We had a very nice stay at Casa Pocahontas and felt right at home. The house is decorated with a lot of love and is located about 10-15 minutes walk from Playa Maderas. We spent a lot of time in the open living area with the huge terrace. A great place to relax, read a book or watch the wildlife in the jungle. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were well equipped. There was even a yoga mat and blackrolls. If we had any questions, Sebastian was always available and due to the keybox the check in/out was very flexible and uncomplicated. We can only recommend the Casa and would definitely come back again.

This place checks all the boxes, which made for an epic trip with 5 of my good friends.

Ich habe mich gleich wie zuhause gefühlt. Das Haus wurde mit natürlichen Rohstoffen gebaut und ist sehr geräumig und schön. Maria hat uns immer sehr schnell geantwortet und weiter geholfen.

The location of the house was great with amazing views! The house was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped if you prefer to stay in and cook. The infinity pool was a definite plus. We ate at two of the four restaurants that Rancho Santa has to offer that were very good. The hosts were very responsive. I stayed with my family of 6 adults and 2 kids and we fit very comfortably. We would definitely stay there again!!!

We’ve stayed at many houses in Hacienda Iguana and this house was by far our favorite. It’s got an amazing layout and gorgeous furniture + comfortable beds. But I’ll always remember the spectacular wrap around screened in porches on both levels. We stayed with our 4 month old and it was so beautiful to give him his midnight bottle in an Adirondack rocking chair on the screened in patio off the main bedroom…precious ‘new mom moments’ under the moon, stars, with the sound of the ocean (you can hear the waves at Panga Drops surf break). The property is located directly across the dirt road from the most secluded part of the beach. We had gorgeous evening walks at low tide sunset and came home to cook dinners in the well appointed kitchen. We had coffee by the crystal clear pool in the mornings and really enjoyed being walkable to Rancho Santanas Taqueria + the cute restaurants in Iguana. Bonus: we decided to elope! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing stay! The house was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and filled with fun activities like Hook 21, cornhole, and mini-golf, which kept us entertained throughout. The outdoor kitchen and living area were the heart of the home, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time there. The location was absolutely perfect—we felt safe and relaxed the entire time. The host was incredibly attentive and responsive, going above and beyond to accommodate my elderly parents, which we truly appreciated. If you’re looking for a comfortable and fun getaway, this place is a perfect choice. Highly recommend!

Casa Teka was a splurge for our family but it was worth every penny. We had LOTS of room and the space is gorgeous and very well maintained. Whenever we had an inquiry it was answered VERY quickly. The housekeeper, Lupe, was incredibly kind and so thorough in her cleaning. Also the landscaper/pool cleaner made sure to keep the exterior looking its best. This space is located in a gated community so it is very safe and quiet. But on the other hand it’s not as close to those more authentic Nicaraguan experiences. The beach is stunning and there are some services available nearby. Thank you, Joel, for the wonderful stay.

Great location, the apartment is exactly what I thought it would be, clean, nice, stylish, organized. Benjamin is very responsive and friendly! Can’t complain! I come often to SJDS and definitely will be back at this place! I recommend it 1000%

Esta es la 4ta vez que me quedo en esta casa y la verdad es que me gusta mucho. Siempre tenemos una excelente atencion de parte de ellos. 100% recomendada. Mi familia y yo estamos muy contento de siempre alojarnos en esta casa.

Nos quedamos en la casa proxima a la piscina, el alojamiento cumplio con todas nuestras expectativas, es muy espacioso, la cocina tenía todo lo necesario para poder organizar nuestras comidas y las vistas son espectaculares. Las habitaciones tienen buen tamaño e iluminación. Además tuvimos la suerte de poder participar de un evento/encuentro que John había organizado y que incluía una cena muy completa en un ambiente súper familiar, recomiendo preguntar a John sobre sus eventos e intentar coordinar la estadía con uno de ellos para vivir esa experiencia también. Gracias por todo John, con seguridad volveremos!

Where do I even begin... I've traveled a lot, stayed in a wide variety of countries and homes, and I think this is among my top 3, if not my absolute favourite. We chose Jon's Villa Urraca for a small group of friends to celebrate my 50th birthday. We wanted something quiet and off the beaten path, with accessible amenities, comfort and simplicity. My group are all seasoned travelers, and it would be my first time to the Tola area in Nicaragua. Having come to Nicaragua for quite a few years, I expected a balance of comfort and challenges, but we found all of the former and none of the latter. Urraca is unique, with 3 separate self contained villas sharing a pool and very private beach, with a great restaurant and bar steps away, a beautiful sunset every night, and all the comforts one could expect. The local staff were amazing, helpful, and just as responsive as Jon throughout our stay. We can't say enough good things about our stay. Thank you Jon and team for an amazing experience!

What a wonderful place. The view is so beautiful. Everything about this place was perfect. Pool area is very nice. The walk to restaurants and stores is easy and short. We wanted to stay longer but the house had someone else coming in. I would highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed. Also, it is probably the best location to be. Go and enjoy!!!!

I had a wonderful experience staying at Casa Cooper from the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The check-in process was seamless, and Gabriel Zamora was incredibly communicative, providing clear instructions and responding quickly to any questions I had. The space itself was exactly as described; clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and comfortable beds. The private balconies and the kitchen ‘s stunning view was was breathtaking. The house wooden, charming vintage furniture, as well as its decorations really made the place feel special. I recommend this Airbnb to everyone.

Casa Makai was a true jungle paradise! The house itself was beautifully designed, even better than the photos, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was amazing, perfect for relaxing in the hammock. It's a short 10min walk to Playa Maderas (great for surfing) and 3 min walk to Buena Vista Surf Club (excellent yoga). Laura was a fantastic host, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Super beau séjour dans ce logement! Vue directe sur les deux volcans, calme et propre:) Nous avons loué un 4x4, l’idéal pour 2 personnes pour visiter et se rendre à des activités. Un gros merci!

Guasacate/Popoyo Are spectacular destinations. The beaches are amazing - surfing - swimming. Sunsets are stunning. Overall, a great place to be. Casa Margarita has everything you need and more. We were a family of 7 and were super comfortable, a beach front paradise, with everything that is needed. Yader and Alma were super helpful with everything we needed. Alma cooked for us One night and was the perfect evening of true Nicaraguan flavors. Donna was communicative throughout our stay and had amazing suggestions. 🙌❤️ Overall very happy Thank you

Super Unterkunft. Es hat einige Restaurants in der Nähe und auch einen Supermarkt in Lauf Reichweite. Zu Beginners Bay sind es etwa 20 Min. zu Fuss. Man kann entweder dem Strand entlang oder einer Strasse, welche auch an den Strand führt.
