Sam’s retreat was more than we expected, such a beautiful place to spend our 4 nights stay. So clean and comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay. Great place to use as a base for days out walking, exploring along the coast. Then returning to spend the evening in the ‘retreat’ and a good nights sleep before doing it all again! Can highly recommend Sam’s retreat to stay in. Also Walkers fish & chip shop Truro Rd (down the end of the road turn left) great chips & friendly. Make the St Austell Brewery tour top of your ‘must do’ list. We had such a good stay, we could have stayed longer and will definitely recommend to friends & family. Like a boomerang, we hope to come back!!!

Had an amazing stay at Gary and Lisa's for the new year period. Me and my partner came to dartmoor for a nice getaway and walk without breaking the bank. The host's were phenomenal and very proactive in letting us know instructions and making sure we got there and in okay. The place itself was IMMACULATE, not a speck of Dust in sight and was really refreshing to walk into. It's a self contained small home with bathroom (shower) bedroom, living room with television and good WiFi and a kitchen with oven and electric hob and even washer and dryer. (we didn't use these but I'm sure they worked) there's also a conservatory attached with dining table for extra space! the place was lovely, peaceful and remote but around a 10 minute drive from some breathtaking walks at the moors! the price was incredibly reasonable for the area and we would 100% stay again in the future! looking forward to it! couldn't recommend this place enough!

Stayed for 3 days over Christmas. Was absolutely lovely. The house was a great space and very relaxing. Great for families and children.

We had a lovely relaxing stay to bring in the New Year at The Hide. Very cosy and we loved the uniqueness of your place. The hosts were super friendly and we were welcomed with homemade bread which was delicious. Thank you for a perfect start to the new year :)

I have visited Alison's lodges now several times as the location is just absolutely stunning, it's dog friendly and the lodges themselves are beautiful, cosy and well equipped. The sound of the babbling brook at Brook Lodge as I fell asleep at night was so peaceful. It's so easy to access beautiful walks very close, including within the grounds themselves, and you can also hop in the car and go a bit further afield. Alison is very thoughtful and flexible and I could not recommend this stay more. It is a little bit of peace!

It was lovely staying at Anita's place. Very comfy bed and spotlessly clean. Anita was very flexible around my departure time, which was most appreciated. Would definitely recommend :).

This as my second time staying at Lavender Cottage and I cannot speak highly enough of both, Ella and James for how helpful and accommodating they are and for how easy they make the whole stay. Can’t wait to be back again!

A cosy and pleasant stay very near the town centre with everything we needed. Didn’t get a chance to enjoy the little patio area as too windy but already planning a trip to come back to Falmouth :)

Ideal accommodation for my one night stay in Truro. Easy to find, quiet residential location within safe walking distance from railway station and city centre. Well presented compact bedroom and en-suite bathroom which was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Nice sized modern shower, very comfortable bed. Thoughtful inclusion of cereals for a light breakfast alongside fresh milk, tea and coffee. A very enjoyable and satisfying experience. Was met on arrival by Rupert, my friendly host. Would recommend and definitely stay again if in the area.

Can really echo all the comments from previous guests. John and Barbara were very attentive hosts and the cottage was cosy and comfortable. The outside area, both garden and paddock were great for the dog without having to go too far. We had a lovely Christmas Day. Only downside was very foggy misty weather but we were staying in Winter! Would be nice to see sunshine there on another visit and enjoy the outside seating.

Very cute studio, lovely bright design and with everything I needed. Hannah and Chris were really helpful and responded to all my questions before my trip.

Heather and Rob were great hosts and The Snuggery was beautiful. Exceeded our expectations. We loved all the little extras, the afternoon tea, eggs and especially the bathrobes. Such peaceful surroundings we didn't want to leave. Will definitely recommend.

My Dad, Daughter and I had the most wonderful weekend stay at this beautifully designed barn. The layout makes fantastic use of the space, and the large windows and doors offer breathtaking views of the surrounding grounds—open fields, trees, and wildflowers as far as the eye can see. Waking up to birdsong and heading down to feed the chickens was such a lovely touch. The barn itself was spotlessly clean and exceptionally well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. The log burner made for cozy evenings, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the rain shower and deep bath were pure luxury. The kitchen and dining area had everything you needed for cooking and entertaining. And, of course, the hot tub—an absolute highlight—was the perfect way to both start and end the day. Our host was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Nothing was too much trouble. This place is an absolute gem, and we can’t wait to return!

A lovely one bed place in a lovely location. Everything is high spec and comfortable. Sitting underneath the viaduct and next to a babbling stream makes it a lovely spot too.

My stay at Frances’ was absolutely lovely- she made us feel very welcome from the offset! The place is very charming and homely- I’ll be back for sure if I return to this neck of the woods!

Heather made us feel right at home. She greeted us at check-in and gave us a personal tour, along with suggestions for family activities and walks. Her place was a quaint and adorable 3 bedroom house perfect for our stay. She checked-in with us frequently and we loved the beautiful views. Thank you Heather!!

A lovely airbnb, described well and was in a lovely rural location. You definitely need a car if visiting this place but it’s worth the drive around to have the rural private place to stay, with very attentive hosts.

The Foundry felt like stepping into a big hug. It is beautifully furnished, had everything we needed and manages to be both spacious and cosy. It is very well designed. Light floods in through the large patio doors and velux windows. The location is ideal for wandering into the centre of Truro or jumping in the car and getting to the countryside or beach. Claudia is the perfect host. She made us feel very welcome from the moment we booked until after we left. We will certainly be back.
