Richard was an amazing host, met us at the property and showed us around. The location is great! Lovely and peaceful but within driving distance of all coastal locations. The property itself is as described and better, all the amenities you need and the hot tub was always ready to relax in.

Just home from an incredible few days at this property! Hattie was an excellent host. We got lost on the way in, she answered the phone instantly and she came out to meet us. She gave lots of helpful recommendations and was so pleasant to talk to. The location was perfect for a peaceful trip away from the hustle and bustle - it’s secluded with a lovely soundtrack of cows and birds. It would be a great base for a walking holiday with close proximity to Snowdonia. We couldn’t believe how big the space was when we got inside. The furniture has been thoughtfully selected with a mix of modern furnishings, art and beautiful antiques. It has so much character. It had everything we needed for a great stay. The bed was unbelievably comfortable and the house was always cosy and warm despite some miserable Welsh weather! Thank you so much for our stay. We would definitely recommend!

We loved the layout of this place—upstairs living and downstairs sleeping worked perfectly for us. The floors were quite noisy, but thankfully, with toddlers around, most of our group was already used to a little extra noise! If you're comfortable driving up steep roads, this venue is well worth it. It was wonderfully warm inside, so much so that we didn’t even get a chance to use the fire! There are plenty of activities and adventures within a 15 to 30-minute drive, but the on-site games room is a great option for fun as well. While we didn’t get to explore nearby walks, we noticed plenty of people parked close by, suggesting there’s lots to enjoy in the area. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d absolutely recommend this place!

Such a great place - as a previous review said: if you are considering it definitely do it! like staying in your own mini hotel - so interesting and quirky - great for a mixed group Rugby Six Nations in the snug complete with real fire close to the bar for some, pool tournament for some and champagne in the hot tub for others😊 Such a fab way to spend a big birthday Saturday. Kitchen was fabulous and, with it previously being a professional kitchen, everything was so accessible and easy to find. Breakfast hamper most welcome. In house dining by Viki was a real treat for our Saturday night. The beds were SO comfy...and so many fluffy towels everywhere! lovely setting - and the walk up Grinshill, as recommended by the hosts, was a must for those that do.. All in all the whole place and experience far exceeded my expectations for my extended family 60th birthday celebrations.. The pictures do not do justice to the size of the place.. Looking forward to our next visit

A beautiful peaceful bolt hole. It really was a beautiful place and the little extra touches; tulips on the table, flower in towels, primulas, logs etc were wonderful as was the provison of all the essentials - food and cooking bits! loved the hot tub.

We loved our stay, it was the perfect place to stay for a lovely catch up with friends. Great location, remote enough but not too far from lots of places to visit.

My friends and I had a lovely weekend at Lydia's place. She was very responsive and helpful when we needed to contact her. The apartment was close to the station, easy to find and the check in was simple. We had all that we needed for a relaxed and peaceful stay. The secret garden is sweet and a lovely amenity to have and although we didn't need it ourselves, there was loads of space for parking. The kitchen and living room are very spacious. The king sized bed was super comfortable. The reason for our visit was to see Port Sunlight village and Lydia's place was ideal for that as it was only about 20 minutes walk away. I highly recommend visiting Port Sunlight with its art gallery, museum and varied and attractive houses. I also recommend for breakfasts the art gallery cafe and a tiny cafe called Jay's just up the road from the station in the direction of Lydia's place. The staff in Jay's were incredibly friendly and the breakfasts were delicious.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The loft was spotless and it looked exactly like it does in the pictures. Peaceful location with incredible views. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Would love to come back again :)

I stayed at Diane´s for a month, traveling from Kenya, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The unit I rented was part of the main house but had its own separate entrance, offering privacy and comfort. The beautiful lush, vast garden full of life, peaceful surroundings with horses and birds, lots of different birds, made the experience unforgettable. The location was perfect—quiet and surrounded by nature, yet close enough to Chester and lots of renown tourist destination for easy exploring. The hosts were kind and respectful, ensuring I had everything I needed. I highly recommend Hatton Hall for anyone seeking a peaceful , convenient and private countryside escape.

Tracy and Michael's apartment was the perfect location to base mine and my partners exploration of Snowdonia out of. The surrounding area is gorgeous, and the town, Betws-y-Coed is not only stunning but has some lovely restaurants and pubs to spend the evenings in. The apartment we stayed in was clean, tidy and had all of the required amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable! Tracy recommended a lovely walk for us to do, which was greatly appreciated, and also gave us some great information on how to approach our planned hike of Snowdon. Both Tracy and Michael were lovely to chat to, and made us feel right at home. I would love to visit again when we next come to Snowdonia for more hiking and walking.

Beautiful location with stunning views over the countryside. Comfortable furnishings and relaxing place to rest our heads as we spent most of our days out and about for work. Colin was very responsive to messages and very helpful, before and during our stay. A great base to explore the local area.

We enjoyed a fantastic weekend at Tim's place, it was a perfect location for a short break. Very peaceful and beautiful setting, the cabin was just as described and exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely visit again.

We absolutely loved our stay!! Perfect secluded get away. And the flowers and bottle of Prosecco were such a nice touch.

The stay exceeded our expectations. Very cosy and private with loads of perks. Surrounding areas are exceptional, lots of walking ideas in handbook left in the cabin (We loved the precipice walk). Richard and Luned were both really friendly and attentive. We'd love to visit again.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. The cabin is lovely and so quiet - I loved just being able to hear the sounds of the water and the birdsong. Cabin has everything you need so if you don't want to go anywhere you don't have to. We really enjoyed watching films on the projector screen! The instructions for how to get there and how to use everything were perfect and Lindsay was quick to respond to messages. We'll definitely come back again!

My sister, my almost 3 year old and I stayed for one night to spend some time together. My little boy loved it, he spent much of his time looking out of the windows into the trees. The pines is well located, very private without being too isolated. We went for a walk on the Heswall Dale which is next door, and had lovely views. We had Sunday dinner in a pub 5 min drive away which did lovely food (fox and hounds). We made use of the fire pit and had a lovely evening sat outside. The place is clean and tidy, and we had a fab time. Would recommend to others.

This was my first time using Air BnB and it couldn’t have gone any better. Palma was very lovely and very happy to chat and answer any questions i might have. The lodges were good, spacious and nicely spread out from the other lodges. The outside hot tub even had a private wood structure above and around it which was very ideal! I think i saw another review on here saying Pamela put on the heating before they arrived. This is true. Was so nice and toasty when we got in. I went up with my girlfriend for valentines (she loves horses) and Pamela even set up heart shaped chocolates on the bed which was a nice touch. The horse riding was fun. Was a first time for me but everyone in the horse riding stables were really welcoming and I’m sure the missus had a fun time watching me get on and off the horse😅. Ultimately, I highly recommend, even if horses aren’t for you. Everything else was so good and couldn’t have asked for more from Pamela. Hopefully, we will be back soon.
