Alojamientos vacacionales en Rio San Juan

Les bungalow en surplomb du lac avec hamac et chaises longues m'ont permis de me détendre avec une jolie vue à tout heure du jour et de la nuit, et c'est tout ce qui m'importait. J'ai apprécié nager jusqu'à la petite île en face de l'hôtel (20 minutes aller/retour), même si j'ai eu très peur en voyant un gros caïman, ou un crocodile, se jeter à l'eau juste devant moi ; ) J'ai aussi apprécié les ballades dans la belle nature environnante. Enfin la cuisine était bonne et restait à un prix correct pour un restaurant d'hôtel situé sur une île quasiment dépourvue d'autres options de restauration. Le logement en lui-même est assez spartiate (pas de miroir, par exemple), mais je n'en avais un peu rien à faire, de toute façon quand vous êtes là c'est de manière isolé et très tranquille, sans croiser grand-monde, et, associé au paysage, c'est un luxe. Enfin, la connexion internet Tigo, quoiqu'un peu lente, fonctionnait suffisamment bien pour faire ce que je voulais. Habitants sympathiques.

El hospedaje es perfecto, queda en medio de un hermoso y tranquilo poblado a la orilla del lago. Todo está lleno de flores, árboles y diferentes tipos de aves. La atención y apoyo de las personas en el hospedaje fue también invaluable. Volvería a hospedarme ahí sin dudarlo.

We spent 3 nights in this lovely Cabaña and wish we would have had more time there! The experience was absolutely amazing! :) Clean and cozy room, comfortable bed with mosquito net, super nice balcony, extremely lovely garden, and very friendly hosts. It felt like visiting close friends. Susanne cooks very good food (I am vegetarian and that was no problem at all), her husband likes to share stories about his life and their child is very cute. We did a chocolate tour with Susanne and made our own chocolate which was very interesting and so much fun! I also did horseback riding with them - friendly, well kept horse and nice surroundings for a ride. Susanne took us to the village several times and we were able to experience real Nicaraguan rural life. Would love to come back and would recommend this place 100%! By the way: Getting there was no problem at all: Just take the local bus to San Carlos and from there the bus to Sábalos stops right in front of the house if you tell them.

We were unable to complete our travel to San Carlos, but I can say unequivocally that Ernesto is an excellent communicator! His Englis is great, and his friendliness and very quick responses have been super helpful! We are hoping to get down to San Carlos soon, and Ernesto will be our first and primary choice!

Staying with Dennis and his lively family was wonderful in every aspect. The location is great, with the balcony overlooking the river and the sound of the nearby rapids putting us to sleep at night. There are plenty of comedores and small shops just meters away. All members of the family - Daisy, Dennis‘ wife as well as their four children - were friendly and open and it was great to talk to them or go for a little exploration. Thanks for the wonderful days!
