Wow, the whole experience was wonderful from start to finish, we stayed here this weekend to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday. The air b&b itself was immaculate and so cozy, the views were out of this world. Everything was perfect and I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Keswick! Thank you to Eddie!

Beautiful warm clean accommodation . The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Bathroom was large, very clean and hot water. Julie left us a wide choice of breakfast including vegan, lovely. Very private and quiet, parking. Attention to detail was great “sheep” .

Great peaceful stay in beautiful location, opposite the marshes... a stunning sunset walk! Delicious breakfasts, Raphaela went out of her way to cater a tasty vegan breakfast. One of my favourite breakfasts in a long time! Thank you for a warm and friendly stay, would highly recommend :)

This was a truly special stay. How often can you say you've stayed at a beautiful castle! Caroline was extremely responsive and everything was as described -- yes, that includes some limitations. When you are in a very historic building that's also someone's private home, you can't necessarily have every amenity that you get in a luxury hotel. But these limitations are very clearly communicated and completely reasonable (mostly that there are some areas of the grounds that are private/not for the Airbnb guests, and that the building gets cold). Caroline supplied many little touches that made it an extraordinary stay, and was very understanding about my young children.

Shepherd’s Heft was perfect for our long Bank Holiday stay, close to Hadrian’s Wall and a short walk into Haltwhistle. Everything we needed was provided in the cottage. Easy to walk out with the dog, and to park safely.

Nice, cosy and clean space. On the smaller side of things and didn’t love the layout but otherwise good. Worked well for me, my partner and our baby for one night :)

Our stay at Barco House was wonderful. Louisa was a great host, super friendly and accommodating. She was knowledgable of the area and gave us some good recommendations. The Airbnb was clean, spacious and homely with everything we needed. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

We booked a last minute getaway with our dog for 3 nights. Lilia could not have been a better host, from the recommendations of the pub close by to the dog walks from our doorstep. The accomodation was absolutely stunning with all of the home comforts required and a few little touches extra. I would absolutely recommend this gorgeous gem to everyone. Hopefully we will back on this area in the future 🤞

We had a lovely stay at Lucy and Nick’s place. The annexe was perfect and they were wonderful hosts.

This was by far the best air bnb we have ever stayed in and we would reccomend it to absolutely everyone! The location is unbeatable, with views of Old Man Coniston and beautiful countryside in every direction. The annex itself was spotlessly clean, really comfortable and contained absolutely everything we needed. Pam and Keith were so friendly and knowledgable, giving us tips about where to eat and drink, the best walks to go on and even giving us delicious, home made salted caramel ice cream to enjoy in one of their many beautiful outdoor seating areas. The welcome package was an absolute godsend with fresh farm eggs, bread, fruit, milk, coffee, tea, biscuits etc etc. It contained everything we needed for breakfast and for a cup of tea after a long journey. Pam and Keith are such thoughtful hosts and made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

had a great stay at Wainwrights rest, nice clean apparnment, with a double Ben and en suite, there is shared kitchen with basic cooking equipment, parking is easy with a dedicated space and the place was clean and tidy, located in shap so only a short distance to the main lakes or the my for onward travel would definitely recommend

Me and my partner had a fantastic stay at this amazingly cute cottage! 😊 the cottage was in a lovely peaceful place and with all the animals and lovely wooded areas and rivers ❤️ great location and spoilt for choice with the lakes, penines and Northumberland at your door step 😊 Susan was lovely and very helpful and I would recommend anyone to go and have a lovely stay!

What a delightful place! Squeaky clean, very well appointed modern kitchen and bathroom, packed with everything you could need, including toiletries in the bathroom (bath and shower) - and milk, bread, orange juice, cereals, etc in the kitchen. There’s even an air fryer. AND oh joy! A small bottle of fizz, and tasty little cupcakes! Thank you Marj for a lovely, comfortable home from home - and for greeting me so warmly.

We had a brilliant time at Emma’s place! It was wonderfully located, peaceful and the surroundings were just stunning! The Airbnb itself was clean, it had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. We really appreciated the brownies and coffee upon arrival and enjoyed reading her collection of local books! Emma was very friendly, accommodating and communicated well throughout. We could have happily stayed longer and if we’re ever back around the area, we will definitely book again! Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic week at The Spinney, the location above the Cocker and looking over to Whinlatter is superlative. Adam and Mary are great hosts, furnishing the cottage with thoughtful touches, a plentiful supply of firewood and generous welcome gifts, and sharing their beautiful garden. The Spinney is in a great location away from the honeypots of the Lakes but within easy reach of everything. Thoroughly recommended!

Neil and Nic provided friendly and helpful advice before my visit, gave me the warmest of welcomes, and could not have been more helpful throughout. Neil kindly picked me up from the fantastic pub in Humshaugh where I had eaten, at their recommendation, and even dropped me back in Chollerford the next morning to continue my walk along the Hadrian's Wall path. The accommodation was really comfortable and welcoming, and was amazing value for money. The spread of breakfast options to help myself to was wonderful, and made me wish I could stay longer to do them justice... but at least I had the delicious and plentiful packed lunch Nic provided to keep me going during the day. I would love to stay at their place again next time I'm in the area.

We really enjoyed our time in 'The Store'. Jo & her husband have really optimized the space in it. Th mezzanine bed was fab & great fun to get to. Up & down the ladder. We are 56 & 57 but felt like teenagers 🤣 We had access to kettle, extra jug of water, tea, coffee, sugar & milk. There was a cheeky caramel which went very well with hot drinks. They even left out breakfast supplies & fruit. We enjoyed sitting out in their garden, they have a beautiful layout. When the listing says you are welcome to enjoy they really do mean it. Jo & her husband were fabulous hosts. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable & confident in the space. Jo was very responsive to any messages & gave clear instructions on check in even letting us know we could check in early. If we were in the area again we wouldn't hesitate to book. Thanks so much for letting us stay in your store 🙂

We had a truly lovely stay. The place is so cosy and homely. We were in the area for a festival but would book again for a walking holiday - such a beautiful part of the world and this accommodation is a great base for exploring the lakes. We loved having the coffee machine, the bed was comfy and we felt completely at home. The dogs were super-friendly and cute and the hosts really helpful.

We have just spent 3 lovely nights at Joanna’s beautiful home. Town End Cottage was everything we expected it to be and more. The space is absolutely beautiful with everything you could possibly need. Only a 35 minute drive away from Windermere and 25 from Aira Force waterfall, we had endless options of sights to see. Thank you to Joanna and family (including the lovely kitties) for a peaceful stay. We hope to be back soon!
