Had a lovely few days stay. Was a very tranquil location and very relaxing. Stopping by to see the animals on site was a wonderful experience. The kitchen was equiped with enough pans to make meals while we stayed there. The shop was a wonderful touch to pick up produce from the farm or just a few ammenities that might be needed. So relaxing to sit in the hot tub in the evening after exploring local attractions which have very helpfully been highlighted in a small guide. Looking to return in summer to make full use of the bbq on site and firepit.

The pictures really don't do it justice. We had an amazing time and there's so much around the area to see, we've not even scratched the surface. We'll definitely be coming back.

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

I had a wonderful stay at the Shepard’s Hut. It was the perfect place to stay whilst working in Cheltenham for a few days. It was quiet and cosy and Rosalind was a friendly and helpful host. I look forward to staying again in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Our dogs absolutely loved the space and it was perfect for them to really stretch their legs. The cabin was super cozy, we stayed during a bit of a temperature drop so it was around -3 at night but the log burner was so warm we didn't even need a jumper on! Along with the temperature drop came some snow and we actually ended up getting stuck on the hill on toward the entrance but Mark answered his phone immediately and rushed down in his Land Rover to give us a tow up and nothing was too much to ask, we felt super accommodated. Thanks again :)

We had such a lovely stay in the Shepherd's hut! so peaceful! The outside bath was a real treat as well as the yummy fruitcake waiting for us when we arrived. Bed was super comfy. We were sad to leave. Thank you Be and Richard.

Emily’s place was an ideal getaway, secluded, clean, peaceful the perfect place to unwind for a few days, the hot tub made it extra special, all communication with Emily was excellent, would definitely recommend, will definitely be returning, thank you Emily.

I had a lovely few nights at Franks place, great hosts. A cosy shepherds hut with all the amenities you need readily accessible in a peaceful location. I had a lovely time looking at the stars from the deck outside with the fire going to keep warm. Breakfast was amazing, croissant with jams, fruit and yoghurt bought to the hut, with everything you needed to make a tea or coffee already there. Would definitely stay again if passing through the area.

Lovely place, great hosts. Could probably do with curtains and the shower is a little weak but that is nit picking. It is pretty much perfect.

A very pleasant 2 nights stopover. Peaceful surroundings and well equipped hut that was very comfortable.

Fabulous place can’t rate highly enough, so peaceful and fantastic for nature. The accommodation was spotless and has everything you need as well as some lovely extras like treats for the dogs and marshmallows for the fire. Can’t think of anything we would change and would love to visit again soon, thanks so much to the hosts it was perfect stay.

Absolutely loved our visit to The Shepherd’s Nest. We only live down the road and had spotted the hut on a walk and thought we’d try it out. Leaving the children with a sitter and enjoying ourselves in a beautiful surroundings was just what we needed as busy parents to young children. The accommodation was gorgeous (particularly loved the bath), the setting was stunning (including the cows) and the hosts were so friendly and welcoming (thank you Carol!). Couldn’t recommend more. We had the perfect weekend at the hut on the hill! The surroundings are beautiful and so peaceful, it was just what we needed. The hut has everything you could need for the weekend and lots of thoughtful touches (bread, eggs, milk, cake and marshmallows!). The stables are a welcome extra, giving you and the dog somewhere to dry off and also providing extra storage space. The area surrounding the hut is secure which gave us peace of mind that the dog could run around freely. There are plenty of walks in the area for you to explore and a welcome booklet for more inspiration about what to do on your holiday. Thank you so much for having us.

Lovely stay, Alice was very accommodating and anything we needed she was just a message away. The tree next to the hut was a bit disruptive in the wind whilst we slept and the hot tub took a little long to heat up so I’d say if you’re getting there a little late like we did then worth asking for it to be pre heated - I’m sure the host would do this as she was great for whatever we needed on our stay. Beautiful sceneries and great recommendation for the Royal Oak pub! Thanks for a wonderful stay

I couldn't recommend Mark and Teresa's shepherd's hut enough! The stay was lovely, far exceeding any Airbnb experience I've ever had in the 11 years of using it. Mark and Teresa were extremely kind and welcoming and put pure love into building their accommodation and making you feel welcome. I will for sure be back and fully confident everyone will feel the same.

We had a wonderful stay at Rita and David’s shepherds hut. The hut was very easy to find and in such a peaceful pretty little village. David came to greet us and give us some info for the heating and hot water which was really helpful and the welcome guide was also really useful. We had dinner at the Royal Oak which was delicious and they were so friendly in there! We also noted how quiet and peaceful it was as we walked back, so lovely to be away from the constant cars and general noise of a city. We would definitely return to Rita and David’s place, great value for money and a lovely find!

Wow what a special place. Dreamy hot tub and outdoor fire. The hut is decorated like a luxury hotel, lots of small special touches - fire wood to make a fire; board games to play, bath robes and slippers. We had the truly magical two nights away - perfect for some romantic time. We nipped into Wells on Saturday for the market (bus/car less than 10 mins) picked up lots of treats then enjoyed a lazy Saturday evening back at the hut under the stars. Lou was fantastic host, she helped set up the hut for my girlfriend’s birthday before we arrived which was incredibly kind and much appreciated.

Our second visit to this stunning hut with astonishing views and it’s just as perfect as the first time we came and just as magical of an experience. Being so close a town but once to pull up you feel like you’ve entered Narnia. Such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, me and my partner 1000% recommend and will most certainly return. Incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts!

Really lovely shepherds hut set up in the hills with amazing views. So quiet, warm and just what we needed after busy days battling the elements. Lovely welcome pack, Ned showed us how everything worked, highly recommend. Underfloor heating was a real treat. Thankyou for such a lovely stay.

We loved staying at this secluded Shepard's hut tucked in the beautiful rolling hills of the Welsh countryside. The hut was easy to find thanks to Manon's great directions and was in the perfect spot to explore the local area with a great disused railway line just out the doorstep of the hut, as well as being close enough to the coast and Aberystwyth. The hut itself was in immaculate condition, with the perfect use of the small space, it felt spacious and was easily liveable in. It was the little touches that Manon had clearly thought about that made it such a great stay, with a well stocked kitchenette and even hooks to put personalised dressing gowns on when in the hot tub. We don't think we've ever sat in a hot tub with such great views! We would recommend Manon's place to all and will definitely be staying again in the future. Thank you Manon!

From booking until check out, everything was perfect! Janine was a fantastic host. Full of great advice on walks, where to eat and clear instructions on check in. There were also great instructions in the hut for every single appliance which made our stay stress free! The hut was very comfortable, warm and cozy, and the jacuzzi was just what was needed after a long day exploring and views to die for. Beautiful location ❤️
