Great location for visiting Seaham sea front and all the new bars and restaurants. Great room, clean, tidy and comfortable. Have stayed here before

We had an amazing time at this venue. Lovely people and even the locals who use the pub from around the area were so welcoming. Fantastic way to start the New Year.

The Victoria Inn is a lovely quiet old pub (1840) in the small village of Kirby Malham. Very good hospitality here, very clean and bed linen lovely and crisp with fluffy towels! Full English breakfast excellent. Close to touristy attractions. Bit quiet perhaps if you want a restaurant, others pubs etc., within walking distant, this is a very small village with only one pub. If you don't enjoy hearing the church bells this place is not for you. Practise is on a Tuesday night, the night we stayed but even so they don't ring constantly and didn't bother us and we are not fans of campanology!! Otherwise, a lovely place to spend a night, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Would recommend this place.

#16 is the perfect place to stay when exploring Seaham. It is clean and cozy, close to the beaches, and it is walkable to several local restaurants. We have visited multiple times, and it never disappoints. Thank you Dave for another wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at No. 16 and we will definitely be back. My children really enjoyed looking on the beach for sea glass they didn’t want to leave. There is lots to do and all within walkable distance.

Very good for moving my son into uni, flexible check in, kim was very hood at communicating the instructions, bonus that we had plates and cutlery to be a ble to use fir something to eat, room was as expected everything we needed. Definitely recommended Thanks sara

Only stayed for a night, but room had all the amenities needed and more. I had an early start before a bike race and so found the fridge and microwave in the room very helpful to cook my own dinner and breakfast. Room was generally clean and well maintained, and Vikki was very helpful and responsive to my questions, with checkin/out being straightforward. I would highly recommend and would stay again. Would give the cottage and Kitty, our host, a million stars if we could! From the beautiful landscape to the cozy cottage, we loved every minute of our stay. Kitty recommended lots of great restaurants and shops in nearby villages which we enjoyed checking out. Their are walking trails right off the property. We spotted all kinds of birds, deer, and loved the horses and cows nearby. The cottage is decorated so lovely and having a fire in the evening was such a comfort. It's very clean and supplied well with kitchen utensils, coffee, etc. We were genuinely sad to leave! We hope to be back soon, if Kitty will have us! Can't recommend a stay here enough, you will have a wonderful time!

We had a lovely stay at Julia’s guest house. It was clean and cosy and in an excellent location. It was a 5-10 minute walk to the village. Corbridge is a lovely village with lots of coffee/tea shops, pubs, cafes and shops. Julia is an excellent communicator and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thank you Julia!

Lovely house. Place is bigger than the pictures shown. Easy check in and Hollie was responsive to messages. Kitchen is well equipped to cook and the garden was secure for the dog. Quiet area yet close enough to amenities. Would stay here again.

We valued having a peaceful place to stay within easy reach of the hospital for visiting a close relative. It was very quiet and comfortable and we appreciated kitchenette provision with microwave, induction hob, toaster and kettle etc and also somewhere to relax on nice seating downstairs. The loft area was ideal with good shower etc and quality bedding that gave us a good night's sleep. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the heating worked well so we were kept lovely and warm. Finally we appreciated the breakfast provision which was left for us. We came by car and parked on the drive but we do use rail sometimes and have railcards so the station nearby might be handy for some future visit.

We stayed here for four nights, and wish we could have stayed longer! It's so peaceful and cosy. The cottage has everything you need, including beautiful views and a wonderful fireplace. An amazing place to relax and unwind. Warm rooms, a good shower, and a suntrap on the deck out front. There is good phone signal (and WiFi) if you need it, but it's a great place to be tech-free. Close to all of the Roman "attractions". Anne and Maurice were very friendly and welcoming. We will be recommending to friends!

Everything was excellent. Beautiful location. Accommodation delightful, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and relaxing. A welcome tray, milk in the fridge, tea coffee. Books, games I could go on and on. Strongly recommend going. Walks in every direction from the village. The bakery is well worth a visit.

A wonderful stay at The Boathouse- perfect setting for a peaceful half term break. Fab train links in the village to Corbridge, Hexham and Newcastle….. with the Boathouse providing a wonderful base to retire to. Spotless home, well equipped kitchen, plenty of space, very comfortable beds, log burner, village pub, village cafe, plenty to do. Not much more needed than that! Thanks to Ellie our host who was super responsive and full of great recommendations.

Easy to find and clear instructions, it was as expected. Spotlessly clean and ideal for my needs. Lovely village with nice walks and accessible to the moors and sites of interest.

Great stay at Little Winton, ideally located for our visit to the area, delightful, beautifully presented property. Super hosts, highly recommend.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Nicola's Guest Suite. Everything was clean and fresh and comfortable. The situation of the property was ideal for our trips around Nidderdale. It was set down a quiet lane with easy access to the man roads. Communications with Nichola were very smooth as she sent detailed and thorough instructions to find the property. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

My husband and I had a great time staying here. The cottage is absolutely lovely! I really appreciated the pretty and cozy decor and finishings. As an artist, Dorothy knows what she's doing and has created a lovely place to relax and unwind. We brought our road bikes and were thrilled with the rides that we did along Swaledale and up a bit out of the valley. The bath and the stove were very welcome after our rides! We are fully intending to come back here to stay longer. We also particularly enjoyed a meal at the Kings Head along the road in Gunnerside (can recommend the steak pie!).

Amazing get away for me and the family are new home from home. Antony the host went above and beyond and took time out to show us around the farm and to meet all the animals. If your kids love been outside its the perfect place for them

Cosy cottage, beds including sofa bed very comfortable, good shower, kitchen stocked with basic provisions which was great as rural location. Would definitely stay again :)

This property is ideal for people like myself that are conducting business in the area and desire a place to sleep for a reasonable price, that's a local ice cream man all comes past the streets above. (make sure to bring your cash for the ice cream) the location is accessible both via a walking path and a driving one would stay there again.

Great stay at Alisons coach house. Alison was fab host, very responsive, good communication. Coach House felt like home, clean, well equipped and as described. Fabulous welcome basket, much appreciated. Great location for Hexham and Hadrains wall. Would have loved to stay longer. Would definitely recommend. Would love to visit again, as the area has lots to do. Thanks Alison for a lovely long weekend, we had a fantastic time. Amanda & Marc 😀
