We have just returned from a weekend away at this beautiful villa for a family weekend away. Beautiful location with spectacular scenery on the drive in. The villa has the wow factor. Home from home, the hosts have thought of everything and we couldn’t think of a single improvement except for a guest book so we could write our positive thoughts and recommendations in person of places to visit in the area for other visitors to read. The kids loved the park, ducks and football court, they also loved reading in the villa and playing board games which were all in the villa to use. Myself and my partner enjoyed walking around the site and spending quality time as a family. We couldn’t recommend this villa or hosts more highly and we thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us so we could make forever memories to treasure. Stephanie, Scott and family 🙏🏻

George was a great host. Met us upon arrival and ensured we were settled in quickly. The place is lovely and the games room was brilliant. The cottage was well presented and the welcome was a lovely touch. The cottage is a great base if you enjoy hill walking or to discover ayrshire. The hot tob was lovely in the evening to unwind from the days activities. We had a great holiday. Thank you

The Old School House is stunning Air BnB , super clean, very well appointed and Elizabeth is an excellent host. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Newton Stewart.

Had a family weekend which was great from start to finish. The lodge was lovely, clean and actually better than described. Beautiful surroundings with lovely pub for food. Swimming pool was great too. Overall amazing experience - thank you, Sarah.

Couldn’t recommend enough. We stayed for a weekend, 5 adults and 5 kids. The house is well equipped and has modern kitchen and bedrooms. All the instructions for when you arrive are really easy with no problems. Definitely would stay again.

Wij hebben het heerlijk gehad in de cottage. Het was heel goed uitgerust en gezellig ingericht. Het was er heerlijk rustig. Het mooiste was uiteraard het prachtige uitzicht op Luce Bay en de Mull of Galloway. We hopen zeker nog eens terug te komen.

The cottage is a wonderful place to stay when exploring the Western Lake District and coastline. It’s tucked away in a quiet corner and has a lovely enclosed garden perfect for your furry companion . The cottage itself is surprisingly spacious, comfortable and decorated cosily. Sue was the perfect host and checked in to make sure our elderly parents had the best stay. We shall return again soon !!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at little Peru. Our hosts were super helpful and communication was great. From the moment we pulled in and were greeted by our new fluffy friends - we felt at home and comfortable. The setting is beautiful, quiet, easy to find, it was delightful. Super cozy especially at the end of an evening when it’s chilly outside - so warm and cozy! We loved waking up to the alpacas and sheep and watching them was so much fun. The sheep brothers little fights were fun to watch and made us all laugh. The snacks made available to feed them is brilliant. We drove down to the kitchen coos and ewes experience (around an hrs away) and that was a great experience - highly recommend! They’re super knowledgeable and great guides. We also visited the Galloway Forest Park to try the dark skies one night and that was amazing - so many stars! We will be recommending Little Peru to everyone! Would absolutely visit again!
