Jordan was a fabulous host his communication from start to finish was so friendly and prompt and the flat was exactly as described , beautifully presented and immaculate . The views over the Tyne are lovely and it is about a 30 minute walk along to the great bars and restaurants along the quayside so you are away from the bustle in a quiet residential area . We were there for the unforgettable Caraboa Cup celebrations and could easily walk up into town , one of my highlights was a run along the quayside seeing the iconic landmarks in the early morning . Thank you Jordan for the thoughtful goodies on arrival ! Highly recommend this stylish and comfortable property and we hope to make a return visit .

Allaoua was very nice and easy to contact and would respond promptly to any questions we had. He went over everything when we got there and it was great for our family of 8. We even hosted a family of 5 for dinner one night and there was plenty of space for all 13 of us! Highly recommend! Lots of nearby restaurants/grocery store/beach!

Emma is an incredibly thoughtful host who clearly cares very much about her guests having a wonderful experience. Everything about River Dance Cottage was perfect. It felt like saying in a 5-star boutique hotel. Every little detail had been thought of and the cottage has been fitted out with top quality items, from the bedding to the furniture to the cookware. It really feels like a home away from home. We couldn’t fault anything. Add that it is in one of the best and most stunning locations in the Yorkshire Dales with gorgeous views and it makes for a very special experience. Thank you, Emma!

This little place is gorgeous, a little gem. So peaceful and calm, in a beautiful location. The house is done so well, and has everything you could need. Really cosy inside, and a great outside area outside too - loved having a cuppa and watching the little lambs jump around ❤️ Emma was such an amazing host, the instructions on the place she left was so through and such good information on the local area - wish we could have stayed longer! Lovely building. Plenty of space. Well decorated, uptodate-loved the master and kitchen. Very comfortable supportive beds. Downsides-no window covering in attic bedroom and some steep stairs with no handrail made it awkward for the children and upstairs WC very cosy but functional. Fab walks along the seafront/promenade. Beach 10 mins walk away-very big. Watch your step as dog poop galore-nothing to do with house owners but a shame. Walk the other way and great architecture and views across the working harbour. Host very communicative on a couple of slight issues. Recommended and hope to be back.

Stylish, spacious, very comfortable house in quiet setting with peaceful Marina views. Bright and light because of the big windows at the back. Exactly what it says ‘on the tin’. Had a relaxing 2 nights here and plan to come again when visiting family in Newcastle.

Beautifully renovated historic home off the beaten path. A stone’s throw from a lovely pub with upscale dining and a short walk from another homey pub with traditional fare. Set in the glorious dales and a quick drive from the Lakes District. Lots of trails right outside the door. Incredibly cozy with room to spread out, most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and a well-stocked kitchen. Made a great base camp for everything the area has to offer.

This is a great property in a perfect place to explore Knaresborough, Harrogate and beyond. John was easily contactable and gave very clear instructions on how to locate and access the property. The property was spotlessly clean on arrival, with a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. To note, the third bedroom is very small (one single bed) with no room to fit a travel cot in. We had a wonderful stay and would return!

The hosts were incredible the whole time. Angela and Deb were helpful, responsive, and kind. Not only was the place spotless and modern, the view from the bedroom windows was absolutely stunning. We were a 2 minute-walk away from cafes and restaurants. I have been to Knaresborough many times, and this was the best. If I HAD TO really think of flaws, the only tiny issue was that the body wash was nearly empty, but they had soap on the side for us to use, so it really wasn't a problem whatsoever. This is how much I need to nit-pick to find an issue. 10/10 stay. Absolutely would come again.

The nicest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in! Ivan was a lovely and helpful host. The view from the flat is unbelievably lovely, my eleven month old little boy couldn’t stop looking out of the window! The flat itself is beautifully decorated and it was the comfiest bed ever! Thanks so much, and I’m really sorry that I think we forgot to take the recycling out, it was a bit of a mad rush with a very tired baby! Will definitely stay again.

What a lovely apartment to stay in Durham! Chris was so nice to meet me there and show me everything with the apartment. The apartment is all new, very comfortable, with a beautiful peaceful setting on the river! He even bought me some food to get me through the mornings. It was so conveniently located to the town. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this apartment!

Amazing stay - we really felt right at home! The home was so clean and had absolutely everything we needed. Check in was easy and flexible. The location is perfect, so much to do in the surrounding areas and some really pretty walks nearby. We’ll definitely be staying again and have already looked at available dates. Honestly we couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Excellent location. A lovely flat walk to Toon. Sunday Market is great. Balcony fab for coffee and people watching. Very clean and tidy apartment. powerful showers. Citylink bus is regular and a minute walk away. Pub underneath is friendly and the food is good. Just remember to bring first night supplies. Nearest convenience shop is 20 min walk.
