Great private place that offers everything you want for a weekend getaway! Host was very helpful and responded within minutes to all our questions. Highly recommended!

Our family group, 4 adults and 1 seven-year-old child, stayed for six nights in July at Serene Lakefront Haven in Val-des-Monts, Quebec. We were looking for a well-equipped home by a beautiful, quiet swimmable lake not too far from our own home in Ottawa. Nadine's place was perfect for us. The lake was surrounded by tall trees and not very deep, which was excellent for our young swimmer. Motor boats were not allowed on it, so peace reigned day and night, and a number of boats were available for us to use. Everybody, young and old (from 7 to 74) enjoyed the lake. Outside there was also a trampoline! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals. In addition, there were games and toys for all ages, and the television came with Netflix, Disney Plus, and a variety of DVDs. The house was clean when we arrived and the house manual provided accurate, useful information. Nadine answered all questions promptly and thoroughly. Five stars --- well-deserved!

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

Un vrai petit coin de paradis. Le chalet est niché dans un écrin de verdure à quelques dizaine de mètre d'un bras de rivière dont vous pourrez pleinement profiter depuis le ponton privé. Le chalet est cosy, très bien équipé, la terrasse permet de se détendre aux sons de la nature. Pam et Isabelle sont des hôtes adorables qui prennent à coeur de vous faire découvrir les bonnes adresses de la région et vont tout faire pour que vous passiez un agréable séjour. Bref le lieu idéal pour faire une halte reposante auprès de mère nature.

We had a great time at Andrew’s cottage. The place is lovely and super clean. Andrew’s instructions to reach the cottage were very useful and clear. We spent all the daylight hours in the backyard by the river - what an amazing space - so many different options for just sitting around!! My whole family loved kayaking in the river (current is not strong) - kayaks, paddles and life jackets (even kids size) were provided. Our 5 year old loved the trampoline. Sunsets were spectacular. The cottage itself is super comfortable, very clean, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. The living area has a large picture window - perfect to sit by, sip a hot drink and watch the geese on the river when it is still cold to be outside. Overall great stay and would love to come back for a longer duration.

Jane’s cabin was perfect for our family getaway! We enjoyed the view of the water and taking long dog walks in the bush. Sitting in front of the log fire with my coffee was my favourite thing. Jane was very responsive and helpful letting us check in early. We highly recommend Jane’s cabin. We had a fabulous stay.

Randa Catherine's apartment is in a great part of town, within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very clear instructions, would recommend for a short stay.

Jeremy was a great host. His place is beautiful and made for a great winter getaway.

This is a beautiful, hidden gem in the Village of Waddington, NY. The apartment has a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River a gorgeous patio and access to the river. It is beautifully decorated, everything inside is new, we felt we were the first to visit! Finally I can't say enough great things about our hostess, Michele, she made our stay very comfortable! Thank you, we'll be back!

I really enjoyed my stay at Sam's place. the location was fantastic with some excellent restaurants just a few minutes away. The apartment was easy to find and the electronic locks made it easy getting in and out as needed. There is a single spot for parking that worked just fine for us. The apartment itself was clean and both bedrooms were decently sized. It does have a shared bathroom, but as long as you are ok with that, the place was great. Looking forward to stay here again next time I am in Ottawa.

The house is outstanding. Everything you need for a perfect stay. Beds are very comfortable and we all slept well. Kitchen fully equipped. Super clean and beautifully decorated. The views are incredible. Hosts were very responsive plus gave us tips of places to eat and told us things that are going on in the area. Super friendly. We will definitely be back to stay again. Highly recommend you visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Andres was very accommodating with my very last minute request to book a one night getaway surprise for my girl friend and I. He was quick to respond and confirm with any questions I had about the kitchen and the beautiful lake front surroundings. The pool table was in pretty decent shape, and would fare or beat out most local pool halls. There was one cue that was in top condition and not warped at all, which allowed me to teach my partner how to play for her first time. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need to cook a Michelin star meal. We forgot our seasoning and spices, but the loft fortunately had a supply of salt pepper and olive oil. Despite what the description of listing said, we had no issue with accessing hot water, but that may have been a result of lucky timing. With the mentioning of hot water, the hot tub was easy to operate and very quickly came up to temperature and had good lighting with an awesome and romantic view of the lake.

Notre séjour as été confortable et reposant. Les lits étaient très confortable, les lieux étaient très propres et l'hôte était réactive rapidement. Nous avons vécu un incident lors de notre départ car notre voiture ne démarrait pas. Anik nous as rassurer que nous pouvions demeurer à l'interieur au chaud en attendant de l'aide. Merci Anik!

We had a great stay at Kelly's! We came to visit family and wanted a place on or near the river with easy access for ice fishing. The fish weren't biting, probably due to the storm. However we saw many perch and pike on our underwater camera. Kelly was amazing in letting us come a night early with short notice due to a snow storm moving across southern ontario. We were able to bring our two dogs which made the trip so much easier knowing we didn't have to drop them off to family or friends. The space was large and well laid out for hosting our kemptville family for dinners. Beds were very comfortable! Due to a major snowstorm during our stay, we didn't go out much over the weekend however there were plenty of local restaurants we have visited in the past that we definitely would have went to if the roads had been better. Downtown Kemptville and Marrickville are both beautiful towns! The Ferguson forest is just around the corner and great for taking the dogs for forest walks.

Had a great weekend getaway. The cottage is true to the pictures with an added bonus of waking up to a beautiful scenic view from bed. Very relaxing peaceful weekend what more could you ask for! Kim and Scott always answered any questions I had very quickly. Looking forward to returning next year.

Constance Bay cottage was a perfect getaway! We stayed in the winter but could only imagine how nice it would be in the summer. The restaurant right across the road is so friendly and tasty food. The cottage had everything you need and beyond. The hosts were responsive and attentive to all our needs during our 2 week stay. It was nice to walk along the frozen shoreline and look out across the bay! Beds were very comfy and the whole place was clean. Would definitely recommend staying here summer or winter. Also, we were able to get Ubers to and from Kanata no problem.

Our group of 10 had a wonderful stay at Glenn's beautiful cottages. We were able to sleep 5 in each cottage with plenty of beds to spare. We enjoyed canoeing, swimming in the lake, grilling on the barbecue, and staying in playing board games when it rained. It would have been nice to have the hot tubs active during the rain, but we made do with the indoor jacuzzi tub! Glenn was super helpful, informative, and responsive which we all appreciated. And we loved that this was one of the only places around with a large enough kitchen table to seat everyone for a meal! Overall a very pleasant stay, highly recommended.

Our winter weekend away at Alain’s cottage was complete tranquility! -Gorgeous expansive views of the frozen Ottawa river. Occasionally a snowmobile would zoom by. -Quiet evenings in the hot tub gazing at the stars above -Ample towels in the linen closet -Toasty warm wood stove -Plenty of coffee and tea provided We loved our stay and hope to return next winter!!

We had a wonderful stay! We had gloriously warm, sunny weather every day, with not a drop of rain. It was just the two of us so we opted to stay in the beautiful, cozy boathouse. It had everything we needed. The summer kitchen is basic but very functional and served our needs. The boathouse is very private and the surroundings were quiet. Just be ready for the stairs down from the main house/parking area. They’re steep but well lit, with lots of handrails. There’s a very cool screened building halfway down too. The swimming is fantastic - it’s deep off the dock and the water was really clear. Every day we swam, lounged on the dock, had coffee on the balcony, took afternoon naps, BBQ’d, and enjoyed drinks by the campfire. A truly restful vacation. James was a great and very responsive host. We highly recommend staying here!
