A really lovely cabin with everything you need for enjoying a few days in the Lakes. We loved the location, very close to Ambleside and not far from Grasmere and Windermere for shops. Loads of nice trails available as soon as you leave the estate. We stayed with two kids and it was perfect, would love to visit again!

We had a great stay. Lodge is spacious, clean & we loved the hot tub! We did some gorgeous bike rides & walks-it realty is a beautiful part of the world. Thanks

Absolutely lovely stay - the beds were so comfortable and the lodge is furnished beautifully. Kevin was great at communicating. The kitchen was well stocked and the lodge had a nice view.

Great weekend with my best friend and our babies having some fresh air in the Lakes. Stef place had everything we needed to enjoy a great stay. Clean spacious kitchen and living room/family bathroom and en suit/downstairs toilet were helpful. All the cooking equipment/utensils we needed were available as well as cleaning materials and toiletries. We made use of the pool, towels were provided at reception and bar/restaurant, the minted lamb was absolutely stunning. Fantastic views and fantastic price for a weekend away. Clear instructions made arrival with two babies & luggage stressfree. Stef gave good instructions for checkin and gave some good recommendations, we would love to come here again. Only thing I feel that was a negative was the cleaning fee being so high when we had to remove linens &towels/rubbish ourselves and wash up. I understand that these things are part and parcel of Air B&B stays but did feel it was slightly high. Not a negative towards Stef or our stay though!

5 star review here! My family and I could not have enjoyed our stay more. The lodge has absolutely everything you could need and it was spotless on arrival. The duck food, wine and Easter chocolates were a lovely surprise, thank you so much Audrey! We used the inflatable boats on the lake and we loved it, a brilliant activity to have included with the stay. We will return in the future.

Great stay at Raluca's place. Her communication was great from the outset, responding promptly to questions and providing lots of local recommendations. The place was perfect for our stay and the kids had a great time. The swimming pool and play areas were excellent and the toys in the apartment were a real bonus. Would happily stay here again for a family break.

I stayed with my husband and 2 children, at this lodge which is in a great location for waking and exploring the Lake District. The lodge is perfect for everything we needed and had lovely touches to make you feel relaxed as soon as we arrived. The pool was great for an afternoon dip with the children, they loved it. Lizzie always responded to any questions really quickly and we took her advice on visiting the local pub the “Britannia Inn”, which was delicious and perfect for us all. We couldn’t recommend staying at the lodge enough and we will definitely will be back next year.

Amazing place with awesome hosts. Mark and Deborah. They were great with communication, always responsive and helpful with local recommendations. My family and I had an amazing time at Maple leaf cottage. The house was immaculately clean and well decorated. Great access to swimming pool my kids enjoyed every minute of it. Will definitely visit Maple leaf cottage again.

Denise was extremely helpful and approachable. She took the time to send a few messages to ensure we were clear on check in. Denise welcomed us and showed us to the lodge. The lodge was super clean, well equipped and Denise even supplied the basic condiments, tea, coffee, juice, milk with some welcome biscuits thrown in! The lodge was also dog friendly. The kids loved their bed room and we were all very comfortable. We had a great stay and the lodge more than met our needs. We plan to return.
