auch gerne wieder!

We had a great stay at this place. Andri keeps the apartment super clean and it has everything you need. Andri is also an exceptional host, always quick to respond to any questions and offering great local tips and recommendations.

Svava was a great host and was flexible with the check in time we requested.The beds were really comfy .Def recommend the place when visiting Iceland!

el piso era tal cual en las fotos. el acceso, sin llave pero con todas las instrucciones para el garaje, la basura etc. el apartamento estaba ordenado y limpiamos, con todo lo necesario para 2 personas. La zona a muy tranquila, en el puerto antiguo pero cambiando a menos de 5 minutos del centro turístico. Ubicación perfecta para conocer la ciudad sin mover el coche. la comunicación con los anfitriones era rápida y ágil. Nos informaron de restaurantes, de museos, de cosas que hacer incluso un día que había alerta roja se preocuparon por avisarnos. Se ve que se preocupan por los vistantes.

Great apartment. Quick drive into Reykjavík. FYI that the parking is not assigned but free parking in the surrounding neighborhood wherever you can find it.

We loved staying in Anna's apartment! She is an amazing and kind hostess. The apartment looks even better than the pictures, very clean and comfortable. Includes all the amenities you could need and the location, although not in the center, it's really accessible (if you rent a car) and the neighborhood is nice. The building has an elevator which was a plus. Would stay there again.

I could not imagine a better place to stay in Reykjavik! We were there for 9 nights and loved it. The place was comfortable for our family of four, with a full kitchen and dining table. The location is so central, literally a 2-minute walk to Hallgrimskirkja where we joined multiple tours during our stay. There were literally a dozen attractions, stores, and restaurants within a 5-minute walk, including the Sun Voyager, Braud, Cafe Loki, and others. We recommend this place wholeheartedly and will try to book it on our next visit.

Clean apartment with character. It’s a nice place to relax and it’s in a walking distance from the center and close to Bus Stop 1 that many tours have as a pickup point.

Edda's place was wonderful!It's location is perfect as it is about 15' walk away from the center and the parking is free and easy if you follow her instructions. Everything was clean and tidy, and Edda herself was friendly and very responsive to all our questions!Highly recommended!Thanks for everything!

Our family of 5 (3 pre-teens / teenagers) did an IcelandAir stopover for just a couple of days. This BnB was in a great location close to the airport and the city. The home itself was wonderful and easily accommodated us. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Elisa provided amazing recommendations for things to do and local places to eat. I wish we had more time to spend in this wonderful country. When we come back, we hope Elisa and her family will host us again!

I'll have to say that at first I was not happy - the Airbnb that we reserved had not been cleaned from the previous stay. HOWEVER, the situation was rectified when I reached out to Hildurg. Hildurg responded immediately and accommodated us into a new apartment for our stay within the same building. The rest of the stay was pleasant and I would say that having a responsive and helpful host is extremely valuable on Airbnb. I would reserve again with Hildurg given how helpful everything was and how close the apartment is to the center of Reykjavik! There is free parking available around the area too.

The house is located right at downtown which is convenient to walk around. Lot of options for food and souvenir stores to explore

Brynja is incredibly communicative, helpful and just lovely! Her home is beautiful and the private hot tub was a real selling point for us. The bus to downtown was just outside and super convenient - I would recommend this apartment to anyone and everyone I know who travels to Reyjavik!

The location was ideal for easy access into Reykjavik and all destinations in the South West of Iceland. Great space for my wife & I & our 2 teenagers. Good value & we would recommend for families. The building was quiet & the hot tub and pizza oven & bbq on the patio were awesome to have too. Gissur was a great host & his instruction manual was comprehensive.

Best city centre apartment we’ve ever been to! From the location (as central as it gets), to the interior (stylish, comfortable, lovely & warm and more), to the welcome from Rosa (coffee pods and so on!) and to the facilities, we simply cannot fault. Roof top hot tub in the snow was simply wonderful. We loved the sustainability of it … filled from the geothermally heated water supply. We just suggest bringing flip flops if it’s winter, unless you love barefoot snow walking (which we didn’t mind at all). Rosa was extremely responsive & helpful, checking in was easy. And Reykjavík itself is a most wonderful place to spend a few days. 100% recommend.

Incredibly spacious apartment with lovely furniture and design. The bathroom is large and a dream to use, and the kitchen is fully equipped for everything we needed. This apartment was perfect and I totally recommend :)

Beautiful private apartment with incredible host. The photos don't show the warmth and character of the apartment, with amazing little details and quality in every room. From the linen in the bedroom, the way the kitchen is appointed to toiletries in the bathroom, all made our stay so comfortable and relaxing. We were there over New Years and Anna gave us tips on the Northern Lights as well as some celebration treats as well as a welcoming drink. As a host we could not recommend more highly. It's location to local amenities was perfect and you could as easily eat out in central Reykjavik as you could go shopping and cook in. We hired a car but chose to use public transport to get around the city - the bus stop was only 5 minutes walk away and super easy. The Hot Tub was private in a lovely garden with our own door from the apartment. Overall we had an amazing stay at Anna and Skuli's 5 star apartment.
