A truly beautiful cabin set in peaceful surroundings. The cabin has everything you need. I stayed for a wedding locally and it was the perfect location and provided everything I needed. Would highly recommend and would love to go back to explore the hikes around the area. Carol and George are wonderful hosts and very helpful.

The second time I have stayed at Richard’s beautiful hut. Such a peaceful location and lots of lovely places to visit nearby. The hut is well thought out and comfortable. Secure garden for my dog and fantastic hot tub!

Great base to explore the area

Very good stay at Cwmachua cabins. Fantastic set up with great views. The cabin has everything you need and is presented really well. They provide a lot of tips and insight into the local area with their check in book which was very useful. The hosts are very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed whilst also leaving us to it. It is a little way out of the nearest town but this is to be expected with such great views. Would highly recommend to anybody!

Beautiful scenery with views of the mountains from the cabin and hot tub. Would have preferred a 4 person hot tub but the 2 person was fine. Close enough to Brecon town and far enough away to feel peaceful. I would recommend to friends and family for a little get away.

Richard’s place was perfect for a 2 day work trip / all you can wish for when away from home packed cleverly in a beautiful light peaceful private extension. Richard is very helpful, friendly and the space is carefully considered to meet all your demands. The generous breakfast additions are fantastic. Easy to park ( and for free without the residence limitations and complications so common in Cardiff and great restaurants and take away options on the doorstep - also Cardiff city centre and beyond very reachable through public transport. All in all great place to stay! I hope to be back soon!

Beautiful location and the Landpod was very comfortable. We brought lots of extra bedding with us so we were very cosy. It was wonderful to light a fire (although we had to provide our own wood) and gaze at the stars at night. We would definitely book again as great access to walking trails.

This was perfect way to get away from the busyness of life, to chill out, relax and celebrate my wife’s birthday. The accommodation was immaculate, clean and high end. We loved the log burning fire and the hot tub especially on a crisp spring day. We would love to stay again in the future

We had an amazing day! Everything was perfect from start to finish. Clear instructions on how to use everything inside the hut. The hot tub was huge the photos don't do it justice! The milk and prosecco in the fridge was a great touch ❤️

We had a lovely stay at toad and snail, excellent location for exploring the surrounding hills. The carriage was clean, tidy and very cosy. Kitchen had all the bits you’d need for a weekend stay. Gas hob and hot shower was a real luxury! We made use of the log burner, and the place was lovely and warm in no time. The hot tub was simple to use, but did take longer to heat up than expected. Fab stay, can’t complain. Would recommend.

We had. a wonderful three nights at the Tub for Two. Everything to enable a truly off grid experience in a beautiful location. The accommodation is warm and cozy. The wood fired tub, delightful. The views, amazing. Gabbie is a friendly and attentive host. Thoroughly recommended!

What a perfectly exquisite hideaway for one or 2 people. Beautiful garden and amazing views of the church. Totally private and secluded. 15 mins walk to the seafront. Bed was incredibly comfortable and it was very homely. Immaculately laid out and well presented and decorated.

Lovely stay with lovely hosts. Great location for the Cardiff City Stadium and Canton area. Lots of care and attention has been put in to building the Amex and they are very attentive and sociable hosts. Even provided a thoughtful breakfast and nice coffee. Would stay again :)

I had a 2 day solo stay . can't recommend enough this spot . lots of walks , waterfall around . very calm clean and wonderful location. I even managed a climb up pen y fan only 45 mins drive and it was absolutely stunning . can't wait to be back .

A lovely spot hidden away with all the amenities you need, its really quiet there too. My son and I stopped off here after a day riding at bike park Wales, 10-15 minute drive and we were through the gates unpacking the car. The secure armour box for the 2 bikes was perfect. We had the en-suite cabin, but could have easily used the shower block across the path if needed. The small visitor store cupboard was brilliant and the drying room would have been handy if we were wet. The cabin was clean, warm and the beds were super comfortable.

Fantastic place to stay, highly recommend! Lovely accommodation, nice en suite. Each pod has its own combi boiler so good water pressure and hot water means lovely warm showers! Our pod stayed warm thanks to the central heating despite it being cold outside. And the place is dog friendly with wood floors making it easy to clean up our muddy paw-prints. Comfy bed with decent pillows and duvet. Having a fridge and a two-hob burner was very helpful for cooking breakfast each morning. Ate out for dinner at the nearby pubs each evening where the food was very good (at The Angel Inn and The Old White Horse, both only a 20min walk away!) Greay walks nearby, some to drive to and other from your doorstep. We drove to the 4 waterfalls walk (short drive away,) then the following day climbed Pen y Fan (30 min drive away), and last day went for a walk straight from the pod up the river next to the Angel Inn which was also lovely.

Perfect base to explore this part of Wales, walks from the pods as well so didnt always need to use the car. Got down to -3 overnight but the pod stayed very warm and cosy. Good facilities in the pod. Nearby amenities such as supermarket, takeaways and pubs as well

The pod was a great peaceful weekend away. It has everything you need and the bed was really comfortable. Very easy to find, along with helpful instructions, and good location for exploring Bannau Brycheiniog, or Pembrokeshire if you don't mind a drive.

Stunning location. Clean, tidy and warm pod. Stacey was very helpful. We will definitely be back to explore the waterfalls.

We had a fabulous weekend! The pods are in an ideal location and in a peaceful and relaxing setting, it was very clean and had everything you need for a short break. The owners are friendly and helpful, the trail guides were extremely useful. We used the pods as a walking base to do to the Sychryd Trail and Dinas Rock which took around an hour, and from the pods into the village to do the Elidir Trail (5 leisurely hours round trip).

Absolutely lovely place, went with my friend but really looking forward to taking my family, communication was great, lovely lay out, warm and cosy. I’m looking forward to coming again. Thanks for a lovely memory
