Absolutely perfect spot for a winter getaway! The coziest cottage with stunning views to enjoy while we relaxed for the weekend. Everything was perfect and Corinna’s attention to detail and sweet little add ons made it so. She was super helpful and responsive with anything we needed. Look forward to coming back to experience this place in a different season!

Words don’t even describe this place! From the beginning, Kary was incredibly responsive, kind and helpful. The home is exactly what you see, but the views outside are absolutely breathtaking. We came in the winter to experience winter, and watching the snow fall in the warmth of a fire inside was delicious. I highly recommend this spot and plan to return in the summer someday!

Es wahr einfach wunderbar! Sehr sauber und es wahr alles da was man braucht! Sogar Waschtabs für die Wäsche! Wir wahren zwei Wochen unterwegs und wollten uns eine gemütliche ruhige bleibe gönnen! Die Erwartungen haben sich übertroffen! Nick wahr immer erreichbar und hat und per Nachricht alles gut erklärt! Hat auch zwischendurch nachgefragt ob alles gut sei. Was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Immer wieder gern!

We had such a wonderful and restful visit. The beach is a nice walk. The neighborhood quaint. This is very good value.

C’est un très bel endroit paisible, on peut faire du kayak juste en face du logement pour voir le coucher de soleil ou faire une petite excursion ! Nous y sommes resté avec notre bébé de 1 an pendant une semaine, on aurait aimé rester plus longtemps.

Great spot for our weekend trip to Port Hawkesbury. Tim's place was exactly as described and perfect for our family. Spotless clean and most definitely recommended for any visits to the area. Thanks for the stay.

I rented the farmhouse for my mom, sister, and nephews to stay in over the holidays. Ashley was a fantastic host. There was a Christmas tree, a hot chocolate bar for the kids, and holiday treats for us to enjoy. Not to mention fresh eggs in the fridge and honey from her bees. She even left Christmas colouring pages with the kids in mind. A very thoughtful host! The house has everything you might need during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and the space was so clean and tidy. Lots of space for our family. We also enjoyed the hot tub! Would 10/10 recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in the area!

I had a group of four families (with young children) stay at both the eagle and the sun house. The houses were very clean and spacious. We had plenty of room for our group and even had multiple unused bedrooms. The view is spectacular from both houses - especially the sun house. The pictures don’t do it justice. There’s no air conditioning in the houses, but we were kept cool by opening the windows and using the many fans that were provided in the rooms. It was fine during our stay, but I could imagine the upstairs rooms may get stuffy if you happen to visit during a particularly warm period. There’s a walk down the hill to the beach on the lake, and the beach is rocky so don’t expect to bring young kids swimming. Even if you’re feeling adventurous you’ll need water shoes to get around. Overall a great experience and a good way for a large group to visit Cape Breton
