My friends and I stayed here one weekend in early spring, and it was a fantastic experience! The area is beautiful and peaceful, and the house was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. My friends and I spent most of our time at the house playing board games, and the place felt perfect for this. There was plenty of space, both in the living room and the dining area, plus easy access to the nearby kitchen for snacks and refreshments. Nick, our host, was responsive with questions and small issues we had, and a great host in general. Overall, our stay was amazing and I would highly recommend this place for a quiet, peaceful getaway!

Corina was super responsive. Place couldn’t have been better for our needs. Cozy blankets were available to snuggle on the couch while watching March madness on the perfect sized TV. All the amenities we needed were provided.Beds and pillows were very comfy. Highly recommend and we would,o ego come back again!

This was our second time staying here for a family getaway and it was better than we remembered. The hosts were so great, very responsive and helpful. It snowed a bunch while we were here and they made sure we had what we needed and a plow came to help us get out of the driveway. The fireplaces are such a cozy touch and our dog loves the big fenced yard. We will be returning again!

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we had everything we needed. While the living room was a bit on the smaller side, the spacious dining area made up for it. The only downside was that we couldn’t open the windows during a couple of warmer days. We did find one fan in a closet, which helped a bit.

Place was really great for our family with 3 teenagers. A lot of space, clean, with a beautiful view on a huge garden ! Perfect location for discovering the area. Juan was very helpful, very easy to communicate. Thank you Juan !

We had a wonderful stay at Stony Hill in Pine Plains. The house was beautifully designed and well equipped for a winter jaunt with cooking at home and sitting by a warm fire. The hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout the process. Would love to come back again!

Elena's house turned out to be a great vacation spot for us. It was conveniently located, very well maintained and guest friendly. Though rustic on the outside, the interior was completely redone, offering all modern amenities you might want. Kitchen was better equipped than most Airbnb's we've stayed at and was fun for us to cook in Without getting into much detail I'll just say that should we be in the area again we'll definitely return to this Airbnb and always recommend it to others

Adele's place was lovely! It was clean, comfy, and had great energy. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms were all very efficient & clean. The living room area was very comfortable. The screened in porch was wonderful at sunset and into the evening. The patio + hot tub was perfect for morning coffee with the ducks in the beautiful creek/river! I've been an Airbnb host for 10 years so my standards are pretty high, and this was definitely one of the best experiences I've had as a guest! Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful stay at Scott’s place. Location was clean, comfortable and just as described. Scott was responsive and gave clear instructions that made our stay easy and relaxed. Would definitely recommend and stay here again

Had 3 wonderful nights here, took LIRR in & back to Manhattan twice & was able to catch some Broadway shows between my concert at the local historic Paramount Theatre John was a great communicator!! A+++

Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple friends. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Backyard and pool area was exactly what we were looking for with lots of space to lounge and relax. Lots of entertainment if you wanted to just hang inside as well. As some of the other reviewers noted, you can definitely hear the hosts move around upstairs. Didn't impact us too much except for Saturday morning. Was a little difficult to sleep in b/c of the noise.

Lovely quiet, pet-friendly place above the garage but note that there is a steep staircase to get up to the second floor. Very friendly hosts - greeted me on arrival and had left the door unlocked so entry was easy and the key was available for my use. Comfy bed, cozy and warm rooms with remote-controlled mini-splits in both the living room and bedroom. Bathroom with tub and separate shower - the water pressure was not as strong in the shower as I would have liked, but it was nice to have the skylight in there. My GPS found it easily but a larger sign with the house number would be helpful, especially at night. I would definitely stay there again.

Appartement très bien situé, conforme à la description et vraiment charmant. L'arrêt de bus pour se rendre à New York est tout proche, et plusieurs restaurants se trouvent à proximité. La propriétaire et son mari sont des personnes respectueuses, discrets mais très réactifs en cas de besoin. Ils nous ont même gentiment arrangé une sortie tardive. Je les recommande sans hésiter et je reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

We needed a place to stay locally at the last minute and Suzette's place was available for 3 nights. Even being locals, we thought the location was premium, being very close to the amenities of downtown Peekskill as well as the beautiful Blue Mountain Reserve area. There is a walkable trail right by the house. The pet friendly listing was another bonus as we needed to be with our cats. We would definitely stay here again if we were in a similar situation, and I can see how out of town visitors would enjoy it as well.

Nice place. I would go back again. It’s in a quiet neighborhood. Close to West Hartford center. The apartment is spacious, private, clean and well equipped.

We loved our stay at this cozy cabin nestled in the woods. It was peaceful and near a few really nice hikes and breweries (check out Arrowood Farms!). Perfect for our family getaway to enjoy some tranquility and the outdoors. Mai was communicative and helpful every step of the way. We'd definitely return for another visit!

The location was private, with very woodsy surroundings. The pond out back was a nice compliment to the entire feel of the place. The hot tub and wood stove also added to the comforts during our stay. All of the rooms were clean, and the bathrooms were spotless. The master bedroom was very nice with the vaulted ceiling and french doors leading to a small deck outside. Although we did not make use of it, the soaking tub in the master bathroom was clean and looked like it could have been very restful. The hot tub was probably the best feature that really took the experience over the top. The wood stove was great at keeping the living space warm on some of the cooler days and nights we had during our stay. Overall, we had an excellent time and this was just the place we were looking for to unwind and refresh mentally and physically.

This cabin was a blast from the past! The atmosphere was incredibly cozy perfect for unwinding and spending quality time with a partner (and even a furry friend, if you have one!). If you visit during the colder months, make sure to layer up, as it can get pretty chilly. Also, leave the “boujeeness” behind because this spot is as outdoorsy as it gets! A heads up the bathroom is located in an outhouse, so pack some flashlights because it gets pitch dark at night. Despite the natural spookiness of nighttime, the cabin is a fantastic way to travel back in time. Watching old movies on VCR, playing Madonna on tape, and almost going ballistic over Mario it was a nostalgic trip! If you’re looking for a unique and charming escape, you have to give this cabin a try. The only regret we have is not staying longer!

Another 5 star stay at Sticks and Stones. I will be back!!

What a magnificent spot! If nothing else, the creek next to the house was worth the price of admission. But the whole experience was fantastic. We filled the place up, and had a dozen more family members come for Thanksgiving dinner. It was cozy and the extra kitchen in the cabin was a godsend. We loved being there, and everything about our stay was perfect. Thank you!

This place was so peaceful and gorgeous! We stayed here during the A Weekend in the Life event and it was such an easy drive into town and to all the activities. The house itself had great amenities and things to do! During our stay, the heater did break, but our host was on top of it. The house has a pellet stove that kept it toasty, so she had 5 bags of pellets delivered to the house for us, she had someone come out and service the pellet stove and she had someone come out to service the heat all in one day! They were accommodating and helpful. We also had our dogs with us who has plenty of space and the airbnb didn’t smell like dog. You couldn’t tell it was a pet friendly place. We loved it!

We had an amazing valentines weekend and my dog couldn’t have had more fun ! This private cabin in the neck of the woods can truly be described as a real getaway ! It has a beautiful landscape and is strapped with everything we needed and more. After a full day of hikes in the local area, we found ourselves snowed in and enjoyed some card games. We had an outdoor fire in the stone pit and made some smores. Colleen and Julian were also super accommodating for us due to the weather conditions as well. They are beyond helpful ! Thank you guys ! Will definitely be back !

We loved celebrating my wife’s birthday at Tina’s home with our bichon frisée! Her home was so peaceful and we loved relaxing in the soaking tub, listening to music, and unwinding. It was the perfect weekend for staying in and reading books while surrounded by nature (and rain!). The home was easy to find and had everything you could need for a snuggly weekend in. We loved Red Hook - we have never explored it before! The shops are adorable. We hope to be back when it’s warmer to try the pool!
