Oasis for sure! This place was so cute. Paula created a mountain cabin in the middle of the desert. All of the little touches including a welcome gift basket, designer soaps in the bathroom, and a coffee bar delight made this the perfect getaway for my family while we explored the nearby Death Valley National Park.

Great place to stay for DVNP. Reminder to grab your groceries before heading to Beatty. As well, super important, it goes without saying, to have lots of gas/battery before heading into DVNP, especially if you are leaving at night. Very, very easy to miss turn offs and not a lot of signs.

Mikel’s home is everything and more in person! We really enjoyed all of the art and little touches through that make this house so special. We also loved that we all three had our own clean rooms and when in the kitchen and living room you can still talk and see each other for conversation! Felt very safe and the communication was top notch. 10/10 recommend!! Go to the VWF for food and the local experience. Beatty is a special small town! Thank you for the memories!

We loved our stay at Gayle’s place. The house was really clean and organized. The instructions throughout the house were really clear and helpful on where to look for anything that we could possibly need. We specially loved the kitchen. We love cooking and we found all the spices and supplies that I could ever imagine while our stay there. The house is stuffed with anything any family would need at home. Just pack your clothes and you are all set. Highly recommend her place.

Amazing place! The instructions were simple and the location was easy to find, even at night. Unit was spotless, very bright lighting inside, comfortable bed, wonderful bathroom, and very high ceilings. It was the quintessential perfect studio apartment with other features we didn’t have time to enjoy. This stop is at the perfect distance from a trip to Death Valley. Can’t recommend this place enough for the price & value, flexible checking in & out times, as well as the location.

Comfortable, casual place. Everything basic that we needed. Kitchen well equipped, many spices and even some staple foods and coffee. Best if you check in during daylight as key box and fence were a challenge in the dark. Excellent washer/dryer.

Picked this spot because it was in between Las Vegas and Death Valley. It was a perfect location halfway. Found everything there great- only thing was I had to go buy a blanket to use for sleeping on the futon as I let my daughter use the bed on the loft. The ladder is a little tricky to go up and down but hey, I am 58 years old! My daughter had no trouble with it.

Alex and Jhemma’s place is perfect for visiting Dead Valley. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking your own meals. We really felt at home!
