A fantastic stay - a beautiful, remote location. Great to go off grid for a few days and re-connect with nature. Toby was very helpful and responsive to our every need. Was a great base to explore the area and really enjoyed the sauna too

Wonderful space for a large party of 10 with dogs too! Ample parking too which is a hige plus. The place was immaculate. The host was extremely responsive and accomodating. Plenty room for all of us and we all comfortably ate together at the table. Everything you need is there. And the host is always on hand to answer any questions. We even had an asda food delivery and a chinese takeaway delivered whilst there too! Great find. We'll definitely be back!

What a fantastic place! Ged and Elka are incredibly thoughtful and kind hosts. We felt at home immediately. Everything is very thoughtfully appointed and comfortable. The kitchen is well set up for cooking whatever you might like. They even keep the knives sharp! Beautiful walks from the front door. The beds are comfortable and it’s very dog friendly. They provided a blanket, dog towel, and bowls. They even had a welcome pack for us and our dog. If I could give more than 5 stars, I totally would!

Lovely place for my 3 colleagues to stay away for the week whilst working in the area. Host's were brilliant, with lots of helpful information and very fast to respond to messages! Thank you for a great stay! Charlotte

I almost don’t want to leave a review so it dosent get fully booked out for when I wanna book it again. Such a beautiful peaceful home. Sheep just nearby, stunning views and the fireplace…. To die for! Very clean and easy instructions. I wish I could go here every month !

This was probably one of the best stays away from home we have had. Lucinda was a perfect host, very friendly and gave really good recommendations for things to do with the dogs. The walking from the front door was breathtaking, the cottage itself was very well equipped and the bedding and towels etc were spot on. We wanted peaceful and serine and that’s exactly what we got. This was a really nice and spacious property, ideal for a family. With shops nearby and a playground next to the house it was perfect for little outings.

Wonderful stay in Rivercatcher. We usually visit Bala Lake in early May but staying at Andy's place gave us the added bonus of fishing on the river on the estate. The kitchen was extremelly well stocked, everything was very clean and the kids loved the hot tub. Check in was also smooth and easy and it was nice to have access to the separate laundry room (across from the lodge) and to the games room. Would definitely recommend as a nice place to stay with friends and family.

had a lovely time here, location great, right on the park, 5 min walk to park lane with lots of cafes, bars, restaurants etc. Simon met us on arrival and was very helpful and informative. flat itself clean, spacious and had everything we needed.

I was very comfortable for the four weeks I stayed at Darren's in Waterloo. The location was close walking distance to all the amenities and easy to grab a train farther afield. Really nice beach only 10 min walk away. The flat itself is modern, well laid-out and well-maintained and the kitchen is fully equipped for a single person or a couple for even extended stays. Darren was a communicative, considerate host so I always felt like I had support if anything went wrong. I'd definitely come back.

This was our first visit to the Wirral and wow what a great location and amazing views across the marine lake, Dee estuary and the Welsh coast line from “Westwinds”, the flat is lovely with all the home comforts, little luxuries and extras left for us. The flat is ideally located for invigorating walks, local restaurants (recommend Andre’s Italian restaurant),travelling into Liverpool on Merseyrail. Thank you Nicky for being a great host and we will return soon!

We were blown away by how incredible this place was, so idyllic and like a fairytale just simply stunning and fantastic space and places for the dogs to explore. We really didn’t want to leave! Greg was so helpful and friendly could not fault one thing about this amazing place.

Having visited the town over the years, we were glad to be in such a convenient location. Vicki was very responsive and accommodating when organising logistics and once we were in the house there were no issues.

Samantha was amazing and the cottage was a perfect little retreat. The home was prepared immaculately with care and thought; walking through the front door (self check-in) gave us both an immense sigh of relief and relaxation after a lengthy drive! I was amazed at the lengths Sam went to to provide local recommendations and her knowledge of the area is commendable. We had a niggle with the wifi and messaged Sam to be met with a call minutes later ensuring we had resolved it and the offer of a plan B & C if we hadn't! Faultless and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends & family. Thanks Sam!

The cottage was as described but the experience surpassed expectations. Christine and Merv really have made the cottage feel like a home away from home, very cosy and filled with handmade touches and lots of love have been put into making it so special, this is very clear. Lovely welcome set up upon arrival; found it tricky to find initially the dark (our fault, as we were warned) but after you find it once, then it becomes natural! If you’re looking for modern this isn’t for you, but was exactly what we wanted. A cosy and magical escape in the Welsh countryside! Great recommendations and info pack with everything you need to know. Clear instructions provided to use the fire, would recommend bringing some extra fire lighters, the wood supplied was perfect and it is possible to pay a little extra for some more also. Merv is incredibly handy and chops all his own! Easy to travel around from also with many walks around, having been marked out nicely. Thank you Chrissie and Merv! :)

A very charming and homey cottage in a quaint little hamlet. We thoroughly enjoyed being in such a warm, cozy place with no TVs and no distractions. The beds were comfortable and everything was as described. Thanks Femke!

Absolutely lovely stay in a peaceful location with beautiful views which ended with some snow! We felt right at home as soon as we arrived at this cosy cottage, that had everything we needed during our stay. Karen is a great host and was incredibly helpful and quick to respond. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing trip, off-track with nearby walks and great views. This was the perfect new year reset to begin 2025, thank you! :)
