Porter’s property is beautiful and peaceful. It was a great getaway for us. There was everything we could need and elevated amenities while being off grid. Porter was extremely helpful upon our arrival when we got our car stuck - which was avoidable and entirely our fault! He assisted us without hesitating, got our car unstuck, and saved us from a chaotic first day! We will be staying here again!

Olivia’s cabin was so cute! We really enjoyed our time there. It was so quiet and peaceful and perfect for a reset away from the city!

Such a lovely place. A simple but beautifully appointed cabin surrounded by truly stunning nature - River, woods, large rocks, nearby gorgeous hikes. The beds were so cozy - we had the best sleep there! And the fireplace was so lovely, especially on cold and rainy nights. It was a perfect place to greet the New Year. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

Adored it, the cabin was cozy and the hot tub was divine in the snow. Wasn't quite as secluded as it appeared in the photos, but still felt very private. My wife and I are already talking about coming back!

Marta’s cabin was perfect for a long weekend escape for two families each with a toddler. Wish we could have stayed longer! We loved curling up by the fire place, listening to records (great collection, thanks!), playing games and puzzles, and soaking in the hot tub after the kids went to sleep. The kitchen was stocked with everything that one could need for cooking. Marta was responsive to any questions that we had prior to our arrival and during our stay. We were lucky enough to be there during a big snowfall and the kids loved playing in the snow outside - a plow came and the staircase was shovelled the next day so that we were able to get our cars out. Would definitely return!

This place is a hidden gem in a great location, especially if you live ski or other winter sports (perfectly located close to several mountains). Regarding the property, it was pristine clean, well arranged and had everything we needed (or even more). The rooms were comfortable and the hot tub was a great touch. I would completely recommend this place to anyone visiting west mass, will not disappoint.

Our stay was excellent! We really needed a place to relax and stay in contact with nature! Everything was great from the cabin to the hot tub, fire pit and bbq area! Smooth check in and check out - instructions are very well done! Cabin had everything we need it and bed was very comfortable! We’re definitely coming back! Thank you!!

Donna's place was a wonderful weekend stay! Beautiful property and guest house. Well appointed and care for. Just a few improvements that would have made our stay even better--a small microwave for quick reheating of coffee/leftovers, a luggage rack and place to store/hang clothes, and ensuring the driveway and a walking path are cleared of snow even when out of town (with thawing and refreezing, we had to navigate two inches of solid ice, which was terrifying both on foot and in the car).

Darin, our host was exceptional! This is a hidden gem in Woodstock that I would highly recommend to anyone. It’s setup to be enjoyed for a family but can easily be a getaway for a solo traveler. Plenty to explore around the area and would return again in the future!

My family and I had a lovely time at Jon’s cabin. The cabin is so cozy and secluded yet 5 minutes or less from the main strip in Woodstock. The cabin has everything you’ll need for your stay and is decorated with Jon’s Grandfather’s artwork which was really cool to see. We would definitely recommend staying at Jon’s cabin, we felt right at home and would 100% stay again when back in the area. Jon is a wonderful host. Thank you for having us!

Kate was so responsive and kind and made us feel very welcome. The house is full of charm and so cozy. We spent our vacation spread out on comfy couches around the big woodstove. The area is beautiful and peaceful, I loved taking my dog for walks down the road and letting him run around the woods in the backyard. Everything was clear and well communicated and we felt right at home. Thank you Kate!

We had a great stay at Maplecrest. The cabin is cozy if a little more rustic than the pictures show. Great wifi, responsive, friendly hosts and a beautiful location. As a sidenote, we had dinner at the nearby Restaurant Matilda in Hensonville (co-owned by the hosts) and it was one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had.

If you're looking for a place to get away get in touch with nature and still be connected with good wifi and everyhting you need for a stay. In addition just a 10 min drive will bring you to restaurants, and shopping stores that can be walked to once you park your car. It was great for what we needed. It is perfect amount of space for a couple or a small group of friends that don't mind sharing a space.

The cabin was incredible! So beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures. I loved the way the space was decorated! The location was very private and serene. The host was very friendly and gave very clear check in/check out instructions which was greatly appreciated. I will be back!

Absolutely beautiful cabin in a quiet, beautiful town. The heating kept the cabin extremely cozy and the surrounding forest was breathtaking. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, simple getaway from the busy city. Also, Stacey was very nice, communicative, and made sure we had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Cannot say enough good things!!!

Absolutely perfect. Don't pass up the opportunity to stay at this cabin! She describes it well, beautiful view, private, stunning view. Towpath landing is so cool and Christine has a vision. I was a victim of Hurricane Helene, Christine had such a heard and genuinely cared for me, giving me a place to stay and heal, recover. Highly recommend staying here, supporting the property and it's heart. Not like other places in all the best ways. You'll feel at home, cozy, welcome, relaxed the whole time. The sun room was just the best for sipping coffee and watched leaves fall. Thanks so much for an incredible stay! Can't wait to come back and tell others to visit!

We had a wonderful visit to Alissa’s cabin! It was just what we needed while visiting friends in the area for the holiday. Quiet, comfortable, and plenty of room to explore outside. Would love to stay here again on our next visit!

Nothing but great things to say about this Airbnb. The house was absolutely beautiful and so cozy. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with pretty much everything you need. The hosts were also incredibly helpful and responded right away whenever we had questions or issues with anything. Highly recommend this Airbnb. I hope to come back one day!

Our family had an amazing stay here! Brian and his family were great hosts. We had everything we needed for a winter getaway. Brian was very responsive to our messages and made sure we had everything we needed. Their home was beautiful and we would definitely stay here again! We loved all the personal touches, like the guest book to fill out before we left and the information booklet with their family story. Could not recommend this house enough.

This place was perfect for a peaceful weekend getaway. On the chilly fall weekend the wood stove and sauna were much enjoyed. We hope to return!

This house is perfect and absolutely beautiful. It is set away from most which is just what we wanted for a relaxing weekend away. The hosts Michael & Amanda are so responsive and helpful with anything you could possibly need. Beds were comfy, heat worked perfectly fine, more than enough space for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. The kitchen has all the basics needed to cook, towels and necessities for showering, and wood for the fireplace. All in all, we had a great time and loved staying here. We can’t wait to book the farmhouse next! Thank you to awesome hosts!!

This was my 2nd time staying here and it was just as great! This time it was during the winter when I really needed to rely on the woodstove for heat. That stove gets cranking after a good layer of hot coals are established. I have to say, though, the only thing I would love to see is a damper/flue on the stove. Without those them it causes a lot of smoke to come out into the cabin when adding wood/tending to the fire. I feel it would help control the level of heat and smoke that much better. Everything else was absolutely perfect. I can’t wait for my 3rd stay.
