Fabulous hut in a glorious location. It has everything we needed and was beautifully clean. The host was extremely helpful and answered so quickly any questions. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Penny and Ant real nice people . If you want to unwind and go back to nature this is the place . The views and silence is perfect it’s a remedy . No 42” TV with mobile sockets everywhere this is off grid bliss , fabulous comfy bed in the hut and great shed for cooking , if your a 70s kid you’ll appreciate the shower and toilet , brilliant . Not just an over night stay but an experience of how things should be , regards Alan .

Last minute Valentine get away with our two dogs. Despite pretty grim weather, you couldn't have wished to be anywhere cosier. Surprisingly spacious and everything you could think of, provided for a weekend away. Basic breakfast foods provided and of course Juliet's famous delicious short bread and doggie welcome treats.Private garden space adjoining a wood and secure field. Dogs roamed and played freely and safety. Bring lots of dog towels if you expect rain. Lovely shower in the cabin. Very well designed compost in a separate cabin. We kept close for dog exercise but there seems plenty of options for walking.. especially to pub...It's between 40 to 50 minute walk away. So many birds. Lovely weekend away. Beautiful Shepard’s hut. Very peaceful and quiet, out of the way for privacy. Beautiful views. The Alpacca’s were an added bonus to our view and stay. They loved being fed apple by us and one of them liked me so much it kept sneezing all over me 😁 Would definitely return 😁

What an absolutely beautiful place. Really managed to disconnect from the outside world. Owners have thought of absolutely everything. Thank you so much! Highly recommended and will be making sure other members of our families take some time off to go here. Could not have asked for more.

As a family with 2 young children and a dog, we wanted something for everyone. During the day we went for walks in the surrounding fields, we had BBQs and enjoyed the Hot Tub while gazing at the stars at night. We also enjoyed the peace and quiet and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Thanks Gill, we'll definitely be back again!

Our first time in a Shepard’s hut, small and compact but cosy and cute! Parking is tight but we manage to navigate it! St Mabyn Inn is great we ate there on both evenings very friendly and only a 2 minute walk

Such a lovely hut for our anniversary. The place itself was so lovely & the owners were incredibly helpful. Such a clean and lovely stay. Would love to have stayed longer and will definitely recommend to a friend!

A fantastic stay! This Shepherd hut was spotless! The area is so quiet and friendly. Plenty of walks on the doorstep. The location is fantastic, especially when travelling to Dartmouth. Two pubs serving food within a few minutes walk was an added bonus. Excellent WIFI. Thanks Nina for having us.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at one of Kate’s shepherds huts, super super nice!! ( hence going again in the space of three months!) Lovely spot! Lovely and private, just the break we needed! Kate’s an amazing host! Thinks of everything, even slippers to get to and from the outdoor bathroom and hot tub. Loved the little book of past guests in the cupboard too, such a sweet idea! Will definitely be going to one of Kate’s places again, will be trying the cottage next time! Thank you!:) Matt & Amy

I took my boyfriend to Fiona’s hut for his birthday to get away from the busy city & life! It was exactly that & more, the hut is so amazing, it has everything you need and the bed is so unbelievably comfortable I’ve asked for the details of the pillows!! It was the perfect getaway, the hot tub was amazing & if you turn the lights off you can enjoy the starry skies! The pony’s are super cute & friendly! Honestly it was so much more than what we were expecting. The hut is so homely and cosy! Fiona is also an amazing host, she is very responsive & friendly! We will definitely be back! Also the milk!!! The milk that is provided by Fiona is amazing!! It is super thick and creamy! Just every little detail has be thought through! Thank you so much for such an amazing weekend! X

The accommodation was exactly as described and communication with the host was excellent. The shepherd's hut was cozy and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches like information on local pubs and scenic walks. It was dog-friendly, which was a big plus, and the hot tub was a lovely bonus for relaxing after a day of exploring. Would definitely recommend!

Gorgeous shepherd hut, loved everything about it, beautifully dressed and fitted out, really well organised and clean. It’s in a fabulous location, nice and secluded and really easy to visit Harlyn Bay and Constantine bay. Loved the outside undercover lounge area for a morning cuppa tea in the sunshine. We had a wonderful stay in Nicola's cosy shepherd's hut. Despite wind and rain the hut was toasty warm and comfortable. The hot tub was an absolute treat - half the fun is making the fire and the smell of wood smoke as the water warms. It's a fantastic location - private and perched above Boscastle with lovely views of the coast and amazing stars at night. Ideal to have a walkable pub. Plenty to do nearby with the coast path and Tintagel and Boscastle Harbour and Bude. Nicola is an exceptional host - thank you for the prosecco, fresh milk and delicious shortbread biscuits. The hut is spotlessly clean and well equipped - beautiful! I can't recommend Nicola's place highly enough! We absolutely loved it!

I cannot fault this wonderful hut! Its location is brilliant for accessing some of the most spectacular surroundings of the South West coast. Super cosy and spacious, it really had everything we needed and more! Danielle is the perfect host, incredibly friendly and responsive.

We felt very relaxed in the open spaces offered by this very peaceful, accommodation . The shepherds huts were beautiful,very cosy and all furnishings,fixtures and fittings were gorgeously hand made with care. Excellent advice for walks from owners and only regret we don’t book it for longer.

Just returned from the most relaxing weekend here. Absolutely beautiful hut, every little detail has been thoroughly thought out. The scenery was stunning. Lecina was the greatest host who added little touches to celebrate my partner birthday. Thank you so much, we will definitely return!

Danielle, you were so accommodating and I really appreciate it. The location is a perfect place if you are attending a wedding at Tregedna, taxi was around £10.00 at midnight, really easy to find and instructions from Danielle helped too. Parking on site right beside your shepherds hut, a very peaceful area where you can unwind after a busy day. The hut was a real treat and had everything you needed, was really homely and so cosy! The bed/bedding was super comfortable and I had an amazing night sleep. Roughly a 5/10 minute drive from shops (Esso Garage/Asda). Would stay again!

Beautiful location, private with views over countryside and sunsets towards Salcombe. The facilities were as expected, hot water, wood burner and small kitchen - everything we needed. We walked to Salcombe for lunch (an hour-ish to the foot ferry), borrowed the kayaks (stored close to water and very easy to use) and enjoyed the beauty and serenity of paddling up the creek to the estuary for a picnic on the beach. Weather was great so that definitely helped. Becky was very responsive and helpful. Recommended

Perfect place to getaway for a few nights, Amy recommended good places to go to while we were there and provided leaflets for us too. The log burner for the hot tub was great too, plenty of wood FOC which was lovely! Brownies on arrival was a bonus☺️

I have just had a lovely stay at honeysuckle hut . So peaceful and relaxing. Managed to recharge my battery and unwind . Place is spotless and cosy and Jan is an excellent communicator but also respectful of privacy . Log burner a bonus as was the space in the deck with clear skys a couple of nights where the stars were so vivid . A great place to come back to after exploring all Dartmoor has to offer and I would highly recommend!!

We have just returned from a weekend at G’s shepherd hut. What a lovely relaxing break. The hut was very well thought out with everything you could need. It was decorated lovely and all the soft furnishings made is super cosy and comfortable. I honestly didn’t want to get out of the lovely bed! Log burner was great and the horses and goats were an added bonus. Very dog friendly and G introduced herself which was lovely also. Thanks we will definitely be coming again!
