It's a beautiful property just outside of San Juan. We were able to get to the property easily by taxi, the entrance is a little hard to find in the dark but once we knew where it was, we were fine. a lot of our taxi drivers knew where to go. The room, food and view were amazing. I would highly recommend staying here especially if youre looking for a place to relax and do some yoga.

Stunning location. very friendly host as well as all other people we interacted with at the restaurant. Very cool scenery that you will likely not see anywhere else. We felt very welcomed.

Great and luxurious accommodation just a short walk from the village. The staff is very friendly and the view from the condo is breathtaking. The complex is quiet and we really enjoyed our time by the pool, the on site bar / restaurant and the friday movie nights. The internet is also fast and reliable. I strongly recommend.

This place is beautiful, the apartment was a new construction, with good taste , amazing amenities in the resort area , great view of the San Juan del Sur Bay and a friendly staff , my host Kayla was attentive, friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back .

We had an amazing time at Scott's condo in Nicaragua!! The condo was incredibly clean, modern, and quite beautiful. The views are outstanding- you can sit on the front porch in the morning with a cup of coffee watching the waves crash...really unbelievable. The condo had all the amenities we needed and more- plenty of dishwater, cooking supplies, etc. It was great being able to cook dinner in the condo and all sit together for a meal. Scott was super helpful in arranging all rides and answering all our questions and concerns throughout the trip! He responded very quickly! Scott went out of his way to make sure we were all set in everything we needed. I would recommend anyone to stay in this condo- family, couples, friends!! Truly amazing vacation!

We enjoyed staying at Toms place, it’s a full 3 bed/ 2 bath condo with ocean and pool view. The primary suite is very spacious with two closet areas a small safe in the closet. The bathroom shower hot water flow was intermittent but adequate. The WiFi was very fast. The kitchen was nice and clean, we made coffee in the morning which we purchased at the nearby store. It’s located in Rancho Santana which is secluded but beautiful place and the condo is walking distance to the main restaurant and the counter serve cafe where we ate our meals. There are also lots of activities that you can sign up for nearby at the front desk. It’s honestly a great space in a wonderful place!

This is my new favorite place to stay in SJDS. We were very satisfied with everything at La Santa Maria. The apartment was perfect, very comfortable and had an amazing view. The clubhouse was wonderful as well, an awesome pool, and the snack bar was a nice convenience. It’s located in the perfect place close to town but away from all the noise.

Everything about this stay was perfect. Tom is an amazing host. If we could, we would have given this stay a 6/5 rating. Above and beyond all around. Definitely check this place out! We will be coming back as soon and often as we can.

The views are STUNNING. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the tranquility of the property and helpfulness of the on-site property manager and other staff of the gated community. The drive from the main road is INTENSE. There’s no way to do it without a 4x4 vehicle. I highly recommend this place!

Great House! Good location, very close to Rancho Santana Club House. Has a nice terrace with a small pool and a view to the sea. Worth the value! Tom was very friendly and communicative.

We stayed for 4 weeks and absolutely loved the home. The views are unbelievable, the pool is perfect, the kitchen is well-equipped, lots of comfortable places to sit and relax, and the wifi was fast and reliable. Casa Francesca is the third home we have stayed in at Balcones, and had the best kitchen, pool, and wifi. We also really loved the water filter that allowed us to drink the filtered tap (in fact, we bought the same model to bring back to the US). All of the Balcones staff are very professional, and the regular cleaning of the home (2x/week) kept everything spotless. Mariluz always responded to our questions immediately and was very helpful. We hope to stay at Casa Fracesca again next year.

We had a very peaceful and relaxing time at Dan's place. We especially enjoyed using the natural outdoor workout spaces and lawn games with our children, in addition to the beautiful, private pool. The workout space was an additional feature, which made us feel better about spending a little more on the place. The walk down to the beach was easy and the smoothies at Juanita's kitchen were delicious! It was a little further to San Juan del Sur than I expected, so in the future I would not rely on eating out, and stock up on more groceries and have the host cook for us, like they offered. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a healthy get-away! The kitchen had an open concept cabin feel, and we enjoyed the various spaces to eat outdoors. The beds were comfortable. The upstairs room was a little noisy from the wind, but other than that we all slept well. I'm grateful to Dan for an amazing place to vacation!

John's Casita is a perfect two bedroom with 3 beds in the wonderful Rancho Santana resort. Lot's to do, great surf at 5 different breaks, but there is a lot else to do too. John is a great owner to work with. We have nothing but positive experience,. Will definitively use again. The Casita is located steps away from the main inn, but more secluded and private. It's garden and view a little slice of paradise. The food in the restaurants, cafe and Los Perros are outstanding as well, as is all the staff and service. But the Casita is also set-up for you to prepare your own meals if you like and there are numerous options for food sourcing. So we ate out sometimes and in sometimes. Everything is spotless and painless! John's rates are also very competitive for the area.

We spent our Christmas holidays at Casa Palmera and Casa Colibrí. Both homes together can accommodate up to 12 people and you have the pool all for yourselves. The surroundings are amazing! Expect lots of nature, a variety of birds, howler monkeys, and of course the most beautiful sunsets you have ever seen in your life. Make sure you bring everything you need for your stay, as you probably won’t want to drive to the town, the access is a bit complex and I highly recommend you drive a 4x4. Although, the new road under construction looks promising, so this may change in the next year or so… mosquito repellent is a most!
