We had an amazing stay at the Jackalope Lodge. Shawn is a fantastic host, responds quickly and was friendly and efficient when he met us to show us around. The cottage and the grounds are wonderful. We celebrated the New Years with my extended family, 13 of us! There were comfortable beds for everyone and plenty of cozy space to enjoy. The hot tub and sauna are clean and well kept and great to enjoy in winter. The outdoor space is wonderful - we saw beautiful wildlife in the water and the fire pit area is phenomenal. The kitchen is well equipped - you can cook pretty much anything as well as bbq on the large deck. We highly recommend - you will not be disappointed. :)

The place was really nice for a weekend getaway with the dogs it was perfect for resting and the drive wasn't to far from places.

My husband and I stayed for three nights with our one year old. It was a great space for kids - open concept, easy to “baby proof” just by closing doors and blocking a few outlets. The space was quite clean, but a little worn (cabinets peeling, scuffs on the wall, broken floor board) - the pictures make it look “picture perfect”, which I’m sure it did before lots of guests! Overall it is still a very nice space. It is quite close to neighbours so not overly private, but we still found it quite peaceful and the fence around the yard does make it feel more private. The view was beautiful. Definitely on our list of “would stay again”!

Our couples weekend at Stephanie's place was lovely. The space was exactly as advertised and we enjoyed the nearby nordic ski trail.

First of all, our hosts were super friendly, welcoming and easy to get along with. We were welcomed with a note and a treat, the electric fireplace was on and the place was spotless and super cozy. There's a little (super cute) instruction booklet to make every thing easy to use and figure out. Everything from the coffee machineS (yes, plural) to the spa were working great. The view from the dining room is spectacular. We were able to walk down to the river and do some cross country ski with our 3 kids, we used the skating rink on site and just enjoyed everything inside and outside. Close by are ski hills, supermarkets and nice walking trails. We'll definitely be going back to enjoy it in the summer as well!

Girls weekend here was fantastic! Very comfortable and clean cottage. Beautiful views. Love the large deck, enclosed porch and big kitchen. Would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful stay at Eliane’s place! The cottage was very comfortable, very spacious, well decorated and very clean. The place is very quiet and peaceful and has a beautiful view on the Ottawa River. We would stay there any time again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was even nicer in person compared to the photos. Great attention to detail. The beds were very comfortable with softer & firmer pillows. The wood stove by the big TV and cushy couch was great. The hot tub was amazing. Lake side view off the deck was very nice. Strongly recommend. We’d love to come back.

Everything about our stay was exceptional from the minute we arrived! It was the perfect fall getaway, with a cozy place to stay especially with the beautiful fall leaves changing around us. It was close and convenient to pop in to town, and we just had the best visit! The cottage was well maintained, clean and organized with everything we needed. The hosts were helpful, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our trip. I can’t say enough good things - we couldn’t have picked a better place for our stay!

Lovely cottage on lake Mississipi that was perfect for 4 people and our puppies. Wonderful communication and easy check in and out process. Good distance from Carleton which has access to all you need. cozy stay.

It was a perfect little place for me to stay for the week. Started out each day going next door to the bakery restaurant for coffee and breakfast. Hosts were on their game. All was good.

Had an amazing stay! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the place was super peaceful and cozy. Perfect spot to just chill and unwind. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with some incredible scenery. Erica is a great host!

Nikki’s place is definitely a five star plus. The house is large, open concept, comfortable, and had everything we desired. The master bedroom has a queen bed and patio doors leading out to the deck. We loved the walk-in rain shower in the ensuite and the laundry room off the master bedroom. The kitchen’s island was perfect for our morning coffee and the formal dining room for our dinner. It was wonderful to sit on the leather couches and watch the sun rise. We enjoyed our walks around the property and to the conservation area.

Beautiful location, private, fantastic waterfront/ decks. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Great communication and they were very thoughtful. The cottage was well stocked, very spaceous and very comfortable. A new favorite spot for our family!

Cet endroit est un total retour aux sources, à la nature. Leurs animaux m'ont vraiment éblouie! J'y retournerai c'est certain pour plus de jours! Mon frère aussi a adoré! We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back! We did have an issue with water access during our stay due to frozen pipes, but the hosts were very responsive and it was outside of their control. The cabin is cute and cozy with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Beautiful property which was fun to explore even in the winter. Did I mention the view of the stars at night?! Absolutely stunning. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Laura’s cottage. It had everything we needed for our relaxing weekend getaway. We sat on the dock and enjoyed the quiet lake even if it was during the winter. The house was fully equipped with all the essentials and everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was warm, spacious, and welcoming, providing a truly supportive atmosphere. The hosts were very responsive and attentive, making the experience even better. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in!

We enjoyed the area very much, the amenities that are offered are well maintain and clean. It is very quiet and that's why we enjoyed it, as we were looking for a relaxing place to go.

Scott was flexible and accommodating to our needs. He responded to questions and messages quickly and was proactive in providing information. This ensured we felt more at home during our stay as we weren’t scrambling to find information. This is such a peaceful property - secluded, quiet, and has views of the Quyon ferry in the distance (but not close enough to see passengers or them see you). Definitely recommend this spot for a girls get away or a family week away.

Dayna and David are INCREDIBLE hosts. They took care of every detail and looked after us when we were effectively snowed in. Their home is creative, beautiful, peaceful, spacious. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The whole neighbourhood is gorgeous and talk about lovely people! We want to come back in the summer. And the sauna! Let me tell you, in the winter, this was the sweetest treat. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience and how we were treated - like close friends. They get my highest recommendation.

We had a wonderful time soaking in the hot tub and taking the spectacular scenery. The place was spotless, had everything we needed, and the views from the living room, deck, and fire pit were so beautiful we didn’t want to leave. My group of ladies have stayed in a number of wonderful places and this was our favourite so far.
