we had a lovely break at the foxes den shepherds hut . The views are amazing and the area is beautiful . everything was as explained by Viki and it couldn't have ran any smoother. Our Shepherds Hut was Very Clean and beautifully decorated and the Easter Eggs were a lovely touch. We will certainly be back and would reccomend to anyone who wishes to explore the beautiful Devon countryside and Coast line.

Absolutely incredible place. Very peaceful and scenic and provided with everything we could have needed. Wonderful hosts, would love to stay again.

This is a unique place.. you have to like wild and back to basics.. I stayed in the circus trailer. I wasn’t sure what to expect and was worried at first at the slightly tired appearance. But once the fire was lit, the fairy lights were on it was perfect. The most comfortable bed with the greatest view from it. Tea making facility and somewhere to charge my phone. Toilet and shower block were spotless, the shared kitchen and use of fridge and cookers was great. Fire pit and wood supplied and it was the most amazing dark space. The view of the stars, ISS and starlink were the best I’ve ever seen. I stayed here so I could walk the SWCP and it’s a 15-20 min walk to Polperro from the site so it was perfect. I would stay here again. This is definitely a wild, back to basics place to stay but I loved it. Matt was super helpful and responded quickly to any questions.

Last minute Valentine get away with our two dogs. Despite pretty grim weather, you couldn't have wished to be anywhere cosier. Surprisingly spacious and everything you could think of, provided for a weekend away. Basic breakfast foods provided and of course Juliet's famous delicious short bread and doggie welcome treats.Private garden space adjoining a wood and secure field. Dogs roamed and played freely and safety. Bring lots of dog towels if you expect rain. Lovely shower in the cabin. Very well designed compost in a separate cabin. We kept close for dog exercise but there seems plenty of options for walking.. especially to pub...It's between 40 to 50 minute walk away. So many birds. Great little stay. The only issue we had is the google maps took us down a tiny overgrown lane (we thought this was the entrance at first) which wasn't great for the cars. Googles fault 😅. The stay was great. peaceful just what we needed

Lovely weekend away. Beautiful Shepard’s hut. Very peaceful and quiet, out of the way for privacy. Beautiful views. The Alpacca’s were an added bonus to our view and stay. They loved being fed apple by us and one of them liked me so much it kept sneezing all over me 😁 Would definitely return 😁

What an absolutely beautiful place. Really managed to disconnect from the outside world. Owners have thought of absolutely everything. Thank you so much! Highly recommended and will be making sure other members of our families take some time off to go here. Could not have asked for more.

As a family with 2 young children and a dog, we wanted something for everyone. During the day we went for walks in the surrounding fields, we had BBQs and enjoyed the Hot Tub while gazing at the stars at night. We also enjoyed the peace and quiet and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Thanks Gill, we'll definitely be back again!

Great place to stay, everything you need for a breakaway. Tucked away in the garden and felt very private. Hot tub is a great added touch for chilling out. Gill communicated well and made sure we had all we needed. A lovely touch with a cream tea and Prosecco on arrival. Teignmouth is a lovely place and had some great walks. Will definitely return

We felt very relaxed in the open spaces offered by this very peaceful, accommodation . The shepherds huts were beautiful,very cosy and all furnishings,fixtures and fittings were gorgeously hand made with care. Excellent advice for walks from owners and only regret we don’t book it for longer.

We had an amazing stay at The Hidey-Hole and would recommend to anyone. We booked very last minute, on the day of arrival and it did not disappoint. Lovely and spacious and the driveway and open space is huge, great for our Frenchie to roam around freely and safely. If youre like me and like to be cosy and warm , I recommend you take extra logs, kindling and fire lighters for the wood burner to keep it going. Lisa supplies enough to start you off but we popped to the shop in North Tawton for extra supplies which was just a short drive away. The bed was super comfy and the fresh supplies were a welcome gift. We will be back

Perfect location for exploring tintagel and North Cornwall. Lovely accommodation with great hosts and I would highly recommend :)

Beautiful shepherds hut in very peaceful location. We spent two nights here and would definitely recommend. The hut has everything you need and is very cosy.

We had the most luxurious weekend just before Christmas. Brilliant hosts. Stunning location, looking out over the valley, watching the alpacas roam. The hut feels very private, down its own little footpath. The 2-person hot tub isn't overlooked by anyone else and no one would ever pass by (unless they were lost). Robes and towels provided. The hut is very cosy and warm - even when we only used the heated towel rail. The wood burner is fantastic (wood supplied free of charge). The bed folds down from the wall into the space where the table/benches are. Cooking facilities are two hobs and a microwave, with all pans/utensils we needed. Fantastic shared facilities as well: we used the indoor pool and table tennis - although it was hard to peel ourselves away from our beloved hut! We were there during a mega storm and (a) the hut stayed super cosy and (b) Simon and Claire were super responsive when the storm knocked out the water pump. What a fantastic weekend - can't wait to go back!

I had the best few days at Sallys shepherds hut. It was exactly as described (in fact, probably more roomy than I thought it would be!) Paddy showed me around when I arrived and I could contact them both if I needed anything. The hut had all the essentials that I needed and being able to park right next to it was really helpful. A few days away for some peace and quiet was just what I was after and it absolutely delivered. My spaniel loved the field to run around in too, just opening the door in the morning to let him run outside was nice. The weather wasn’t the best (very rainy) but to come back and light the fire to warm up was great and the hut holds heat well, I wasn’t cold at all. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and I’d highly recommend it. Perfect location for hikes, getting to the beach and some lovely pubs in the village for dinner. The copper kettle is great for breakfast too! I didn’t want to leave! Thanks again Sally and Paddy for everything.

Such a lovely hut for our anniversary. The place itself was so lovely & the owners were incredibly helpful. Such a clean and lovely stay. Would love to have stayed longer and will definitely recommend to a friend!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at one of Kate’s shepherds huts, super super nice!! ( hence going again in the space of three months!) Lovely spot! Lovely and private, just the break we needed! Kate’s an amazing host! Thinks of everything, even slippers to get to and from the outdoor bathroom and hot tub. Loved the little book of past guests in the cupboard too, such a sweet idea! Will definitely be going to one of Kate’s places again, will be trying the cottage next time! Thank you!:) Matt & Amy

Gorgeous shepherd hut, loved everything about it, beautifully dressed and fitted out, really well organised and clean. It’s in a fabulous location, nice and secluded and really easy to visit Harlyn Bay and Constantine bay. Loved the outside undercover lounge area for a morning cuppa tea in the sunshine. Can’t wait to come back!! Thank you 🤩

Our stay was perfect! We stayed in the Robins nest, was peaceful, private, clean and beautiful everything you could want for a couples get away! Firepit was amazing, hot tub was easy to heat up and got really hot, bbq was nice and clean! The cabin was perfect everything you need. Cows were lovely to wake up to aswell! Amazing and helpful hosts. Would 100% go back again! Thank you 😊

What can I say, Zena’s place is truly something special! It’s so peaceful and private, it’s got everything you’d need for a relaxing stay. All the added extras from robes, slippers and breakfast in the morning. Even luggage carts are provided in case you have 1 too many bags backed to give ease when transporting baggage. My friend and I really loved our stay, the hot tub was great, the whole stay was truly idyllic. There’s a lake at the bottom of the garden you can take a stroll to, the 3 dogs were so friendly and loveable, they didn’t really leave us for our whole stay. I’d definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a quiet stay to unwind and relax. Tracy and Zena were so lovely and very accommodating. The outside space that is provided is wonderful, the outside fire pit, a bbq and a seating area upon deck too. An absolutely beautiful place to stay, this is my new favourite place and will continue to keep coming back!! Thank you so much ☺️

Thank you for a great stay! it is definitely the best stay we have had. It is the perfect set for a gateway to enjoy the birds signing, walks, wood burner with board games & bbq etc. everything you need is provided and it is the most relaxing place, out the way, super private. its exactly like having your own forest. can't wait to go again.

I brought my partner here for his 28th birthday and we had such a wonderful time. The cabin was as described and more. The attention to detail was everything! Jeni had kindly decorated the inside with a celebration banner and balloons which was a lovely surprise. There were a few snacks and milk in the fridge which was a kind touch. The hot tub had been pre heated before our arrival allowing us to enjoy it straight away. We were super lucky with the weather so enjoyed the gorgeous views all evening. Everything was clean and tidy, a very aesthetic little cabin. True to description, the location is rural however local shops/ a garage were about 15 mins away. We couldn’t have asked for more, this was the perfect getaway. I would definitely recommend and would love to go back.
