My stay at the Steading was absolutely wonderful. The cabin is simple and welcoming. The surroundings are beautiful and make you feel at peace. Alex is a rare soul, and it was a pleasure to speak with him. He was very kind and made sure I had what I needed in the kitchen and that I was warm through the nights. While this isn't the ideal place for someone looking for all of their creature comforts being satisfied, it is perfect for those looking for a serene experience that feels in touch with the land. To note, I had cell reception here, though it says there is no reception on the listing. So if that's your main deterrent, don't worry about it! I look forward to returning here some day.

Perfect place for two nights of peace. Loved the view, pod and fireplace and everything just as described. Great walking up the glen and village close enough to ride to the pub!

Amazing location, very helpful and friendly hosts. Private back garden, ideal for dogs. Dufftown is a beautiful town, also very dog friendly. Our GSP, Clementine, was invited into the Glenfiddich Distillery Shop for treats. We left with a few, ourselves. Highly recommended.

Ardlogie Bothy was perfect for our short stay. It was warm and welcoming and the welcome pack was very much appreciated. The Bothy is well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts had provided plenty of local information. It was very peaceful - you wouldn't know you were so close to the town centre and train station. Off-street parking was useful.

Cosy, comfortable, well designed cabin with all we needed for our walking trip. Village amenities convieniently close. Easy access to lovely walks. Our 3rd stay at Braemar cabins.

We are a family of four and thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The chalet is comfortable, well-equipped and there are great walking and wildlife watching opportunities on the doorstep.

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

We stayed for two nights with a toddler and really enjoyed our stay. Even with the travel cot and the highchair there was plenty of space. Our son enjoyed the box with toys very much. There were really nice hiking trails nearby. Next time we would spent more time here.

Fantastic stay, hosts were friendly, helpful and available at any time to answer any questions or give recommendations for the local area. Beautiful scenery and private area made for a relaxing and peaceful trip away to unwind. Hot tub was easy to use and fully explained on arrival which made it free to use at our leisure. Das kleine Bungalow ist ideal gelegen um Loch Ness und Inverness zu erkunden. Es ist sehr sauber und für die Größe echt gut ausgestattet.

Private, peaceful, and exactly what we were looking for as a base for our hillwalking trip. The cabin has a lovely view of the garden, with lots of birdsong and pretty flowers, which made our stay feel relaxing. The cabin had everything we needed to cook our meals, however I would suggest a two ring burner rather than a single burner for future guests. The interior was spotless - everything looked clean and bedding/linen smelled fresh. We were very pleased with the small selection of treats left for our arrival. Thank you!

Absolutely wonderful place. We came with our two young children and Ruth went out of her way to welcome us with little treats, thoughtful little details and just a really warm welcome. The pod is beautifully designed and really cosy and the location is magical - with lovely walks and stunning scenery. Our kids wanted to stay forever. Lovely accomodation: compact without feeling small, and stunning views of the surrounding hills. Ideal base for walking and getting away from it all. Excellent wifi; comfy bed; and visited by red squirrels in the mornings!

We had a wonderful stay with Graham. The location is perfect for a quiet get away and very peaceful. We loved the amenities Graham had to offer and the POD felt like a home away from home. Graham made it a point to make us feel right at home from the beginning to the end of the stay. We enjoyed getting to know him and the area we were staying. We definitely would love to return to Graham’s Highland PODs in the future. The location and the scenery are truly stunning and peaceful. Just what we needed and so much more. The POD itself was very clean and modern. We loved being able to use the hot tub during the cold evenings. We will be returning visitors!

Ideal escape for a couple of days over the Easter holidays. The Stag Hut is exactly as pictured and in the most peaceful setting. My son and I had the best time and hosts were fantastic. Highly recommend!

We had a brilliant stay, the views were spectacular! Our dog was secure in the garden and loved the freedom of being able to run around. The cabin was easy to find as Lindsay gave us brilliant clear instructions. The cabin was beautifully kept and had everything you could possibly need! They were so thoughtful with a handwritten post card and some sweet treats! We will definitely be back! Thanks for having us!

what a beautiful place Sue and Steve have..I highly recommend this lovely spot in a fantastic location..they gave us a torch so we could see on way home in the dark from a local restaurant..the hot tub is a lovely touch in beautiful surroundings..great hosts..will defo return 😀

Amazing getaway on a gorgeous piece of land! The cabin is beautiful and furnished well, with thoughtful touches like a hot water bottle provided. The windows let in lots of natural light and the views are incredible. Kylie even dropped off some fresh eggs from their hens! I hope to return someday!

Beautiful glamping pod, very comfortable and well equipped in a gorgeous location - it has everything you could possibly need and we would have loved to stay more nights. We enjoyed sitting out in the evening overlooking the fields, horses and Castle Roy, surrounded by nature. Alastair is a lovely host too, friendly and very kind. Highly recommended - hope to return.

A lovely and cosy lodge with great amenities such as the hot tub. Gail was fantastic host from start to finish. We will definitely come back.

A perfect place to stay for exploring Speyside. It has all the facilities you need, as well as lovely views. And even on a day when I had to scrape the ice off the car in the morning it was still cosy inside.

paula’s tiny home was exactly as described! it did not feel tiny, but was warm, welcoming and comfortable. it had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. it is a bit of a walk from the train station at the village centre but so close to the orbital path for a good morning walk. we also appreciated paula’s responsiveness and her flexibility of allowing early check in and late check out.
