Teresa kept us informed from the moment we booked. Giving clear directions and instructions for check in. We arrived just after check in had opened and the hot tub was ready to use. There was a lovely welcome basket left inside for us. Little Acres what a gem it was very clean and tidy inside and out. There was a guest book with useful numbers and instructions for all the appliances and hot tub. The views were amazing and the area peaceful. The hot tub was welcomed after a day walking mount snowdon. A nice green area in front of the shepherds hut was kept tidy with a hammock on it. We walked through the gardens to see the animals although most were still out in the fields. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break.

Our weekend break didn’t go to plan but the short time I did get to spend at the hut was so peaceful, it was clean, the hot tub was great all in all was a lovely place to stay, I do hope to book again in the near future and get to experience it thoroughly in all its glory.

I could not recommend this place more!The accommodation was brilliant for a weekend get away. The hut was cosy, clean, private and equipped with anything you could possibly need throughout the stay. Rachael and Alan were amazing and always helpful with any requests. The highlight was definitely the wood burning hot tub to relax and watch the stars in the evening. The location of the site is brilliant being around a 15minute drive from so many attractions and local villages whilst keeping a quiet countryside feel whilst on site. I could not fault this accommodation and I would definitely visit this place again.

Jackie’s place was absolutely fantastic — it truly felt like a home away from home. She was incredibly welcoming, and the thoughtful little touches in the cabin made our stay extra special — especially the lemon drizzle cake (hands down the best we’ve ever had!). The location was perfect, and we’d highly recommend staying here!

My husband and I arranged a last minute getaway to Charlotte’s place and what a find it was. The descriptions fully matched the listing - the only thing she didn’t state was how beautiful and idyllic it is - a very rare find! Charlotte and Mito were so welcoming, and it was lovely to meet Simon and Willow, their two black labradors. All we can say is, if you’re unsure whether to book - don’t be - you will not be disappointed. We definitely aim to return! Thank you Charlotte x

We stayed at this beautiful cabin after a long hike, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, Hellie made us feel so welcome – she is such a lovely host. As a thoughtful surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday, she even left us a delicious cake, which was such a special touch! The cabin itself was cosy, peaceful, and had everything we needed to relax, including the softest, cosiest robes that made us feel right at home. Every little detail was perfect, and it’s clear how much care has gone into making this a true home away from home. We would 100% recommend staying here and can’t wait to return again – it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish!

The best Easter Weekend spent at the hut! Had everything we needed and more. Lots of little attention to detail and extras. It was 4 days we’ll never forget. Cerys was so helpful and lovely! Myself, my husband and our 8 year old had the best time and can’t recommend enough. Big thank you to Cerys’s gorgeous twin girls that were the best tour guides and friend to our daughter. We really didn’t want to go home. We’ll be back 🩷 xx

Great little Shepherds hut. Ideal for a 2 night break. Very comfy bed. Amanda was very helpful. Superb surroundings. We walked to Llangollen and back along the Canal.

our stay was beautiful from when we arrived to leaving. we we're greeted with a very friendly welcome. cosy and romantic setting for couples calm and peaceful for those that want some alone time. we will definitely return.

Beautiful place in fabulous location. Met by Jane on arrival who walked us down to the pod and explained how everything worked. Pod was spotless, cosy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing and it was so relaxing listening to the birds and looking at the stars. 100% would recommend and stay again.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in the Shepard’s Hut. Verity is a lovely welcoming host, providing a freshly baked loaf of bread for breakfast our first morning. The hut itself is equipped with everything you would need, including plenty of books and colouring books. It is also very private with gorgeous views of the Welsh countryside and of course sheep neighbours.

The hut was lovely + the hot tub was such a fun addition. The surrounding area was beautiful with lots to explore

High quality furnishings, super comfy bed and lovely little treats to welcome us; super tasty cake and fresh flowers. Our stay in Garth was wonderful. It was peaceful and exactly what we needed to unwind. The shepherd's hut was clean and beautifully laid out, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The decking was also nice to sit out on for our final morning. It was ideally located for Llangollen and the Fron Aqueduct and luckily the weather brightened up so we could see both at their best. Russell was a great host. He met us upon our arrival and talked us through some of the key points. He responded to any messages quickly and was happy to resolve any issues or answer any questions we had. A brilliant stay and we will be going back.

The location was so peaceful and private, it was the perfect getaway to escape! The grounds were beautiful and being right on the lake was perfect to watch the sunset by the camp fire before getting into the hot tub. The bed was super comfy and the breakfast bits on arrival were a really nice touch! There really was everything you needed for a peaceful, private and restful break surrounded by the beautiful lake and countryside views!

We have just returned from our minimoon after our wedding on Friday. Our stay exceeded our expectations! Bryn's communication was exceptional. He was flexible with our plans changing to include our fur baby, answered messages quickly and with accurate map Pins to make places easy to find. His recommendations were great, the nearby pub 'The Ravon' - delicious food, attentive staff and a cosy atmosphere. The nearby indian, wow the best we've had and the 'Bay Tree Cafe' what a gem! Bryn was friendly, approachable and went above and beyond to make our stay special with newly wed bunting, a bottle of bubbles and some homemade produce which was super tasty. Everything from the property itself, to the log burner, views and hot tub made our stay one we will never forget. It was a really special time as we enjoyed our new bubble as husband and wife! We will definitely return, Bryn has a special set-up here and his personable approach makes it. We will be regualars how. The Listers x

Beautiful hut. Designed, crafted and decorated to a high quality. Lots of privacy, having the oak field all to ourselves...the dogs loved it, as did we. Bob and Lisa were very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend a stay.
