Very homely welcoming feel. Well stocked fridge and generous breakfast provisions. Very pet friendly and accommodating of our dogs. Spotless and clean and well kept and home from home vibe. Charming decor. Hosts couldn't be more generous and considerate. Ivan and Jaine were so helpful friendly and welcoming. So quick to respond to anything extra we needed. We had such a great new year with our family living in the area which was made even better by this brilliant Airbnb. Thank you

Host was extremely friendly and responsive, facilities were clean, modern and exactly how described. Very peaceful, secure and quiet surroundings. After 1 night we can safely say theres nowhere else in Cardif we would rather stay

we stayed with sharon for a weekend at the beautiful lodge. a very comfortable space, well thought out, with a very well-equipped kitchen (nothing was missing!), spacious and well-maintained bathrooms. a living room with a beautiful view. good price, very close to the town and with very nice and caring hosts.

Spent a couple of nights to attend the rugby at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. Bus into the city was so easy and saved expensive parking. The cottage is a clever design making the most of the building. It was spot less, furnished well with a kitchen area with all you could need including coffee machine and welcome pack cereals, welsh cakes and biscuits. The bed was very comfy and lovely bathroom with nice toiletries. Would definitely book again if coming to the area again. The Red Lion a very short walk from cottage does excellent food. We arrived late and ate there before checking in, then the bus stopped there on the way back from Cardiff so it was very convenient to do so again.

Great base to explore the area

Stayed here on 29/03/25 after me and my partner did the four waterfall walk, we was looking for somewhere quiet to stay the night and just relax and this place was right up there. Lovely location, easy to find and lovely and peaceful. Amazing responsive owner and nothing was too much trouble. It was clean as clean, everything we needed was inside and the bonus was the hot tub also, amazing extra to have and was warm and already running when we got there. Was recommended the lion pub for food and what food it was, good value and very nice food and only a 5 min walk from the place :) not one bad word about this place and will be recommending to all my friends etc who I know who go that way to stay here. We will 100% be back. Thank you again for an amazing stay

Brilliant stay, I stayed for over a month and really enjoyed calling it home somewhere clean safe and comfortable to stay… that was a home away from home much better than staying in a hotel somewhere. Clean, Modern and Cosy! Ticked all the boxes and can’t wait to hopefully stay again soon ….

This place is perfect for a beautiful getaway. Perfect location for us as we were going to the four trails walk waterfalls. Beautiful scenery all around this location. The host was nothing but perfect. Very helpful & responsive. Even helped me out when I left something at the place so many thanks to them. Would highly recommend.

A fantastic stay in Porthcawl at Claire’s lovely caravan. The location is second to none, so peaceful and beautiful right on the sea front The caravan was immaculate and had everything we needed, Claire was so helpful and quick to respond to my queries Looking to stay again in August Thanks Claire!

a lovely little 2 person garden studio, warm and cosy and equipped with everything you need. bed was lovely and comfy, it was very clean and tidy with no clutter. it had a cosy, homely feel and felt nice and private. it was really easy to find and let ourselves in/out. Thank you Levina 😁

Great location for exploring the local area and easy access into Cardiff. My son and I had tickets for the 6 Nations game and used this as a base to visit the area and be outside the city. Would happily visit again

Gem of a place, so glad we found it,Tim and Pat are superb hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them, they are extremely friendly and helpful,great location, private and peaceful, everything you need for your stay is provided for, close to amenities,we loved it and so did our two dogs,will definitely be back,

I made a very last minute booking with Debbie and she was very accommodating, despite the fact that she was leaving soon to go out for a meal. The room was nicer than some that I've stayed in at 4* hotels. I would not hesitate to return.

You can definitely describe this place as unique. It has a real charm. Everything we need was there. It's not the Ritz, but we didn't pay for the Ritz. Great weather made the BBQ area great as a gathering space. Perfect for an 11up Stag weekend at Bike Park Wales

Brilliant quiet night away, couldn't have asked for more than the peace and tranquility provided. The location is up some beautiful winding country lanes. Claire was brilliant and responsive, even popping to help in the middle of lambing! The accommodation itself was lovely, lots of exposed beams.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Lodge. Location was perfect for walking to Penarth and Sully, with stunning coastal views. We had come for the Rugby, with a few days extra to explore the beautiful area.Train return from Penarth to Cardiff Central was easy, and we enjoyed our walk to and from the lodge, where we raised a few more glasses to a great England win. We walked to The Captains Wife for a Sunday roast and were blessed with great coastal views Travers was an excellent host communicating with us well, even recommending a take away to have on our arrival after our journey from Hampshire. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Just perfect Thank you Travers and Mutale

A fantastic place to base yourself in the Brecons. The cottage was lovely, had everything you could need, was warm and perfectly based for walks in the Brecons. You can do a big loop of Pen Y Fal / Sugarloaf from Gilwern (or a short drive for the regular route). Kathryn was responsive, clear, helpful and left a lovely welcome hamper. We loved our stay and would come again

Great place, the bed was super comfy and the whole house was clean and well kept. Definitely worth the money, would recommend.
