The Lodge was way above expectations despite the great reviews it already had. We were 6 adults & 2 young children- the bedrooms were perfect, roomy with ensuites- a real treat. The upstairs lounge was a kids dream with the Wendy house & sooo many toys. The Christmas tree was a fabulous bonus & made our celebrations perfect. The hot tub was brilliant & well used by us all- it was great knowing how clean & well maintained it was. The Lodge itself we could not fault. The resort itself is somewhat tired & in need of a bit of tlc. Understandably mid winter not all activities were available & we expected this but did feel that the pool facilities which we used needed maintenance. We did not expect the bar staff to be too inebriated to serve us the one evening we decided to pop up to the bar!! Other than that top marks - a long awaited family holiday that we will remember with joy. The only let down was the non-return of a left behind item that should have been easily located.

Words fail me to say how amazing this place is. A haven of peace and tranquillity with all rooms having their own en-suite bathroom, TVs in each room, a swimming pool and a hot tub right next door. Anne-Louise welcomed us and showed us everything. After a break like this, it's really hard to return to normality!!! I can't recommend it highly enough

We really enjoyed our stay, A lovely cosy home in a beautiful peaceful setting with amazing views. Our hosts where friendly and super helpful answering any queries that we had, everything was nice and clean, the welcome basket filled with goodies upon our arrival was a really nice touch.

We loved our stay over an extended weekend. As a retired group of five we enjoyed local walking, scenery. The hot tub was a great extra that was enjoyed. Lovely place to visit, it’s an area we know well, we enjoyed our time in this lovely location. The accommodation was excellent, lovely and clean and homely with great views. Sue is a great host and focused on making our stay enjoyable. On our list of return destinations.

Our family had such a wonderful time staying at Patrick’s house in st Eval. The house was really a home from home and had everything that we needed and the hot tub was great with clear instructions on looking after it. St Eval is a lovely quiet place to stay with young children, the house is close to the play park and a huge football field and there is a really convenient local shop for essentials. There are many lovely beaches just a few minutes drive away, we particularly love watergate bay for surfing and porth cothan for a swim. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay

The house was gorgeous, perfect location for walking to the beach & pubs. Had everything we could need & more when it came to cooking our Christmas dinner. There was even a Christmas tree! Only disappointment was the hot tub not working but these things happen. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic house and brilliant facilities unfortunately as it was just a short stay we didn’t have time to make use of the cinema room or hot tub but we certainly would have if we had been there longer. The massive dinner table was amazing and we as a party of 10 sat comfortably around it dining and playing games. It is located in the heart of Teignmouth and a very short walk from the beach so no car was needed. Parking was just a short walk away and very reasonably priced. We would highly recommend this property.

This is a lovely place in a lovely town. We visited in the off season but the walk into town and to the beaches was a jolly part of our break. The lounge/diner/kitchen space is terrific and makes the place tick - huge, airy and we'll kitted out. The hot tub and pool table kept us busy.

We had a wonderful stay at Coombe Villa. Simon and Charlie were so helpful and responsive. They really went over and above to help us and provide anything that we needed. The house is great and so well equipped with everything that you could need. We travelled with two very young children and it was ideal - everything very easy and cots, blackout blinds and more were provided. The house is spotless and so well designed. It’s within easy walking distance of lots of amenities and the guidebook provided by the hosts was so helpful. We would highly recommend this thank you for such a great stay!

Had a wonderful time. The place felt very secluded with amazing amenities and stunning sea view. Neil was very friendly and helpful too and even left us chocolates and champagne to help us celebrate a special occasion. Would love to stay here again sometime.

Super place to stay for the holidays. Great location with a few walking routes. The lodge was very clean and tidy, and super additions such as a hot tub and a teapot (Husband loved it as it reminded him of his mum's house).

Us 9 from 7 to 70 had a really great holiday. Despite sometimes dodgy weather, we loved using the numerous house facilities. The sheltered from breeze,wellness area exceeded expectations, especially hot tub & sauna & was well maintained.Also much family football ! & basketball. The outdoor gym a good perk. Pizza oven good fun too. Indoors budding pianists explored their talents ! The conservatory was beautiful to relax & eat family meals in if we couldn't eat outside. Locally the walk to Porth beach for us was fine & walk to the island beautiful. We made use of the body boards & kids wetsuits at the house and all tried out paddle boarding at the Gannell ( again free because the house offered inflatable board ). So busy we only watched 1 film in the cinema / playroom, but it's a great asset to have, as was the annexe, a real little home. the lettuces growing if we wanted & just the huge space in & out. Unlike many places, upstairs was spacious & all fully carpeted, so very quiet.

very nice, clean, bright, and spacious area! dog friendly, which was great for us. Our dog was able to roam around freely and relax in different rooms without strangers as there were so many rooms to spend time I'm away from your bedroom. Anthony was very friendly, very responsive over app, and great with our dog who can be nervous around men. hottub was a great addition. no issues here! depending on the guests who stay with you depends on how loud or quiet the communal area is at night, we had a family playing muical doors at 10pm each night, but was very quiet and peaceful once everyone settled. Good location to travel around Devon! would definitely recommend it!

Antony was amazing host ,very respectful and understanding , I will definitely recommend who is looking for quite and relaxing place to stay . Place is very looked after and can be more than 5 star rated hotels ,as long you ok to comunicate with some pll who is sharing it perfect it can get a bit uncofortable for those who is looking proper isolation . We loved it. Plent of sitting space in the basement. Beautiful kit hen with plenty of gadgets. Bedrooms comfortable with added bonus of bath robes in double bedrooms. Ground floor pool table was popular with grandchildren.

The Lost Cabin was a beautiful, stylish and pristine space. Very cosy even in mid-winter, we were always comfortable. David was most friendly and we'd love to stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the spa lodge - it was such a peaceful and private setting with the garden being perfectly suited for our dog and the beach a stones throw away. Tim was incredibly helpful at check in and provided us with an extensive list of things to do in the local area - a 10/10 experience and would highly recommend a visit. Thanks Tim!

Amazing quiet location to really unwind and relax. Great that the cabin is dog friendly and has a secure garden for dogs to run around without worrying about them. Some treats were left for our dog to enjoy which was a nice added touch. The hut tub added some much needed relaxation, and whether listening to the birds in the morning with a coffee or enjoying the evening sunsets with a drink this place had everything required to make it a much needed retreat. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again and enjoy the tranquility this places offers.

We had a lovely long weekend at Valley view! Great accommodation, very peaceful and private. The hot tub was a real bonus and we took advantage of the garden and outside spaces as we were blessed with the weather! Lovely part of Devon and plenty of attractions within a short driving distance! Highly recommend and would definitely return!

Wow, wow and WOW! Absolutely loved my weekend at Torvale Cabin, my only regret is I didn’t stay longer. The hosts were unbelievably helpful, kind and efficient in their responses. The cabin was spotless, and smelt lovely. Everything you could possibly think of, they have thought of. So well thought out and made you feel right at home. The mini golf was great fun, and we loved it. The hot tub was lovely, and very clean. Loved the free mug, the little thoughtful bits such as ear plugs, breakfast items, etc. I will definitely be back, for longer! Relatively easy to find (thanks to the host’s instructions) but really private and peaceful at the same time. I cannot recommend this place enough! 100000/10 we loved it!

We had an amazing stay at The Kuro Cabin! Vix was an amazing host, really responsive and gave us a great insight on what to do in the local area. The cabin was completely secluded and the hot tub and sauna was gorgeous. Strongly recommend and would definitely stay again!
