Wonderful home that serves as a great launch pad to the city! The home itself is a must see in Porto! And a special shout out to the wonderful host who went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience!

All in all a very nice stay. The house is very spaceous.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa dos Olivais! Exactly as described—clean, cozy, & fantastic location. As beautiful as the photos are, the place is even more breathtaking in person. All of the amenities were great esp. it being so well equipped for cooking. If that isn’t your thing don’t worry there are some nice food spots a skip away. The place was very clean, bright & helps to completely unplug if need be. If you’re considering, book it! You will not regret the experience. Leading up Afonso ensured we had details needed for not only a seamless check in but had great advice for places to eat, on parking & gave appropriate heads ups for other practical aspects. Notes: Those booking & renting a car parking is not immediately outside but it was easy enough to find free spots close by. There will be a little bit of a walk on cobblestone if you’ve got luggage. Overall, it was a fantastic experience & we didn’t want to leave. I would definitely recommend it to others looking to stay.

Our stay was excellent! Elsa was over the top in every way! We had a gift of wine and custard tarts when we got there, Elsa arranged a reservation at an amazing restaurant and she responded quickly to any inquiry. Would definitely come back to this beautiful sanctuary.

We had a lovely stay at Francisco's beautiful home. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked with all that a family of 6 would need. Our kids really enjoyed the lower level playroom and the outdoor space and pool. The hosts shared local recommendations and even provided a few welcome treats and wine which we appreciated. Francisco was extremely responsive and came by within minutes when we had a question about something in the house one morning. The area is quiet but on the outskirts of many of the sights of downtown Porto. Something to be aware of if you're looking for an area that is walkable or closer to the activities around town. You will need to Uber (minimum 10-15 minutes) to get to most nearby Porto attractions. Great house and pretty decent location if you don't mind being a bit further away from the city center.

Bettina and her mother welcomed us with warm smiles, greetings and delightful local Portuguese wines and fruits. It felt like home. It had everything we needed and more! The Douro team checked in daily to make sure we had what we needed. We would stay here again! Local bakeries and restaurants were delicious and fairly priced. We walked to Porto across the bridge. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. The owners of the local coffee shop, Cafe Christina, across the street were very nice and accommodating when it rained and we waited to check in. Most shops accept Euros versus credit cards. We would stay here again if in Porto. Very convenient to local wine shops, Gaia shopping/dining area. We loved it! Our kids loved the foosball and ping pong table and games available at the apartment. Thank you to the Douro team for their generous hospitality and wonderful accomodations

Nou, wat een geweldige locatie in authentiek Porto! Een alles super schoon en alles bij de hand. Zelfs en mixer, die kapot was, meteen vervangen…. Wat een service. We waren met 2 pubers en 3 volwassenen, maar bij thuiskomst zeiden we tegen elkaar, dat deze 5 onvergetelijke vakantie-dagen super waren: ‘s morgens met de uitstekende uitgebreide tips van Nuno erop uit en daarna heerlijk genietend van tapas bij het zwembad! Nuno is een geweldige gastheer!!! Echt een aanrader!!!

Perfect place for exploring Porto! The host was really helpful with a map of local recommendations, water & wine on arrival and a bag drop off service. Would highly recommend.

Loved it. Playing tennis from sunset to 5am (floodlights). Bbq on the terrace. Rooms were clean. Everything about this place was perfect. We even got some tasty baked goods every morning delivered to our door Easy to get ubers and uber eats. All the boys had a great time and want to go again. Its a great villa to just chill in, you dont get bored. Loved every minute.

Very cozy apartment in an old building with a good outdoor space. Rui was an excellent host and very responsive to any request, including getting us a new kettle! He was friendly and offered us lots of information about the city and neighbourhood. Pet-friendly was a huge bonus. The house is smaller than it seems in the photos but it is liveable and comfortable. There is a small gas heater for those chilly or damp nights. The two bedrooms was a huge plus. Kitchen had everything we needed as did the bathroom. The back garden was a nice place to relax on a sunny day. The neighbourhood is very walkable and close to all sorts of things like the metro, buses, cafes, supermarkets, parks, and restaurants. It doesn't take long to walk anywhere, or to take a bus into centro. The street is small and a very large car may have a problem parking there, but we didn't. We liked that the neighbourhood isn't too busy and is mostly residential. We would definitely choose this place again.

Recomendo o espaço da Claudia, pois é altamente confortável, todo equipado, espaçoso e um verdadeiro lar fora de casa, a recepção pela sua família foi um destaque a parte, me senti em um ambiente familiar. Obrigado Claudio e família.

Beautiful property with a peaceful, welcoming energy. Ideal for digital nomads looking to work and enjoy the beach down the road. The host is lovely to chat with and I had a great time meeting her dogs. They also run a surf school! I’d definitely return to enjoy how creative this accommodation is and relax for a few days.

Eine tolle Unterkunft. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, hell und sehr schön eingerichtet. Auch die Badezimmer sind ausreichend groß und die Raumaufteilung ist perfekt. Es gibt viel Platz für alle Personen und genug Räume, um sich auch mal aus dem Weg zu gehen. Die Küche bietet sehr viel Platz und insbesondere Kühlschrank und Gefrierschrank sind erwähnenswert. Der Jacuzzi ist ein toller Bonus! In die Altstadt läuft man ca. 20-30 Minuten, was aber überhaupt kein Problem ist, zumal es hauptsächlich bergab geht. Für den Rückweg kann man aber problemlos die Metro oder ein Taxi nehmen. In der direkten Umgebung (3 Minuten zu Fuß) gibt es einen Lidl Markt und andere Supermärkte. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen und würde sie jederzeit wieder buchen! Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!!

nous avons passé un très bon moment. le logement est très propre, fonctionnel et joli il est également très bien placé par rapport au centre de Porto (seulement à une station de métro) Eddy est réactif et gentil. Merci beaucoup pour ce joli. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Recomendo muito este espaço para quem for visitar o Porto. Não é numa zona central mas é só atravessar a rua e tem uma paragem de autocarro e descendo a rua está a paragem do metro. Anfitriões atenciosos e simpáticos, disponibilizaram-nos todas as informações necessárias. Apartamento igual às fotos, estava tudo impecável quando chegamos e é um espaço bastante acolhedor! Se tiver possibilidade, quando regressar ao Porto, já sei onde ficar

Great host. Very responsive and accommodating. The house was very nice and as expected. In a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood, but close to many restaurants and cafes. I would definitely stay there again.

Een ideaal plekje, een fijn huis met ruimte, om met een gezin met grotere kinderen een vakantie te beleven: voor ieder wat wils! Met de trein ben je vlot in het levendige Porto, altijd een Bolt-driver in de buurt om je naar fijne plekjes te brengen zoals strandje aan de Douro (Arnelas) of de wat avontuurlijkere plekken als de Arouca-bridge, als evengoed genieten van prachtige zonsondergangen, heerlijke koffietjes en golven trotseren op amper 1 duin afstand. Antonio heeft ons heel goed ontvangen en reageerde steeds erg vlot

Super sejour logement tres propre fidèle aux photos. Rien ne manque et la terrasse est un vrai plus.Susana est toujours là si on a besoin et nous a gâté a l arrivée et pendant le séjour. Je recommande ++++++++ nous reviendrons sans aucun doute

We just loved Arturs home so spacious and cool loved all the bathrooms being a group of 7 women. Artur so responsive and helpful at all times. There are 2 great restaurants nearby and handy to main centre. Can't recommend highly enough!

Die Unterkunft war super! Wir wurden persönlich von Ana und ihrem Mann empfangen und sie haben uns viele hilfreiche Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und hatte eine tolle Lage! Definitiv weiter zu empfehlen:)!!

Todo ha sido perfecto. El anfitrión muy amable y atento. Nos hemos sentido muy agusto y la casa es como se describe y acogedora. Estuvimos muy contentos. Volveríamos sin duda.

Daniel's house is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from Estação D. João II in Vila Nova de Gaia, making it extremely convenient for visiting Porto. Parking was not an issue, we easily left our car parked near the house and used the metro to explore the city. The house itself is spotless, very well maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Daniel is an exceptional host very attentive, helpful, and always quick to respond. Our stay was wonderful, and we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
