Wow! What a place! It sounds a cliche but we will definitely be visiting again! Next time for more than one evening. We’re already looking through the diary for the next available weekend. It was everything we expected and more. We stayed as it was as close to an event we were attending that evening. Upon arrival we were worried about getting a taxi to an event as uber didn’t work well in the area. Jill (the host) kindly asked what time we needed to be there and what time we needed to be collected and she organised it all. She really went above and beyond what was expected and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for more

We had a wonderful and very relaxing stay at Willow Lodge, Emma was a great host and very helpful. The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed, the Hot Tub was much appreciated after a long walk on Dartmoor. Kingslakes is very dog friendly and we enjoyed our meal in the on-site restaurant/bar. Already looking forward to our next visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the spa lodge - it was such a peaceful and private setting with the garden being perfectly suited for our dog and the beach a stones throw away. Tim was incredibly helpful at check in and provided us with an extensive list of things to do in the local area - a 10/10 experience and would highly recommend a visit. Thanks Tim!

We had a great stay, 4 adults & 3 dogs. The chalet was roomy, clean and homely. The hot tub on the balcony was amazing with wonderful views. There were countryside walks around the site as well as activities. We will definitely recommend it to friends and family and hopefully return in the near future.

We had a lovely long weekend at Valley view! Great accommodation, very peaceful and private. The hot tub was a real bonus and we took advantage of the garden and outside spaces as we were blessed with the weather! Lovely part of Devon and plenty of attractions within a short driving distance! Highly recommend and would definitely return!

We had a fantastic 4-night stay at Wootten Deer Park and Safari Lodges. The lodge was spotless, beautifully set up and had everything we needed for a comfortable family break. The setting is what really makes it – peaceful, scenic and with the most incredible views of the deer, which made it feel really special. Kylie was a brilliant host – friendly, helpful and clearly cares a lot about making sure guests have a great experience. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed and already thinking about when we can come back.

Beautiful stay in a lovely peaceful area. Check in was as easy as it could be and Julie was very responsive with any questions I had. 5 star stay and would definitely recommend and visit again

From the moment we arrive the whole family just relaxes, the peace and tranquility and wonderful warm welcome we receive , makes this place all the more special. if you want a peaceful stay in a spacious comfortable house this will please you. Great views and a space outside to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Guy was on hand if we needed him but his instructions were comprehensive. Found the quiet very relaxing.

Amazing getaway - you wouldn't know there are other people staying nearby as it is so quiet. Peaceful, relaxing and a great place to use as a base to explore Dartmoor and Hay Tor. Me and the dog loved it!

What a great find! The Log Cabin was a perfect base for the pair of us exploring Devon. After busy days on the coast or in Dartmoor, it was great to BBQ in the big garden, watching evening fall and the swallows dart about. It’s compact but doesn’t feel like that owing to Belinda’s clever use of space and décor. The pictures are accurate. Whatever space you’re in feels spacious and even sumptuous. I could be in the kitchen happily doing my thing while my partner lounged in the pleasant living room. Belinda is a great host, very helpful, coming to our rescue several times. We look forward to returning.

If you're looking for peace and quiet this is the perfect spot. The cabin itself is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. One of the highlights for me was the sounds of birds. The surrounding area is perfect for morning walks or just sitting outside with a cup of coffee. The hosts were kind, responsive, and made sure everything was just right for our stay.

Wow, what an incredible stay! First and foremost, I have to give huge praise to the host—she was always incredibly responsive and beyond helpful with any questions or requests we had. From the very start, she went above and beyond to make our family weekend trip absolutely perfect. I honestly can’t thank her enough for her kindness, understanding, and dedication to making sure every detail was just right. The home itself was spotless and had such a warm, homely feel that we instantly felt comfortable. Our kids didn’t want to leave! The area was peaceful, the neighbours were lovely, and it was just a genuinely relaxing environment. Just a minute’s walk from the house, you get to enjoy stunning views and some lovely walking spots. There are also plenty of places nearby for kids to enjoy, especially if they love a beach setting. But again, I have to circle back to the host—she truly set the gold standard for what hospitality should be. She was an incredible host!! Thank u once again 😊

Beautiful place to stay. Outside patio was a great hangout with the whole ocean view. Definitely felt like we were on holiday. To add on the beautiful scenery, all the rooms also had the ocean view. The place was nice and quiet, an ideal place if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway. The place itself was clean, they had everything we needed. The beach was only 10 mins walk away. We definitely recommend.

Had a lovely few days getaway. Shepherds hut was cozy with a lovely little patio. The bed was really comfortable and the accommodation had everything as described in the listing. David & Jan were great hosts. Responded to all messages and queries really quickly. Flexible and relaxed check in and out. Nice friendly people. Would definitely recommend and will be stopping again in the future.

Jamie was the most wonderful host and we had everything we could have needed and more. We loved saying hello to the chickens every day & watching the birds on the feeders. The fresh eggs and honey were a great treat. The grounds are stunning and it's lovely to have access to the woods and glade area. we would would really recommend a stay! George and Caoimhe

Stayed at Emilie’s place overnight on a visit to Exeter. The cabin was lovely, tastefully decorated, and perfect for the overnight stay. It is very nicely located by the sea, and the walk to Shaldon across the bridge in the morning. Great cafés, and surroundings. Emilie was accurate, communicative, and prompt. Thanks again.

I had such a friendly welcome from Rachel, with everything that I needed set up and ready to go. And even though the pod felt very private, and away from it all, I also felt very safe, especially as I was alone. Incredibly peaceful, and perfect for a break away from the real world.

Een heerlijke rustige plek om te verblijven! Hillary en Michael waren zeer gastvri, aardig en belangstellend. Elke ochtend stond er een lekker ontbijt klaar. Ik heb genoten van mijn verblijf in Newton Poppleford !!
